Near-infrared(NIR) fluorescent materials with high photoluminescent quantum yields(PLQYs) have wide application prospects. Therefore, we design and synthesize a D-A type NIR organic molecule, TPATHCNE, in which triphenylamine and thiophene are utilized as the donors and fumaronitrile is applied as the acceptor. We systematically investigate its molecular structure and photophysical property. TPATHCNE shows high Tgof 110℃ and Td of 385℃ and displays an aggregation-induced emission(AIE) property. A narrow optical bandgap of 1.65 eV is obtained. The non-doped film of TPATHCNE exhibits a high PLQY of 40.3% with an emission peak at 732 nm, which is among the best values of NIR emitters. When TPATHCNE is applied in organic light-emitting diode(OLED), the electroluminescent peak is located at 716 nm with a maximum external quantum efficiency of 0.83%. With the potential in cell imaging, the polystyrene maleic anhydride(PMSA) modified TPATHCNE nanoparticles(NPs) emit strong fluorescence when labeling HeLa cancer cells, suggesting that TPATHCNE can be used as a fluorescent carrier for specific staining or drug delivery for cellular imaging. TPATHCNE NPs fabricated by bovine serum protein(BSA) are cultivated with mononuclear yeast cells, and the intense intracellular red fluorescence indicates that it can be adopted as a specific stain for imaging. 相似文献

This paper reports that the Tm^3+:Lu2SiO5 (Tm:LSO) crystal is grown by Czochralski technique. The roomtemperature absorption spectra of Tm:LSO crystal are measured on a b-cut sample with 4 at.% thulium. According to the obtained Judd-Ofelt intensity parameters Ω2=9.3155×10^-20 cm^2, Ω4=8.4103×10^-20 cm^2, Ω6=1.5908×10^-20 cm^2, the fluorescence lifetime is calculated to be 2.03 ms for ^3F4 → ^3H6 transition, and the integrated emission cross section is 5.81×10^-18 cm^2. Room-temperature laser action near 2μm under diode pumping is experimentally evaluated in Tm:LSO. An optical-optical conversion efficiency of 9.1% and a slope efficiency of 16.2% are obtained with continuouswave maximum output power of 0.67 W. The emission wavelengths of Tm:LSO laser are centred around 2.06μm with spectral bandwidth of -13.6 nm. 相似文献

The application of solid-state NMR methodology for bio-molecular structure determination requires the measurement of constraints in the form of 13C–13C and 13C–15N distances, torsion angles and, in some cases, correlation of the anisotropic interactions. Since the availability of structurally important constraints in the solid state is limited due to lack of sufficient spectral resolution, the accuracy of the measured constraints become vital in studies relating the three-dimensional structure of proteins to its biological functions. Consequently, the theoretical methods employed to quantify the experimental data become important. To accentuate this aspect, we re-examine analytical two-spin models currently employed in the estimation of 13C–13C distances based on the rotational resonance (R 2) phenomenon. Although the error bars for the estimated distances tend to be in the range 0.5–1.0 Å, R 2 experiments are routinely employed in a variety of systems ranging from simple peptides to more complex amyloidogenic proteins. In this article we address this aspect by highlighting the systematic errors introduced by analytical models employing phenomenological damping terms to describe multi-spin effects. Specifically, the spin dynamics in R 2 experiments is described using Floquet theory employing two different operator formalisms. The systematic errors introduced by the phenomenological damping terms and their limitations are elucidated in two analytical models and analysed by comparing the results with rigorous numerical simulations. 相似文献

Dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) is a powerful method to enhance the sensitivity of solid-state magnetic nuclear resonance (ssNMR) spectroscopy. However, its biomolecular applications at high magnetic fields (preferably>14 T) have so far been limited by the intrinsically low efficiency of polarizing agents and sample preparation aspects. Herein, we report a new class of trityl-nitroxide biradicals, dubbed SNAPols that combine high DNP efficiency with greatly enhanced hydrophilicity. SNAPol-1, the best compound in the series, shows DNP enhancement factors at 18.8 T of more than 100 in small molecules and globular proteins and also exhibits strong DNP enhancements in membrane proteins and cellular preparations. By integrating optimal sensitivity and high resolution, we expect widespread applications of this new polarizing agent in high-field DNP/ssNMR spectroscopy, especially for complex biomolecules. 相似文献

