The thermokinetics of the formation reactions of cerium(III) n-dodecylbenzene sulfonate and cerium(III) stearate are studied by using a microcalorimeter. On the basis of experimental and calculated results, three thermodynamics parameters (the activation enthalpies, the activation entropies, the activation free energies), the rate constant, three kinetic parameters (the activation energies, the pre-exponential constant and the reaction order) and the enthalpies of the reaction of preparing cerium(III) n-dodecylbenzene sulfonate in the temperature range of 20–35°C and cerium(III) stearate in the temperature range of44.6–62.8°C are obtained. The results showed that the title reactions easily took place in the studied temperature. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

The temperature dependency of the saturated vapor pressure of Ir(acac)3 has been measured by the method of calibrated volume (MCV), the Knudsen method, the flow transpiration method, and the membrane method. The thermodynamic parameters of phase transition of a crystal to gas were calculated using each of these methods, and the following values of ΔH T 0 (kJ mol−1) and ΔS T 0 (J mol−1K−1), respectively, were obtained: MCV: 101.59, 156.70; Knudsen: 130.54, 224.40; Flow transpiration: 129.34, 212.23; Membrane: 95.45, 149.44 Coprocessing of obtaining data (MCV, flow transportation method and Knudsen method) at temperature ranges 110−200°C as also conducted:ΔH T 0 =127.9±2.1 (kJ mol−1 ); ΔS T 0 =215.2±5.0 (J mol−1 K−1 ). In this work we synthesized new monofunctional gold(III) complex [Au(Cl-Ph-tpy)Cl]Cl2 (Cl-Ph-tpy = 4′-[4-chlorophenyl]-2,2′:6′, 2″-terpyridine). This complex was characterized by UV–Vis, NMR, IR, and ESI-MS spectrometry. The kinetic study of the substitution reactions of the Au-Cl-Ph-tpy complex with biomolecules showed that the rate constants depend on the nature of the entering nucleophile. Based on the calculated values of entropy (∆H > 0) and enthalpy (∆S < 0) the proposed substitution mechanism is associative. Additionally, the relative stability and thermodynamic properties of Au-Cl-Ph-tpy complex were compared with the analogue Au-tpy complex by the B3LYP/def2-svp method. DNA/BSA binding studies showed that Au-Cl-Ph-tpy complex interacts with CT DNA through the intercalation and moderately quenches the fluorescence of tryptophan residues in serum albumin (BSA). Molecular docking confirmed results obtained by spectroscopic experiments and suggested site I (subdomain IIA) for binding of Au complex to BSA. We demonstrated that the Au chlorophenyl terpyridine complex possessed significant in vitro cytotoxic activity against human oral squamous carcinoma cells (CAL-27), induced apoptosis, inhibited proliferation of CAL-27 cells, and induced cell cycle disturbance. Treatment of CAL-27 cells with the Au complex enhanced expression of cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors p21 and p27, resulting in cell cycle arrest in the G1 phase, reduced the percentage of CAL-27 cells in S phase and decreased expression of Ki-67. Additionally, Au complex reduced expression of phosphorylated STAT3 and downstream regulated molecules associated with cancer stemness, NANOG, and Sox2 protein.  相似文献

The medicinal plant Atractylodes macrocephala (Baizhu in Chinese) has been widely used in traditional Chinese medicine for energy and stomach complaints, treatment of dyspepsia and anorexia, anti-inflammation, anticancer and for increasing assimilation. A high-speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC) method was developed for the preparative separation and purification of two main bioactive components, namely, atractylon and atractylenolide III from A. macrocephala by using light petroleum (60-90 degrees C)-ethyl acetate-ethanol-water (4:1:4:1 v/v) as the two-phase solvent system in dual-mode elution. Compared with the separation using the normal-mode elution, the dual-mode HSCCC can be achieved with shorter elution time. Atractylenolide III (32.1 mg) at 99.0% purity and 319.6 mg atractylon at 97.8% purity could be obtained from 1000 mg crude sample in a single run. The recoveries of atractylenolide III and atractylon were 95.4 and 92.6%, respectively.  相似文献

The title compound [NdK(btec)(H2O)2]n 1 was synthesized via the hydrothermal reaction of Zn(OAc)2·H2O, Nd(NO3)3 and KOH with 1,2,4,5-benzenetetra-carboxylic acid (H4btec), and characterized by elemental analysis and infrared spectra.The crystal of 1 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 8.9023(3), b = 7.8954(1), c = 17.6249(5)A, β = 91.857(1)o, V = 1238.16(6) -3, Z = 4, C10H6KNdO10, Mr = 469.49, Dc = 2.519 g/cm3, F(000) = 900 and μ(MoKα) = 4.585 mm-1.The final R = 0.0404 and wR = 0.0832 for 2197 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I) and R = 0.0431 and wR = 0.0854 for all data.X-ray diffraction reveals that the btec ligand serves as a (16-bridging ligand to link the Nd(III) and K(I) atoms into a three-dimensional coordination polymer.Photoluminescent investigation shows that the title compound displays strong emission in the blue region, which may be attributed to an intraligand emission state.  相似文献

