This paper presents a feasible direction algorithm for the minimization of a pseudoconvex function over a smooth, compact, convex set. We establish that each cluster point of the generated sequence is an optimal solution of the problem without introducing anti-jamming procedures. Each iteration of the algorithm involves as subproblems only one line search for a zero of a continuously differentiable convex function and one univariate function minimization on a compact interval. 相似文献

In this paper, we consider the problem of testing for variance changes in the linear autoregressive processes including AR(p) processes when there are autoregressive parameter shifts. In performing a test, we employ the conventional residual CUSUM of squares test (RCUSQ) statistic. The RCUSQ test is based on the subsampling method introduced by Jach and Kokoszka (2004) [16] to eliminate the influence caused by autoregressive parameter shifts. It is shown that under regularity conditions, the test statistic behaves asymptotically the function of a standard Brownian bridge. The argument examined in this paper is that music – when approached through making and responding to coherent musical structures,facilitated
by multiple, intuitively accessible representations – can become a learning context in which basic mathematical ideas can
be elicited and perceived as relevant and important. Students' inquiry into the bases for their perceptions of musical coherence
provides a path into the mathematics of ratio,proportion, fractions, and common multiples. Ina similar manner, we conjecture
that other topics in mathematics – patterns of change,transformations and invariants – might also expose, illuminate and account
for more general organizing structures in music. Drawing on experience with 11–12 year old students working in a software

This study discusses the evolutionary nature of knowledge acquisition at micro and macro levels, and in particular when the process involves an artificial agent's interpretative devices.
