The formation ofJ-aggregates of three polymethine dyes in solutions and in Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) polylayers was studied. This paper presents a new method for the determination of Sudan dyes contained in hot chilli samples. The method employs second-order calibration algorithms to handle the recorded data. The second-order calibration algorithms are based on the popular parallel factor analysis (PARAFAC), alternating trilinear decomposition (ATLD) and self-weighted alternating trilinear decomposition (SWATLD), respectively. These chemometric methodologies have the second-order advantage, which is the ability to get accurate concentration estimates of interested analytes even in the presence of uncalibrated interfering components. The results on a set of spiked chilli test shows that low contents of Sudan I and Sudan II in complex chilli mixtures can be accurately determined using the new method. The sample preparation was based on solvent extraction, and internal standard was not required. Quantification was carried out with simple mobile phase.  相似文献

Neonatal exposure to synthetic estrogen endocrine disruptors or estrogen-receptor inhibitors induces developmental abnormalities in the male reproductive system. To investigate whether neonatal exposure affects spermatogenesis in juvenile and pubertal testis, Sprague-Dawley rat pups were given synthetic estrogen endocrine disruptors or estrogen-receptor inhibitors by a single injection on the day of birth at concentrations ranging between 2 to 40 mm, and sacrificed on day 21 (juvenile), 35 (prepuberty) or 50 (puberty). The testes were weighed and examined histologically at each stage. Further, the metabolites of steroidogenesis were analyzed using normal-phase high performance liquid chromatography. Neonatal exposure significantly reduced testis weights and steroidogenesis to one- fifth to one-half of that of the juvenile control, and further suppressed irreversible steroidogenesis and spermatogenesis during puberty.  相似文献

Treatment of 2-(tert-butyl-NNO-azoxy)anilines with phosgene at 20 °C was proposed as a novel route to 1,2,4-benzotriazin-3(4H )-one 1-oxides. This method involves a new reaction, viz., an intramolecular interaction of the tert-butyl-NNO-azoxy group with a C-electrophile (leading to the formation of the N(2)—C(3) bond of the triazine ring) followed by elimination of the tert-butyl group. Complete assignment of the signals in the 1H and 13C NMR spectra of the compounds obtained was performed. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Indocyanine dyes as fluorescent labeling reagents have been used in bioanalysis1,2. Arylsulfonate indocyanine dyes 1d and 1e developed by Waggoner A. Empirical solvent parameters of silica surfaces are determined by means of solvatochromic dyes, e.g., Cu(tmen) (acac)+ ClO 4 /B(C6H5) 4 , Fe(phen)2(CN)2, and Michlers Ketone dissolved in 1,2-dichloroethane or cyclohexane. The values obtained by UV/VIS-measurements are compared with both the polarity scales of Kamlet and Taft and with Gutmann's donor and acceptor numbers. Kamlet and Taft's -parameter (the hydrogen-bond donation capacity of a solvent) is determined independently by means of salicylideneaniline. The * of silica is determined using 5-N,N-dimethylamino-5-nitro-2,2-bithiophene and the complex of tetracyanoethylene with Michlers Ketone, respectively. Further on the reliabilities of the obtained Kamlet-Taft parameters , , and * are checked by comparism with experimental and calculated values of theE T(30)-parameter of silica by means of multi-parameter regression analysis. The surface properties of silica are influenced mainly by HBD-properties (75%) and dipolarity/polarizability * (20%), but hardly by the HBA-properties (<5%). Multigram quantities (2.5-10 g) of highly purified IgG were obtained within 4 h from serum by using Avid AL packed in a radial-flow column. Avid AL is an affinity gel containing a synthetic, low-mol-wt ligand capable of selectively binding IgG from serum of all animal species tested. By packing the gel in a radial-flow column up to 500 mL, a high flow rate of 50 mL/min can be achieved without adversely affecting the performance of the gel and the purity of the isolated antibody.  相似文献

A series of novel monoazo disperse dyes derived from the coupling of diazotized 2-aminobenzo[b]thiophene derivatives with N-arylmaleimides is described. The monoazo disperse dyes applied to nylon fabric and their dyeing performance has been assessed. These dyes have been found to give light yellow to reddish pink color shades with very good depth and levelness on nylon fabric. The dyed fabric shows moderate light fastness and excellent washing, rubbing, perspiration, and sublimation fastness. The percentage dyebath exhaustion on nylon fabric has been found to be good and acceptable.  相似文献

We present results from a computational study of 4-[4-(dimethylamino)-phenylazo] benzene boronic acid (DABBA) (the 4'-boronic acid isomer of the aminoazobenzene dye N,N-dimethylaminoazobenzene) and its associated anion, as well as, several cyclic esters formed from these azoborates and various conformers of D-glucose. Azo dyes that also contain one or more boronic acid functional groups are of practical importance in the development of chemical sensors for saccharide recognition because of their ability to induce a visible color change upon binding. The lowest-energy DABBA:D-glucose esters found in this investigation consistently involved at least one of the exocyclic hydroxymethyl groups on the D-glucose moiety rather than vicinal cis or trans diol arrangements of hydroxyl groups on the ring.  相似文献
