Highly regiospecific mononitration of phenols and substituted phenols is accomplished employing a metal nitrate and a catalytic amount of p-toluenesulfonic acid in acetone. An exclusive ortho-selectivity was observed with excellent yields. A variety of metal nitrates were used to obtain o-nitrophenols exclusively in good to excellent yields. The use of p-toluenesulfonic acid is key for the selectivity observed.  相似文献

The absorption spectra of Co(II) chloride complexes, containing variable concentrations of chloride ligand, in a molten mixture of 80 mol% acetamide–20 mol% calcium nitrate tetrahydrate, were studied at 313, 333, 353, and 363 K, in the wavelength range 400-800 nm. The melt contains three possible ligands (CH3CONH2, H2O, and NO3 -) for competition with added chloride ligand. Addition of chloride caused a shift of the absorption maximum of octahedral cobalt(II) nitrate towards lower energies and pronounced changes in the shape of the initial spectrum of cobalt(II) nitrate. The effect of temperature changes on the molar absorption coefficient of the Co(II) species was dependent on the chloride concentration and was attributed to the structural changes occurring in the cobalt(II) species. The STAR and STAR FA programs were applied to identify the complex ionic species and to calculate the stability constants of Co(II) complexes formed in this solvent. The results indicate the highest probability of formation of the following complex species: Co(NO3)4 2-, Co(NO3)2Cl2 2-, and CoCl4 2-. Stability constants of each complex were presented for the equilibria occurring at 313, 333, 353, and 363 K. Distribution of the Co(II) species was also calculated over the ranges of chloride concentration and temperature investigated.  相似文献

The ion-exchange equilibrium in network polymers obtained from cis-2,8,14,20-tetraphenyl-4,6,10,12,16,18,22,24-octahydroxycalix[4]arene by template synthesis on cations Na+, K+, and Ba2+ as matrices was studied. The selectivity coefficients of ion exchanges Ba2+-H+, Na+-H+, K+-H+, Na+-K+, and Na+-NH4 + were determined. The template synthesis enhanced the affinity of the polymers to matrix-forming cations by 6–8 kJ mol−1. __________ Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. A homodinuclear complex (NH3CH2CH2CH2NH3)2 {Na2[(C6H4O2)2] (C6H4O2H)2} (1) has been synthesized by a solution-based self-assembly route. It crystallized in monoclinic system with space group P21/c. Every sodium ion coordinates in a tetragonal prism fashion with two O atoms of a terminal chelating catecholate ligand and three O atoms from two bridging catecholate ligands. Two neighboring NaO5 tetragonal prisms are edge-shared and centrosymmetric with regard to the inversion center to form a binuclear cluster {Na2[(C6H4O2)2](C6H4OOH)2}^4- anion. The complex anions were aligned parallelly by n-n interaction and linked with the protonated 1,3-propylenediamine through hydrogen bonds which were assembled into a multi-lamellar structure with channels. The crystal exhibits rectangular geometry with an interior triangle hollow structure under optical microscopy. And the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) indicates that the wall of the tubes shows multi-lamella morphologies. Further, the transmission electron microscopy (TEM) reveals that the crystal is composed of multi-lamellar nano-tubes with diameters less than 100 nm. The molecular structure of the complex was compared with that of its isomer complex 2.  相似文献

The apparent molar heat capacities of dilute aqueous solutions of acetic, propanoic and succinic acid and sodium salts of the two monofunctional acids were measured at 300 Kp,2 o . After subtracting the heat capacity of a point mass, the remaining heat capacity was successfully decomposed into functional group contributions at all temperatures. Together with the results of our previous paper on alcohols and diols the heat capacity contributions of the CH2, CH3, OH, COOH, (COOH)2, and COONa groups are now available and these allow reasonably accurate predictions of the heat capacities of all compounds composed of these groups in this temperature range.  相似文献

Treatment of 2-(tert-butyl)-1,2,3,4-benzotetrazinium tetrafluoroborates with sodium thiocyanate afforded 2-(tert-butylazo)phenyl isothiocyanates 3, which exist in equilibrium with 2-(tert-butyl)-1,2,4-benzotriazine-3(2H)-thiones 3′. The equilibrium depends on the substituents R in the benzene ring: the percentage of the open isomer 3 is about 20% for R = H or Me; for R = Cl or Br, the equilibrium is completely shifted to cyclic isomer 3′. The equilibrium is slow on the time scale of the 1H and 13C NMR experiments. For compounds 3a/3′a (R = H), the spectra at 24 °C show two sets of signals, while those at 0 °C contain only signals for isomer 3′a. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. Colorless crystal, [Ce(NO3)5H2O]·(C3N2H5)2, has been obtained from the reaction of Ce(NO3)3 with imdazole in the aqueous solution and its crystal structure has been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction techniques.The crystal belongs to triclinic, space group P1. The cell parameters are: a = 0.7489(1) um, b = 0.7914(2) nm, c = 1.8139(3) nm, a = 89.39(2)°, β = 89.37(l) °,γ = 63.18(2)°, Dc = 2.1g·cm-3, Z = 2, R = 0.0319.In the compound, all of five nitrates are bidentate and one molecule of water is monodentate, the coordination number of Ce (Ⅲ) is 11.The processes of thermal decomposition of the compound was proposed by its TGcurve.  相似文献

The electrical conductivities of aqueous solutions of NaCF3SO3, KCF3SO3, and Ni(CF3SO3)2 have been measured at 25‡C in the concentration range 1 to 25X 10-3 mol-dm-3 The data approach the Onsager limiting law at low concentrations, leading to a limiting molar ion conductivity for the CF3SO 3 ion of 44.5±0.2 S-cm2-mol-1, based on standard values for the cations. Using a simple size parameter for unsymmetrical polyatomic ions, based on the ion geometry, it is shown that the well known empirical relation between the molar conductivities of symmetrical ions and their radii can be extended to include certain polyatomic anions including CF3SO 3 . The results suggest that the CF3SO 3 ion is either a weak structure breaker in aqueous solution or neutral in this respect.  相似文献