A simple and rapid flow-injection spectrophotometric method for the determination of iron(III) and total iron is proposed. The method is based on the reaction between iron(III) and O-acetylsalicylhydroxamic acid (AcSHA) in a 2 % methanol solution resulting in an intense violet complex with strong absorption at 475 nm. Optimum conditions for the determination of iron(III) and the interfering ions were tested. The relative standard deviation for the determination of 5 μg L−1 iron(III) was 0.85 % (n = 10), and the limit of detection (blank signal plus three times the standard deviation of the blank) was 0.5 μg L−1, both based on the injection volumes of 20 μL. The method was successfully applied in the determination of iron(III) and total iron in water and ore samples. The method was verified by analysing a certified reference material Zn/Al/Cu 43XZ3F and also by the AAS method.  相似文献

Four novel lanthanide coordination polymers [Pr(mal)(OH)(bipy) · 2H2O]n (1), {[Dy1(SBA)3(H2O)2][Dy2(SBA)3(H2O)2] · 4H2O}n (2), {[Tb(OHnic)(Onic)(H2O)5 · (OHnicH)] · H2O}n (3) and {[Sm(OHnic)(Onic)(H2O)5 · (OHnicH)] · H2O}n (4) (Hmal = maleic acid, HSBA = 4-sulfobenzoic acid, OHnicH = 6-hydroxynicotinic acid and bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine) have been synthesized and determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 is a 1-D helical chain with seven-coordinated praseodymium centers. Complex 2 forms 1-D chain-like molecular structure containing two crystallographically unique dysprosium centers, the Dy1 center is seven-coordinated while Dy2 is eight-coordinated. The isomorphous complexes 3 and 4 exhibit an unprecedented 1-D chain-like polymeric structure through hydroxyl oxygen atoms of bridging Onic2− anions linking up the neighboring central ions, and there exist three types of 6-OHnicH ligands in the structural unit which is rare for lanthanide carboxylate complexes. The photophysical properties of these complexes were studied using ultraviolet absorption spectra, fluorescence excitation and emission spectra.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel method has been established to determine levodopa with the detection system of potassium ferricyanide‐Fe(III). In the presence of potassium ferricyanide, it has been demonstrated that Fe(III) is reduced to Fe(II) by levodopa at pH 4.0. In addition, the in situ formed Fe(II) reacts with potassium ferricyanide to form soluble prussian blue (KFeIII[FeII(CN)6]). Beer's law is obeyed in the range of levodopa concentrations of 0.01–4.00 μg mL?1 at the maximal absorption wavelength of 735 nm. The linear regression equation is A = 0.0082 + 0.61365 C (μg mL?1) with a correlation coefficient of 0.9996. The detection limit (3σ/k) is 9 ng mL?1, and R.S.D. is 0.73% (n = 11). Moreover, the apparent molar absorption coefficient of indirect determination of levodopa is 1.2 × 105 Lmol?1cm?1. The parameters with regard to determination are optimized, and the reaction mechanism is discussed. This method has been successfully applied to determine levodopa in pharmaceutical, serum and urine samples. Analytical results obtained with this novel assay are satisfactory.  相似文献

Peroxymonocarbonate (HCO4) was produced by the online reaction of bicarbonate with hydrogen peroxide. A strong chemiluminescence (CL) was observed when HCO4 reacted with AuCl4 without any special CL reagent. When bisphenol A (BPA) was added to AuCl4-HCO4 CL system, the CL emission was inhibited significantly. This new CL system was developed as a flow-injection method for the determination of BPA. Under the optimum experimental conditions, the inhibited CL intensity was linearly related to the concentration of BPA from 0.3 to 80 μM (R = 0.9958). The detection limit of BPA was 0.08 μM. The relative standard deviation for 12 repeated measurements of 1.0 μM BPA was 2.9%. The interferences of some cationic ions can be removed by an online cation-exchange column. The applicability of the present CL system was demonstrated for the sensitive and selective determination of BPA in real samples (mineral water bottle, baby bottle, beverage bottle and polycarbonate container). Based on the CL spectrum, UV-visible adsorption spectra, and the quenching effect of reactive oxygen species scavengers, a possible CL mechanism was proposed.  相似文献
