The synthesis and physical properties of new silicon‐containing polyfunctional cyanate ester monomers methyl[tris(4‐cyanatophenyl)]silane and tetrakis(4‐cyanatophenyl)silane, as well as polycyanurate networks formed from these monomers are reported. The higher crosslinking functionality compared to di(cyanate ester) monomers enables much higher ultimate glass transition temperatures to be obtained as a result of thermal cyclotrimerization. The ability to reach complete conversion is greatly enhanced by cocure of the new monomers with di(cyanate ester) monomers such as 1,1‐bis(4‐cyanatophenyl)ethane. The presence of silicon in these polycyanurate networks imparts improved resistance to rapid oxidation at elevated temperatures, resulting in char yields as high as 70% under nitrogen and 56% in air in the best‐performing networks. The water uptake in the silicon‐containing networks examined is 4–6 wt % after 96 h of immersion at 85 °C, considerably higher than both carbon‐containing and/or di(cyanate ester) analogs. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Fatty acid‐derived cyclooctenes, including n‐hexanoic acid ( M1 ), n‐octanoic acid ( M2 ), lauric acid ( M3 ), and palmitic acid ( M4 ), were prepared as monomers and polymerized by ring‐opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) using Grubbs second‐generation catalyst ( G2 ). In all the cases, the regio‐irregular unsaturated polymers with pendent linear branches were obtained, which could be saturated by chemical hydrogenation with TSH/TPA in high conversion, yielding ethylene/vinyl ester copolymers with pendent linear branches on precisely every eighth backbone carbon. Both unsaturated and saturated polymers were amorphous, and their structures were characterized by FTIR, 1H and 13C NMR spectra, and elemental analysis. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermo‐gravimetric analysis (TGA) were used to study their thermal properties. The chain length of branches greatly affected the thermal properties of polymers. This overview provides insights into the current state‐of‐the‐art solutions to insertion copolymerization of functional olefinic monomers. The challenges in insertion copolymerization of functional olefinic monomers, with a special emphasis on vinyl halides, are highlighted. The crucial design of the Pd–phosphinesulfonate [Pd(PO)] enables up to 3.6 mol % incorporation of vinyl fluoride (VF) in an ethylene–VF copolymerization reaction. In a significant development, insertion copolymerization of industrially relevant functional olefin, that is, vinyl chloride (VC), was unambiguously ascertained, and a detectable amount of VC (0.4 mol %) was incorporated (at the chain end). In a detailed investigation, the in situ existence of (PO)Pd? The first total synthesis of the title diterpene was accomplished starting from the Wieland–Miescher ketone. A diastereoselective sulfa‐Michael addition enabled the generation of the delicate β,γ‐unsaturated ketone moiety, while the tetracyclic kempane skeleton was readily constructed through domino metathesis.  相似文献

Abstract

A reagentless fiber optic biosensor specific for NADH, associated with flow injection analysis and based on bacterial bioluminescence is described. Only a buffer solution as flowing stream is required for the probe which works without supply of its coreactants (FMN and N-decyl-aldehyde). These are coentrapped in a poly(vinyl)alcohol (PVA) matrix which allows their internal release in the vicinity of the immobilized enzymes. Two PVA matrices differing by the reticulation process have been tested : first, by polymerization with glutaraldehyde and secondly, by a cyclic freezing-thawing process. The self-containment working time was estimated at 1 and 1.5 h of continuous measurements, respectively. NADH was determined using flow injection analysis. The sensor gave excellent reproducibility (RSD ≤ 3%) in the linear dynamic range 5 — 500 pmol with an average cycle-time of 2.5 min.  相似文献

The first divinyldiarsenes [{(NHC)C(Ph)}As]2 (NHC=IPr 3 a , SIPr 3 b ; IPr=C{(NAr)CH}2; SIPr=C{(NAr)CH2}2; Ar=2,6-iPr2C6H3) are reported. Compounds 3 a and 3 b were prepared by the reduction of corresponding chlorides {(NHC)C(Ph)}AsCl2 (NHC=IPr 2 a , SIPr 2 b ) with Mg. Calculations revealed a small HOMO–LUMO energy gap of 3.86 ( 3 a ) and 4.24 eV ( 3 b ). Treatment of 3 a with (Me2S)AuCl led to the cleavage of the As=As bond to restore 2 a , which is expected to proceed via the diarsane [{(IPr)C(Ph)}AsCl]2 ( 4 ). Remarkably, 4 as well as 2 a can be selectively accessed on treatment of 3 a with an appropriate amount of C2Cl6. Moreover, 3 a readily reacts with PhEEPh (E=Se or Te) at room temperature to give {(IPr)C(Ph)}As(EPh)2 (E=Se 5 a ; Te 5 b ), revealing the cleavage of As=As and E−E bonds and the formation of As−E bonds. Such highly selective stepwise oxidation ( 3 a → 4 → 2 a ) and bond metathesis ( 3 a → 5 a , b ) reactions are unprecedented in main-group chemistry.  相似文献

The batch emulsion copolymerization of vinyl acetate with different vinyl silane functional monomers (vinyl trimethoxysilane [VTMS], vinyl triethoxysilane [VTES], and vinyl silanetriol [VSTO]) is studied. The nature of the silane strongly affects the development of the microstructure and crosslinking ability of the latexes. A combination of techniques (Soxhlet extraction, centrifugation, assymetric‐flow field flow fractionation AF4/MALS/RI) shows that the factor controlling the molar mass and crosslinking density is the degree of hydrolysis of the alkoxysilane, producing higher molar masses and degrees of crosslinking when the degree of hydrolysis is high. Thus, the copolymer containing VSTO produced a very crosslinked latex, the one with VTMS produced a latex with a low degree of crosslinking in the wet state that can yield high degrees of crosslinking upon drying, and the latex with VTES do not produce significant amounts of crosslinking neither before nor after drying.  相似文献

A catalytic enantioselective synthesis of β-amino secondary amides was achieved using vinyl azides as the enamine-type nucleophile and chiral N-Tf phosphoramide as the chiral Brønsted acid catalyst through a five-step sequential transformation in one pot. The established sequential transformation involves an enantioselective [4+2] cycloaddition reaction of vinyl azides with N-acyl imines as the key stereo-determining step that is efficiently accelerated by a chiral N-Tf phosphoramide catalyst in a highly enantioselective manner in most cases. Further generation of the iminodiazonium ion intermediate through ring opening of the cycloaddition product and subsequent skeletal rearrangement involving Schmidt-type 1,2-aryl group migration followed by recyclization of the resulting nitrilium ion were also initiated by the same acid catalyst. Final acid hydrolysis of the recyclized products in the same pot gave rise to enantioenriched β-amino amides through C−C bond formation at the α-position of the secondary amides.  相似文献
