Poly[N‐(4‐vinylbenzyl)‐N,N‐dibutylamine hydrochloride] trithiocarbonate, which contains the reactive trithiocarbonate group and the appending surface‐active groups, is used as both surfactant and macromolecular reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer (macro‐RAFT) agent in batch emulsion polymerization of styrene. Under the conditions at high monomer content of ~20 wt % and with the molecular weight of the macro‐RAFT agent ranging from 4.0 to 15.0 kg/mol, well‐controlled batch emulsion RAFT polymerization initiated by the hydrophilic 2‐2′‐azobis(2‐methylpropionamidine) dihydrochloride is achieved. The polymerization leads to formation of nano‐sized colloids of the poly[N‐(4‐vinylbenzyl)‐N,N‐dibutylamine hydrochloride]‐b‐ polystyrene‐b‐poly[N‐(4‐vinylbenzyl)‐N,N‐dibutylamine hydrochloride] triblock copolymer. The colloids generally have core‐shell structure, in which the hydrophilic block forms the shell and the hydrophobic block forms the core. The molecular weight of the triblock copolymer linearly increases with increase in the monomer conversion, and the values are well‐consistent with the theoretical ones. In this work, we prepared a tertiary amide-based gemini surfactant (DSTAPA), which contained two pH-sensitive tertiary amide head groups. Then the molecule state distribution and self-assembly transition of the surfactant in aqueous solution were investigated under different pH conditions. The DSTAPA molecules were on the states of double cationic (DSTAPAH2+), single cationic (DSTAPAH+), and double tertiary amine groups (DSTAPA) under acidic, neutral, and basic conditions, respectively. With the variation of the molecule states, the sample was water-like below pH of 6.8 and immediately transformed to gel-like fluid between pH of 6.8 and 7.8, then changed to white precipitate with the further increase of pH value. Furthermore, the microstructure and regulation mechanism were investigated by rheological measurements, dynamic light scattering, and cryogenic transmission electron microscopy. The appearance and micelle transitions of the DSTAPA aqueous solution are actually owing to the spherical–worm-like micelle transition, leading to dramatic viscosity increase and hydrogel formation. This transition was completely reversible and repeated for at least three cycles. Finally, a reasonable mechanism of the transition was proposed based on the viewpoints of the molecular states and micelle structures. The DSTAPA aqueous system with pH-reversible property has a great potential application in oil and gas production.  相似文献

This paper uses the four-variable refined plate theory (RPT) for the free vibration analysis of functionally graded material (FGM) sandwich rectangular plates.Unlike other theories, there are only four unknown functions involved, as compared to five in other shear deformation theories. The theory presented is variationally consistent and strongly similar to the classical plate theory in many aspects. It does not require the shear correction factor, and gives rise to the transverse shear stress variation so that the transverse shear stresses vary parabolically across the thickness to satisfy free surface conditions for the shear stress. Two common types of FGM sandwich plates are considered, namely, the sandwich with the FGM facesheet and the homogeneous core and the sandwich with the homogeneous facesheet and the FGM core. The equation of motion for the FGM sandwich plates is obtained based on Hamilton's principle. The closed form solutions are obtained by using the Navier technique. The fundamental frequencies are found by solving the eigenvalue problems. The validity of the theory is shown by comparing the present results with those of the classical, the first-order, and the other higher-ordex theories. The proposed theory is accurate and simple in solving the free vibration behavior of the FGM sandwich plates.  相似文献

An easy,safe,solvent free and effective method for the synthesis of pyrazole-substituted chalcones has been achieved by grinding pyrazole aldehydes and acetophenones in the presence of activated barium hydroxide(C-200) in high yield within short span of time.All reactions were carried out just by grinding the two reactants in the presence of activated barium hydroxide(C-200). Wetting process of electrolyte in high density Cu/Sn micro-bumps electrodepositing is reported in this paper. Three methods were adopted to enable electrolyte to permeate photo-etching micro-holes with high aspect ratio, including plasma treatment, adding wetting additive in electrolyte and mechanical action. Wettability of the samples with electrolyte was improved by the first two methods, according to contact angle and surface tension measurement. However, electrolyte still cannot reach up to the bottom of micro-hole. And then, electrolyte was subjected to mechanical action, including agitation and ultrasonic vibration. Under mechanical action, void free Cu/Sn micro-bumps fabrication was achieved in photo-etching micro-holes with depth of 60 μm and radius of 30 μm. At last, we proposed a model to show wetting process of electrolyte in photo-etching micro-holes.  相似文献

The free (or open) boundary condition (FBC, OBC) was proposed by Papanastasiou et al. (A new outflow boundary condition, International Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids, 1992; 14:587–608) to handle truncated domains with synthetic boundaries where the outflow conditions are unknown. In the present work, implementation of the FBC has been tested in several benchmark problems of viscous flow in fluid mechanics. The FEM is used to provide numerical results for both cases of planar and axisymmetric domains under laminar, isothermal or non‐isothermal, steady‐state conditions, for Newtonian fluids. The effects of inertia, gravity, compressibility, pressure dependence of the viscosity, slip at the wall, and surface tension are all considered individually in the extrudate‐swell benchmark problem for a wide range of the relevant parameters. The present results extend previous ones regarding the applicability of the FBC and show cases where the FBC is inappropriate, namely in the extrudate‐swell problem with gravity or surface‐tension effects. Particular emphasis has been given to the pressure at the outflow, which is the most sensitive quantity of the computations. In all cases where FBC is appropriate, excellent agreement has been found in comparisons with results from very long domains. The formulation for Picard‐type iterations is given in some detail, and the differences with the Newton–Raphson formulation are highlighted regarding some computational aspects. This work presents experimental liquid densities and ultrasonic velocities for a collection of substituted aromatic compounds (isobutylbenzene, 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene, butylbenzene, isopropylbenzene, p-xylene, m-xylene and o-xylene) at the range of temperature 278.15–323.15 K and atmospheric pressure of a collection of halogenated and aromatic hydrocarbons. Fitting equations were applied to data in order to correlate for later computer-based design. The estimation of the studied properties was made by the application of different theoretical procedures. An equation of state based on the generalised Van der Waals theory which combines the Staverman–Guggenheim combinatorial term of lattice statistics with an attractive lattice gas expression and the free length theory (FLT) showed a good response at the studied conditions.  相似文献

A mesh‐free particle method, based on the moving particle semi‐implicit (MPS) interaction model, has been developed for the simulation of two‐dimensional open‐boundary free‐surface flows. The incompressibility model in the original MPS has been replaced with a weakly incompressible model. The effect of this replacement on the efficiency and accuracy of the model has been investigated. The new inflow–outflow boundary conditions along with the particle recycling strategy proposed in this study extend the application of the model to open‐boundary problems. The final model is able to simulate open‐boundary free surface flow in cases of large deformation and fragmentation of free surface. The models and proposed algorithms have been validated and applied to sample problems. The results confirm the model's efficiency and accuracy. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The amphiphilic organoboron block copolymer poly (styreneboronic acid)‐block‐polystyrene ( PSBA‐b‐PS ) has been prepared through a postpolymerization modification route from the silicon‐functionalized block copolymer poly(4‐trimethylsilylstyrene)‐block‐polystyrene ( PSSi‐b‐PS ). PSBA‐b‐PS is obtained through highly selective reaction of PSSi‐b‐PS with BBr3 at room temperature and subsequent hydrolysis of the BBr2‐functionalized intermediate. Transmission electron microscopy studies demonstrate that PSBA‐b‐PS undergoes pH dependent micellization in aqueous solution.
