The ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic wave functions of the KMnF3 perovskite have been evaluated quantum-mechanically by using an all electron approach and, for comparison, pseudopotentials on the transition metal and the fluorine ions. It is shown that the different number of α and β electrons in the d shell of Mn perturbs the inner shells, with shifts between the α and β eigenvalues that can be as large as 6 eV for the 3s level, and is far from negligible also for the 2s and 2p states. The valence electrons of F are polarized by the majority spin electrons of Mn, and in turn, spin polarize their 1s electrons. When a pseudopotential is used, such a spin polarization of the core functions of Mn and F can obviously not take place. The importance of such a spin polarization can be appreciated by comparing (i) the spin density at the Mn and F nuclear position, and then the Fermi contact constant, a crucial quantity for the hyperfine coupling, and (ii) the ferromagnetic–antiferromagnetic energy difference, when obtained with an all electron or a pseudopotential scheme, and exploring how the latter varies with pressure. This difference is as large as 50% of the all electron datum, and is mainly due to the rigid treatment of the F ion core. Gastric cancer is one of the most common cancers of the gastrointestinal tract. Although surgery is the primary treatment, serious maladies that dissipate to other parts of the body may require chemotherapy. As there is no effective procedure to treat stomach cancer, natural small molecules are a current focus of research interest for the development of better therapeutics. Chemotherapy is usually used as a last resort for people with advanced stomach cancer. Anti-colon cancer chemotherapy has become increasingly effective due to drug resistance and sensitivity across a wide spectrum of drugs. Naturally-occurring substances have been widely acknowledged as an important project for discovering innovative medications, and many therapeutic pharmaceuticals are made from natural small molecules. Although the beneficial effects of natural products are as yet unknown, emerging data suggest that several natural small molecules could suppress the progression of stomach cancer. Therefore, the underlying mechanism of natural small molecules for pathways that are directly involved in the pathogenesis of cancerous diseases is reviewed in this article. Chemotherapy and molecularly-targeted drugs can provide hope to colon cancer patients. New discoveries could help in the fight against cancer, and future stomach cancer therapies will probably include molecularly formulated drugs. 相似文献

A novel hyperbranched polyesteramine (PEA) architecture 1 was found to display light-harvesting properties by hosting anthracene-9-carboxylic acid guest 3. The light-harvesting ability has been studied by means of fluorescence spectroscopy. The binding behaviour has also been described by FT-IR and 1H NMR spectroscopic methods. Hyperbranched host 1 also acts as the photon-harvesting chemosensor of the anthracenyl guest over the benzoic acid guest. 微乳凝胶中小分子传质研究对于拓宽胶束酶学研究内涵、加速酶在生物合成与转化领域中的应用、研制高性能生物传感器等具有重要理论意义和潜在应用价值.以微乳液中二价金属离子与紫脲酸胺之间的配位反应为指示反应,采用分光光度技术,研究了金属离子在由阳离子表面活性剂十六烷基三甲基溴化胺构建的微乳凝胶中的传质问题.结果表明,在由含紫脲酸胺微乳液及含金属离子微乳凝胶构成的体系中,金属离子在微乳凝胶中的传质是金属离子与紫脲酸胺配位反应的限速步骤.为进一步证实上述结论,还对影响金属离子在微乳凝胶中传质的各种因素(如微乳液中水与表面活性剂的摩尔比值、分散相中甘油与水的配比等)进行了研究,结果也证实了上述结论. 相似文献

CdSe quantum dots (QDs) dispersed ferroelectric liquid crystal (FLC) has been subjected to small and wide-angle X-ray scattering and atomic force microscopy to understand the molecular organization in chiral smectic C (SmC*) phase. SAXS indicates that the presence of QDs causes enhancement in the smectic layer separation. The smectic order parameter for neat FLC and FLC–QDs mixtures is obtained in the range of 0.6 to 0.85. Both smectic order parameter and structural tilt are found to be lesser for FLC–QDs mixtures as compared to neat FLC. The insertion of QDs in SmC* matrix causes localized smectic layer distortion in such a way that spontaneous polarization remains almost the same but the electro-optic switching of molecules becomes faster. We have outlined the superiority of FLC–QDs mixtures for electrical energy storage and their suitability in electronic devices. 相似文献

The first synthesis of hebelophyllene E is presented, along with assignment of its previously unknown relative configuration through synthesis of epi‐ent‐hebelophyllene E. Development of a catalytic enantioselective [2+2] cycloaddition of alkenes and allenoates provides access to the required chiral geminal dimethylcyclobutanes. Key to its success is the identification of a novel oxazaborolidine catalyst which promotes the cycloaddition in high enantioselectivities with good functional‐group tolerance (9 examples, up to 97:3 e.r.). Thus, a late‐stage cycloaddition using a fully functionalized alkene, followed by a diastereoselective reduction allows a concise entry to this class of natural products. 相似文献
