Surface modification of imide containing polymers I: Catalytic groups

This paper describes basic studies of the surface modification of polyimide covered wires for insulation of electrical machines. Drain-off of the impregnating resin during production should be reduced by introduction of surface catalytic groups. ¹H NMR kinetic analysis of aminolytic ring opening reaction of low molecular model compounds for polyimides showed very fast modification reactions. The catalytic effect of various functional groups on unsaturated polyester imide, acrylate and epoxy resins was investigated by DSC. Co(II)-catalysts and tertiary aliphatic amines proved highest activity for double bond containing systems and epoxy resins, respectively. Aminolytic treatment of Kapton^® slides was followed by ATR-IR spectroscopy. Plate-plate rheometer measurements of epoxy resins employing tertiary amine-treated Kapton^® slides proved significantly reduced gelling temperature.     

Complete Oxidation of Methane over Palladium Supported on Alumina Modified with Calcium,Lanthanum,and Cerium Ions

The activity and thermal stability of Pd/Al_2O_3 and Pd/(Al_2O_3 MO_x)(M=Ca,La,Ce) palladium catalysts in the reaction of complete oxidation of methane are presented in this study.The catalyst supports were prepared by sol-gel method and they were dried either conventionally or with supercritical carbon dioxide.Then they were impregnated with palladium nitrate solution.The catalysts with unmodified alumina had a high surface area.The activity and thermal stability of the alumina- supported catalyst was also very high.The introduction of calcium,lanthanum,or cerium oxide into alumina support caused a decrease of the surface area in the way dependent on the support precursor drying method.These modifiers decreased the activity of palladium catalysts,and they required higher temperatures for the complete oxidation of methane than unmodified Pd/Al_2O_3.The improvement of the palladium activity by lanthanum and cerium support modifier was observed only at low temperatures of the reaction.     

Preparation of complex carbon-silica adsorbents with different properties

Summary The surface properties of complex adsorbents prepared through the pyrolysis of benzyl and n-heptyl alcohols and their mixtures on the surface of silica gel were investigated. The reactions were carried out in an autoclave at 500°C. A series of adsorbents having different porous structure, chemical nature of the adsorption centers and their topography were obtained. The best resolution of different mixtures was obtained by the carbon-silica adsorbent prepared through the pyrolysis of n-heptanol.     

化学蒸气沉积硅氧化合物调变HZSM－5沸石的研究

本文研究了正硅酸乙酯分别在无胺法和有胺法制得的ＨＺＳＭ－５沸石上的沉积过程，并用吸附，ＮＨ３－ＴＰＤ及异丙醇探针反应等手段表征了沉积后的样品，发现沉积仅在外表面上进行，可使孔口变小但不影响孔道内性质，显示有对于二甲苯分子的择形吸附能力，且在甲苯甲醇烷基化反应和二甲苯异构化反应中表现出良好的择形催化性能．     

4a,6,7,8a-Tetrahydro-1,3-dithiolo[4',5':5,6]-1,4-dithiino [2,3-b]-1,4-dithiine-2-thione as a precursor for synthesis of new organic π-donors

Role of montmorillonite in flame retardancy of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer

The effects of non-treated (MMT), organophilic (OMM), and olefin/silicone polymer intercalated (IMM) montmorillonites on the thermal stability of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) and on the flammability of magnesium hydroxide filled EVA were studied. The influence of various treatments on the delamination of montmorillonites in EVA was detected by rheological measurements and by Raman microscopy. The latter was a unique method for rapid detection of the dispersion also in highly filled EVA. Enhancement of thermo-oxidative stability of EVA and flame-retarded EVA could be observed by thermal analysis in the presence of variously treated montmorillonites. The flame-retardant efficiency of magnesium hydroxide was improved by simultaneous application of MMT and IMM. The increased performance of magnesium hydroxide was explained by the rheological effect of the IMM, catalytic effect of MMT and chemical interactions of montmorillonites with the metal hydroxide.     

接枝共聚物氯化聚乙烯—苯乙烯对聚苯乙烯的共混改性

用氯化聚乙烯接枝苯乙烯共聚物（ＣＰＥ－ｇ－Ｓｔ）和氯化聚乙烯（ＣＰＥ）对聚苯乙烯（ＰＳ）进行共混改性。当ＣＰＥ含量为２５％时，用ＣＰＥ－ｇＳｔ改性的共混物的冲击强度为１８．５ｋＪ．ｍ＾－＾２，是用ＣＰＥ改性的共混物冲击强度的２．１倍；其拉伸强度不低于３４ＭＰａ。     

Chemical modification of L-asparaginase with N, O-carboxymethyl chitosan and its effects on plasma half-life and other properties

E.coli L-asparaginase,an antitumor enzyme,was chemically modified with N,O-carboxymethyl chitosan to lower its artigenicity and increase its plasma half-life.The results showed that the modified L-asparaginase has almost the same apparent Km value as that of native enzyme.The modified L-asparaginase also showed a higher protease stability against trypsin and a-chymotrypsin.After being modified,the enzyme exhibited the complete loss of antigenicity towards antiasparaginase serum.In addition,the higher the molecular weight of modifying reagents,the better the effects on reduction of antigenicity.When tested in vivo,the plasma half-life of the modified enzyme (t1/2=40 h) was over 33 times longer than that of the native enzyme (t1/2=1.2 h).     

LaPO4纳米微粒的制备及表征

Surface-modified LaPO4 nanoparticales were synthesized in the mixture solvent of water-ethanol with the surface modification age of dialkylphosphate. The conditions of synthesis and characterization were discussed. The results indicated that nanoparticle core of LaPO4 and surface-modified layer were formed. The surface-modified nanoparticles of LaPO4 can be dispersed in organic solvent and has better lubricating properties.
