The versatile sulfur chemistry, as exemplified by the reactive yet tractable thiol group (-SH), offers unique opportunities for bypassing the obstacles in accessing stable and electroactive metal-organic frameworks. Of particular interest are recent advances in assembling MOF materials equipped with free-standing thiol functions: metal guests can be conveniently inserted to install electroactive metal-sulfur bonds, which, as crosslinks, also stabilize the host coordination net. Here the historical development of the bifunctional, two-step design embodied by the thiol-tagged MOF solids is traced, in order to highlight the underlying spirit that has driven research efforts in the past two decades. Going forward, broad new horizons are foreseen in solid-state materials synthesis, for example, arising from various sulfur-based hard-and-soft combinations, in synergy with the crystalline and modular MOF structural platform. 相似文献

Flexible lithium/sulfur (Li/S) batteries are promising to meet the emerging power demand for flexible electronic devices. The key challenge for a flexible Li/S battery is to design a cathode with excellent electrochemical performance and mechanical flexibility. In this work, a flexible strap-like Li/S battery based on a S@carbon nanotube/Pt@carbon nanotube hybrid film cathode was designed. It delivers a specific capacity of 1145 mAh g−1 at the first cycle and retains a specific capacity of 822 mAh g−1 after 100 cycles. Moreover, the flexible Li/S battery retains stabile specific capacity and Coulombic efficiency even under severe bending conditions. As a demonstration of practical applications, an LED array is shown stably powered by the flexible Li/S battery under flattened and bent states. We also use the strap-like flexible Li/S battery as a real strap for a watch, which at the same time provides a reliable power supply to the watch. 相似文献

The sintering and the structure of clinkers, modified by the introduction of different ionic forms of sulfur and phosphorus
into the raw mix, were examined. One reference synthetic mixture and 25 modified mixtures were prepared by mixing the reference
sample with 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5%w/w of chemical grade CaSO4, CaS, Ca3(PO4)2, CaHPO4 and Ca(H2PO4)2. Free lime content in all samples was measured. The sintering reactions in samples were recorded by means of differential
thermal analysis. The texture of the clinkers was examined using a scanning electron microscope and EDX. It is concluded that,
despite of their relatively low doping concentration in the raw mix, P and S affect considerably its reactivity and the texture
of the clinker. The various ionic forms of the same element (SO4
2-, S2- for S, PO4
3-, HPO4
2- and H2PO4
- for P) exhibit a different and unequivocal effect on the reactivity of the synthetic raw mix and on the texture of the corresponding
clinkers. S (in both forms) and P (added as HPO4
2-) are mainly dissolved in the melt and they have a positive effect on the burnability of the raw mix. P (added as PO4
3- or H2PO4-) is preferentially accumulated in belite. In this case further stabilization of β-C2S occurs and the binding of the free lime is hindered.

A chemical flux of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) in conjunction with low-energy Ar-ion bombardment has been used for chemically assisted ion beam etching (CAIBE) of silicon and silicon dioxide. The study has shown a large degree of independent control over the selectivity and anisotropy in dry etching. The total etch rate could be controlled by varying either the Ar-ion milling parameters or the chemical flux of SF6. Etch rate enhancement of 7–8 for silicon and 3–4 for silicon dioxide have been obtained over pure physical etching. 相似文献
