Study on the Superhydrophilicity of the SiO2-TiO2 Thin Films Prepared by Sol-Gel Method at Room Temperature

Nanoscale SiO₂-TiO₂ composite thin films with the thickness of about 100 nm were prepared by sol-gel method at room temperature in air. The chemical states of the elements on the surface and near the surface were measured by XPS. The results showed that the Ti on/near the surface of the thin films existed not only as TiO₂ but also as Ti₂O₃. Part of the TiO₂ was changed to Ti₂O₃ after UV irradiation. The crystalline structure of the TiO₂ in the SiO₂-TiO₂ thin films was anatase with the crystallite size of 14–20 nm. It was found that the thin film prepared at room temperature in air has good superhydrophilic property and has strong adherence to the substrate.     

Relationship between the dynamic softening transition and wet sliding friction of elastomer compounds

For properly chosen elastomer compounds, thermorheological characterization is combined with an examination of the variation of the wet sliding friction with temperature. A conceptual argument leads to the assumption that the wet sliding friction should maximize at the energy dissipation peak associated with the dynamic softening transition at a characteristic frequency determined by the sliding speed and the effective smallest surface asperity scale. The dynamic softening transition is characterized with the peak in tan δ/G′ⁿ, where tan δ is the loss tangent, G′ is the elastic modulus, and n is a constant between 0 and 1. The William–Landel–Ferry transform is uncritically applied for extrapolating the position of the peak in tan δ/G′ⁿ at high frequencies. Even based on the criterion of tan δ, the results obtained on a concrete surface indicate that the effective smallest asperity scale is of order of 100 μm. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 高压增氧T′相R_2CuO_(4+δ)(R=Nd～Tm)低温磁性研究

T′相R2CuO4稀土铜氧化合物由于尺度效应而产生弱铁磁性行为已经被人们关注,报导了通过高温高氧压(6GPa,1000℃)合成稀土T′相R2CuO4(R=Nd,Sm,Eu,Gd,Tb,Dy,Ho,Er和Tm)化合物的结构和磁学性能。磁化率曲线显示,在低温下所有的高压增氧R2CuO4样品都出现新的低温弱铁磁性反常行为,转变温度在28K附近。新的低温弱铁磁性行为是由于CuO2面上微量氧空穴的掺入,使处于反铁磁有序CuO2面形成局域化的铁磁性团簇造成。实验证明新发现的低温弱铁磁性行为与尺度效应产生弱铁磁性行为属于完全不同的物理机制。结果还预示T′相R2CuO4稀土铜氧化合物很难通过空穴掺杂而实现超导。     

离子束增强沉积VO2多晶薄膜的温度系数

用改进的离子束增强沉积方法和恰当的退火从V2O5粉末直接制备了VO2多晶薄膜.实验测试表明，薄膜的取向单一、相变特性显著、结构致密、界面结合牢固、工艺性能良好，薄膜的电阻温度系数（TCR）最高可达4.23%/K.从成膜机理出发，较详细地讨论了离子束增强沉积 VO2多晶薄膜的TCR高于VOx薄膜的TCR的原因.分析认为，单一取向的VO2结构使薄膜晶粒具有较高的电导激活能，致密的薄膜结构减少了氧空位和晶界宽度，使离子束增强沉积 VO2多晶薄膜结构比其他方法制备的VOx薄膜更接近于单晶VO2是其具有高TCR的原 关键词： VO2多晶薄膜 离子束增强沉积 热电阻温度系数     

双阳极磁控注入枪束流特性的研究

 介绍了用于34GHz基波回旋速调管的双阳极磁控注入枪的结构特点，为了准确分析磁控注入枪的束流特性，建立了阴极表面理论模型，用新编制的程序模拟了电子轨迹。模拟和测量结果显示磁场对磁控注入枪的束流有影响，磁控注入枪的束流也与阴极温度和空间电荷效应有关系。     

A greedy algorithm for multicut and integral multiflow in rooted trees

We present an O(min(Kn,n²)) algorithm to solve the maximum integral multiflow and minimum multicut problems in rooted trees, where K is the number of commodities and n is the number of vertices. These problems are NP-hard in undirected trees but polynomial in directed trees. In the algorithm we propose, we first use a greedy procedure to build the multiflow then we use duality properties to obtain the multicut and prove the optimality.     

On Weak Solutions of an Integral Equation Driven by a p-Semimartingale of Special Type

We consider the integral equation driven by a standard Brownian motion and by a fractional Brownian motion. Sufficient conditions under which the equation has a weak solution are obtained.     

Boundedness of Multilinear Operators on Herz Type Spaces： Extreme Cases

In this paper, two classes of closely related multilinear singular and fractional integrals,which include the commutators as special cases, are studied and their boundedness on Herz type spaces is discussed. In fact, it is proved that these operators are actually not bounded in certain extreme cases.     

Prediction of critical temperature of n-alkanes and n-alkenes from surface tension vs. temperature data

 The surface tension versus temperature data of homologous series of n-alkanes and n-alkenes is analyzed. Critical temperatures are shown to be predicted from these data, with a very high precision, after some corrections are made. The corrections are shown to arise from the effect of the critical pressure on the extrapolated data to surface tension approaching zero. Received: 29 October 1996 Accepted: 13 December 1996     

On a Class of Functionals Whose Local Minima are Global

In this note we introduce a suitable class of functionals, including the class of integral functionals, and prove that any (strict) local minimum of a functional of this class, defined on a decomposable space, is a (strict) global minimum. So, the recent result obtained by Giner in [1] is specified and extended.
