量子环面C-1上的一族Noether模

记C_-1为q=-1 的量子环面Lie代数. 本文以Laurent 多项式环C[x^±1] 为表示空间, 构造了C_-1上的一类Noether 但非Artin 的模, 并确定了它们的全部子模和商模以及它们之间的全体模同态,最后指出该模与A₁型loop代数忠实表示的关系.     

Aspherical Kähler manifolds with solvable fundamental group

We survey recent developments which led to the proof of the Benson-Gordon conjecture on Kähler quotients of solvable Lie groups. In addition, we prove that the Albanese morphism of a Kähler manifold which is a homotopy torus is a biholomorphic map. The latter result then implies the classification of compact aspherical Kähler manifolds with (virtually) solvable fundamental group up to biholomorphic equivalence. They are all biholomorphic to complex manifolds which are obtained as a quotient of $\mathbb{C}^{n}We survey recent developments which led to the proof of the Benson-Gordon conjecture on K?hler quotients of solvable Lie groups. Limit theorems on locally compact Abelian groups

We prove limit theorems for row sums of a rowwise independent infinitesimal array of random variables with values in a locally compact Abelian group. First we give a proof of Gaiser's theorem [4, Satz 1.3.6], since it does not have an easy access and it is not complete. This theorem gives sufficient conditions for convergence of the row sums, but the limit measure cannot have a nondegenerate idempotent factor. Then we prove necessary and sufficient conditions for convergence of the row sums, where the limit measure can be also a nondegenerate Haar measure on a compact subgroup. Finally, we investigate special cases: the torus group, the group of p ‐adic integers and the p ‐adic solenoid. (© 2008 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)     

Global analytic and Gevrey hypoellipticity of sublaplacians under Diophantine conditions

In this paper we consider the problem of global Gevrey and analytic regularity for a class of partial differential operators on a torus in the form of a sum of squares of vector fields, which may not satisfy the bracket condition. We show that these operators are globally Gevrey or analytic hypoelliptic on the torus if and only if the coefficients satisfy certain Diophantine approximation properties.

Examples for cross curvature flow on 3-manifolds

Recently, B. Chow and R.S. Hamilton [3] introduced the cross curvature flow on 3-manifolds. In this paper, we analyze two interesting examples for this new flow. One is on a square torus bundle over a circle, and the other is on a S² bundle over a circle. We show that the global flow exists in both cases. However, on the former the flow diverges at time infinity, and on the latter the flow converges at time infinity. Mathematics Subject Classification (1991) 53C44     

The cyclic structure of maximal tori of the finite classical groups

Maximal tori of all finite simple classical groups, as well as of special and general projective linear and unitary groups, are treated. For every such torus, its expression as a direct sum of cyclic groups is obtained in an explicit form. 在量子环面[1]上构造一类非交换结合代数AQ-模M(a,b),我们还刻划了AQ-模的结构并揭示[2]一类商模序列:每个商模Mn(a)/Mn+1(a)都同构于M(a,0),每个商模的自同构群AutMn(a)/Mn+1(a)均与C*同构.     

Positively oriented ideal triangulations on hyperbolic three-manifolds

Let M³ be a non-compact hyperbolic 3-manifold that has a triangulation by positively oriented ideal tetrahedra. We show that the gluing variety defined by the gluing consistency equations is a smooth complex manifold with dimension equal to the number of boundary components of M³. Moreover, we show that the complex lengths of any collection of non-trivial boundary curves, one from each boundary component, give a local holomorphic parameterization of the gluing variety. As an application, some estimates for the size of hyperbolic Dehn surgery space of once-punctured torus bundles are given.     

Representations of a Noncommutative Associative Algebra Related to Quantum Torus of Rank Three

In this paper, we present some modules over the rank-three quantized Weyl algebra, which are closely related to modules over some vertex algebras. The isomorphism classes among these modules are also determined.