We report a completely solid-state continuous-wave (CW) blue laser operating at 447 nm utilizing intracavity frequency tripling
of an LD-side-pumped Nd:YAlO3 (Nd:YAP) laser operating at 1341.4 nm. An LBO crystal with type-I critical phase matching and a KTP crystal with type-II
critical phase matching (CTM) were used for the second harmonic generation (SHG) and the third harmonic generation (THG),
respectively. In view of the analysis of the cavity stability, a four-mirror folded cavity was designed and the output characteristics
were theoretically analyzed. Experimental characteristics obtained were shown to be in agreement with the theoretical analysis.
The maximum output power of the 447 nm CW blue laser reached 114 mW, which corresponds to a red-to-blue conversion efficiency

Solid-state fermentation of coconut oil cake has been carried out with Rhizopus oligosporus for the production of phytase. Phytase is used commercially in the animal feed industry to improve animal performance because
there is a substantial and growing interest among swine and poultry producers in the application of phytase to improve the
nutritional quality in animal feeds. Demonstrated benefits include improved feed yield ratios and reduction in the environmental
costs associated with the disposal of animal wastes. We report the production of extracellular phytase by R. oligosporus under solid-state fermentation using coconut oil cake as substrate. Maximal enzyme production (14.29 U/g of dry substrate)
occurred at pH 5.3, 30°C, and 54.5% moisture content after 96 h of incubation. The addition of extra nutrients to the substrate
resulted in inhibition of product formation. The results indicate the scope for production of phytase using coconut oil cake

Studies were carried out in a packed-bed column fermentor using coffee husk as substrate in order to verify a relationship
between caffeine degradation and the respiration of Aspergillus sp. LPBx. Fermentation conditions were optimized by using factorial design experiments. The kinetic study showed that the
caffeine degradation was related to the development of mold and its respiration and also with the consumption of reducing
sugars present in coffee husk. From the values obtained experimentally for oxygen uptake rate and CO2 evolved, we determined a biomass yield of 3.811 g of biomass/g of consumed O2 and a maintenance coefficient of 0.0031 g of consumed O2/(g of biomass·h). A full investigation of the possible homonuclear double-quantum recoupling sequences, based on the RN family of sequences with N < or = 20, is given. Several new RN sequences, R16(6)(5), R18(8)(5), and R18(10)(5), were applied at high magic-angle spinning rates and compared with theory. The R18(10)(5) technique can be used to recouple dipolar couplings at spinning rates up to 39 kHz, and the application of the sequence in an INADEQUATE experiment is shown for a spinning rate of 30 kHz. 相似文献

Simple modifications of the rotational resonance experiment substantially reduce the total experimental time needed to measure weak homonuclear dipolar couplings, a critical factor for achieving routine internuclear distance measurements in large biomolecular systems. These modifications also address several problems cited in the literature. Here we introduce a constant-time rotational resonance experiment that eliminates the need for control spectra to correct for effects from variable RF heating, particularly critical for accurate long-distance measurements. This reduces the total number of experiments needed by as much as a factor of 2. Other improvements incorporated include achieving selective inversion with a delay rather than a weak pulse (P. R. Costa et al., J. Am. Chem. Soc. 119, 10487-10493, 1997), which we observe results in the elimination of oscillations in peak intensities for short mixing time points. This reduces the total experiment time in two ways. First, there is no longer a need to average different "zero"-time points (S. O. Smith et al., Biochemistry 33, 6334-6341, 1994) to correct for intensity variations. Second, short-mixing-time lineshape differences observed in large membrane-bound proteins only appear with the weak-pulse inversion and not when using the delay inversion. Consistent lineshapes between short and long mixing times permit the use of a single spectrum for subtraction of natural abundance background signals from all labeled-protein time points. Elimination of these effects improves the accuracy and efficiency of rotational resonance internuclear distance measurements. 相似文献
