Hydration behaviour of a lime-pozzolan cement containing MSW incinerator fly ash

A lime-pozzolan cement was used to make pastes containing different quantities of MSW fly ash. After setting, the pastes were cured in water at room temperature from 1 h to 260 days. The hydration characteristics and the nature of the hydration products of the various pastes were studied by simultaneous TG/DSC thermal analysis and X-ray diffractometry. The MSW fly ash was found to induce a slowing of the hydration process in lime-pozzolan pastes, and after some days an evident acceleration of hydration reactions occurred. Sulphate and chloride in the MSW fly ash yield hydration products forming a cementitious matrix.The author is grateful to D. Calabrese for assistance with the thermal and XRD analyses.     

Effect of cooperativity on the O-H stretching force constant in associated water species

CNDO/force calculations have been employed to calculate the O-H stretching force constants for various structures of associated water species such as water-dimethylether, water-acetonitrile, water-lithium fluoride, linear and cyclic water polymers. The variation in the O-H stretching force constant in A_m… O-H… D_n species where A_m and D_n represent, respectively,m number of electron-acceptor andn number of electron-donor molecules, is explained on the basis of the cooperativity effect. With increasing electron-acceptor power of A and electron-donor power of D, the hydrogen-bonded O-H stretching force constant is significantly reduced. The results obtained in these studies are in general agreement with experimental observations reported earlier.     

铁-钼/活性炭催化剂的费-托合成反应性能

用微型固定床反应器和原位穆斯堡尔谱考察了在活性炭担载的铁-钼双金属催化剂上的费-托合成反应和在反应条件下的物相。已知在费-托合成中铁有利于生成长链烃,钼有利于生成低碳烃。铁-钼/活性炭催化剂则综合了铁和钼的性质,其中铁-钼/油棕炭催化剂具有很好的活性和液化石油气选择性。在反应中,富钼催化剂的主要物相为铁-钼碳化物,而富铁催化剂的物相则为铁-钼碳化物和e’-Fe_2·2C碳化铁。     

NMR SPECTROSCOPIC STUDY ON COPOLYMER OF ETHYLENE-NORBORNENE

A series of ethylene-norbornene copolymers were synthesised using VO (OEt) Cl_2/Al_2Et_3Cl_3 catalytic system and their structure was characterized by ~1H-NMR, ~1H-~1HCOSY NMR and ~(13)C-NMR. Assignments of NMR spectra were given and discussed indetail.     

Calculation of harmonic force constants,vibrational frequencies and integrated intensities of some organic molecules using the MINDO—Forces method

The harmonic force constants, vibrational frequencies and integrated intensity ratios of CH₂, H₂O, CH₂O, C₂H₂, CO₂, HCN, CH₃, CH₄, and C₂H₄ have been calculated using the MINDO—FORCES program and the Pulay method for the calculation of the molecular force constants. The results obtained are in general quite satisfactory when compared with available literature values. The results are, however, not as satisfactory in case of molecules containing heteroatoms, due to the neglect of some dipolar repulsion integrals for the heteroatoms by the MINDO/3 method. Calculated integrated intensities for CH₃ and C₂H₄ agree well with experimental results. The calculated integrated intensities for other molecules are obtained for the first time and no comparison with published data is therefore possible.Part of the M.Sc. Thesis of K. H. A. 1978.

Triterpene glucosides of <Emphasis Type="Italic">Astragalus</Emphasis> and their genins. LXXIV. Cyclotrisectoside,the first trisdesmoside of cyclocephalogenin

The two trisdesmoside cycloartane glycosides astragaloside VII and cyclotrisectoside were isolated from Astragalus dissectus (Leguminosae) and identified. The latter was 20R,25-epoxy-24S-cycloartan-3β,6α,16β,24-tetraol 3-O-β-D-xylopyranoside-6,24-di-O-β-D-glucopyranoside and was a new natural compound. 第三组分Et2Mg对二茂锆/铝氧烷体系催化乙烯聚合反应的影响

研究发现在二茂锆-铝氧烷催化体系中添加少量Et2Mg能够明显促进在低Al/Zr摩尔比条件下乙烯高聚.以MAO作为助催化剂,Al/Zr/Mg摩尔比为1012时,得到高聚物,粘均分子量(Mv)为1.37×105,催化活性为2.83×104g聚合物/mol(Zr)h.而在同样的反应条件下,Cp2ZrCl2-MAO和-EAO二组份催化体系在如此低的Al/Zr摩尔比条件下无催化活性或以很低的催化活性生成低碳烯烃.对于这类三组份烯烃高聚催化体系的研究目前仍在进行中,以期得到有效的低Al/Zr比乙烯高聚茂金属催化体系.
