Convenient route to enantiopure aryl cyclopentanes via Diels-Alder reaction of asymmetric dienes. Total synthesis of (+)-herbertene and (+)-cuparene

A general route for the synthesis of highly substituted aryl cyclopentanes has been developed involving Diels-Alder reaction of asymmetric dienes prepared from (+)-camphoric acid followed by aromatization of the resulting cyclohexene derivatives. Employing this protocol enantiospecific synthesis of (+)-herbertene and (+)-cuparene has been accomplished.     

Syntheses based on (N,N-difluoroamino)dinitroacetonitrile

High reactivity of the nitrite group in (NN-difluoroamino)dinitroacetonitrile was demonstrated. Based on its reaction with HN₃, a new preparative method for the synthesis of 5-[(N,N-difluoroamino)dinitromethylltetrazole was developed; some derivatives of the latter compound have been obtained.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. 在乙醇－水溶液中合成了１４种２，６－双（１′－苯基－３′－甲基－５′－氧代－４′－甲酰吡啶）吡啶稀土配合物，元素分析确定其化学组成的ＲＥ２Ｌ３．ｎＨ２Ｏ并用紫外可见光谱、红外光谱，核磁共振谱，热分析，荧光光谱，摩尔电导等进行了表征。     

Synthesis of siloxane stationary phases for capillary gas chromatography and supercritical fluid chromatography

A comparison is made between dichlorosilanes and cyclic siloxanes as starting materials in the synthesis of stationary phases for capillary gas chromatography (CGC) and supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC). Siloxanes containing one or more of the side groups methyl, vinyl, phenyl, and cyanoethyl in various ratios were synthesized and compared. These phases were characterized by chromatographic (gel permeation, GPC), spectroscopic (IR, ¹H NMR, ²⁹Si NMR), and thermal (DSC) methods. Coated fused silica columns were evaluated with respect to polarity, crosslinkability with several free-radical initiators, and thermal stability. A new liquid phase, 7% cyanoethyl, 7% phenyl, 1% vinyl methyl polysiloxane is shown to be more polar than OV-1701, more temperature stable, easily crosslinked and suitable for use in supercritical fluid chromatography.     

Selective synthesis of isobutanol by means of the Guerbet reaction: Part 2. Reaction of methanol/ethanol and methanol/ethanol/n-propanol mixtures over copper based/MeONa catalytic systems

The synthesis of isobutanol via the Guerbet condensation between methanol and ethanol was studied by using sodium methoxide (MeONa) as soluble basic component and copper-based catalysts as heterogeneous dehydrogenating/hydrogenating metal species. The effect of the nature of the catalyst and the relative amount of its individual components with respect to the reacting alcohols as well as of temperature on productivity and selectivity of the process was investigated. The collected data indicated that the copper chromite/MeONa was more active than Cu-Raney/MeONa system. The reaction was shown to proceed with the formation only of n-propanol and isobutanol. Ethanol conversion up to 61% with selectivity to isobutanol up to 98.4% was obtained. The same catalytic systems were also employed in the reaction of the methanol/ethanol/n-propanol ternary mixture. Again copper chromite/MeONa resulted more active than the Cu-Raney/MeONa system. Finally, experiments were carried out on methanol/n-propanol mixtures in the presence of the copper chromite/MeONa catalytic system by recycling both the recovered solid copper component and the liquid reaction mixture for evidencing eventual copper leaching by MeONa. On the basis of the obtained results it was concluded that in the Guerbet reaction copper chromite works as heterogeneous catalyst.     

氟阴离子在有机合成中的应用：Ⅱ.无水氟化钾催化乙酐与苯甲醛的Perkin反应

用无水醋酸盐催化苯甲醛与乙酐的Perkin反应,一般反应时间较长,产率最高为55—60％.用三乙胺、吡啶和无水碳酸钾等作催化剂,产率也无明显提高.近年来氟阴离子在有机合成中的应用迅速发展,我们曾用无水氟化钾催化成功地实施了丙二酸二乙酯与苯甲醛的Knoevenagel缩合,并研讨了该反应的微环境效应.本工作首次用无水氟     

α－葡萄糖基甜菊糖的酶促合成反应（Ⅱ）

研究了以球形纤维素弱阴离子交换剂作载体，固定化葡萄糖基转移酶ＧＴ－１转化甜菊糖为α－葡萄糖基甜菊糖反应的各种影响因素。结果表明，甜菊糖的酶促转化到达一定程度后，继续增大酶用量及淀粉用量，对转化结果没有太多改善，固定化酶重复使用８次，活力下降较少，说明固定化效果良好。     

4-Aryldihydropyridines,a New Class of Highly Active Calcium Antagonists

The aryldihydropyridines first prepared by Hantzsch almost 100 years ago have recently been found to be highly effective calcium antagonists with suitable pharmacological profiles. An illustrative example is dimethyl-l,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-4-(o-nitrophenyl)pyridine-3,5-dicarboxylate (Nifedipine) which is already employed therapeutically. This substance lowers the frequency of attack of angina pectoris and reduces blood pressure. The discovery of the therapeutic activity of this class of substances initiated renewed investigation of the Hantzsch condensation and the synthesis of numerous 4-aryldihydropyridines and related compounds. Qualitative and quantitative structure/activity relationships of these substances can be deduced from their biological data.     

Application of thermal analysis to study of the synthesis of K0.5Bi0.5Tio3 ferroelectric

Synthesis of potassium bismuth titanate ferroelectric by heating of mixtures prepared using oxide precursors, i.e. Bi₂O₃, TiO₂ and K₂CO₃ was investigated. DTA, TG, XRD and SEM methods were used to study the formation of intermediate compounds and the final product. Usage of associated homogenization and grinding of precursors mixture permits to decrease the temperature of formation of K_0.5Bi_0.5TiO₃. One-step synthesis and photochromic properties of a stable triangle terthiophene

A new photochromic compound based on the hexatriene backbone was prepared by one-step coupling. The photochromic backbone, composed of three thiophene ring, undergoes reversible ring-opening and ring-closing photoisomerization reactions when irradiated with ultraviolet and visible light, respectively. It exhibited fatigue resistance and thermally irreversible photochromic properties. The ring-open form exhibits appreciable fluorescence, while quenched by the ring-closed form.
