We have studied the effect of the characteristic features of aggregation of some organic dye molecules during adsorption on
the parameters of low-temperature sensitized anti-Stokes luminescence (SASL) in microcrystals of AgCl0.95I0.05 solid solutions. We have demonstrated the possibility in principle of varying the position of the maximum in the SASL excitation
spectrum and its intensity by varying the concentration of the dye molecules deposited on the surface of the AgCl0.95I0.05 microcrystals. We have observed that the intensity of SASL excitation for these samples increases as different types of dye
aggregates form on their surface.

4‐tert‐Butylpyridine (4‐TBP) has been widely used as additive in dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSC), owing to its improvement of the fill factor and the open circuit voltage of DSC. In this paper, the adsorption of 4‐TBP on the rutile TiO2(110) surface in DSC was studied by using the density functional theory at DFT/B3LYP level. By comparing the results with those attained from experiments, it was concluded that the 4‐TBP could chemiadsorb on the incompletely covered surface Ti atoms in the electrode. The probable mechanism of compressed recombination by coordinated 4‐TBP in DSC was proposed. 相似文献

We have synthesized eco‐friendly, economic, and equally efficient polysulfobetaine‐based gel electrolyte to the alternative of liquid electrolyte in the fabrication of dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) for the first time. This nitrogen‐rich and highly conductive polysulfobetaine was synthesized by an easy and facile method without the use of any catalyst and explored for its DSSC application. The synthesized polymer gel electrolyte exhibited good ionic conductivity about 6.8 × 10?3 Scm?1 at ambient temperatures. DSSCs were fabricated based on this polysulfobetaine gel electrolyte and studied for their performance based on photovoltaic parameters. The DSSC photovoltaic results were appreciable and are Voc = 0.82 V, Jsc = 11.49 mA/cm2, FF = 66%, and PCE = 6.26% at 1 sun intensity. These values are slightly lower than conventional liquid electrolyte‐based DSSC shown as Voc = 0.78 V, Jsc = 12.90 mA/cm2, FF = 69%, and PCE = 7.07%, both at 100 mWcm?2. Conductivity and photovoltaic parameters of the device reveals that as prepared polysulfobetaine‐based polymer gel electrolyte may be useful in the fabrication of DSSC and other electrochemical devices. In this study, bulk TiO2 nanorods are synthesized by hydrothermal method in order to be used in the dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). These nanorods are annealed at different temperatures and deposited electrophoretically. The influence of post heat treatment has been thoroughly investigated on fabricated DSSCs using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The results have revealed that the diameter, size and density of the prepared bulk nanorods are function of annealing temperatures. Optimization of the prepared DSSCs has led to an improved efficiency (ca. 3.82%) under AM 1.5 simulated sunlight. 相似文献

以空心球状TiO2为基体、以片状TiO2为骨架,采用刮刀法制备了染料敏化太阳能电池的多孔TiO2光阳极薄膜。光电转化效率测试结果表明,当作为骨架支撑材料的片状TiO2含量为20wt%时,光阳极薄膜组装成太阳能电池的光电转化效率达到最高值4.53%,比商业P25制备的无孔无骨架TiO2薄膜电池(4.06%)及无骨架结构的多孔TiO2薄膜电池(4.17%)的性能均有显著提高。当片状TiO2的最佳含量为20wt%电池薄膜厚度为33μm时,太阳能电池光电转化效率进一步提升为7.06%。光电性能增强的原因是骨架结构有利于快速传输电子并增大染料吸附量。本研究通过设计制备具有骨架结构的多孔TiO2薄膜为提高染料敏化太阳能电池性能提供了新的思路。 相似文献

Dye‐sensitized solar cells based on a mesoporous ZnO substrate were sensitized with the indoline derivatives DN91, DN216 and DN285. The chromophore is the same for each of these dyes. They differ from each other in the length of an alkyl chain, which provides a second anchor to the ZnO surface and prolongs cell lifetime. Ultrafast transient absorption measurements reveal a correlation between the length of the alkyl chain and the fastest electron‐injection process. The depopulation of the excited state and the associated emergence of the oxidized molecules are dominant spectral features in the transient absorption of the dyes with shorter alkyl chains. A slower picosecond‐scale decay proceeds at constant rate for all three derivatives and is assigned to electron transfer into the trap states of ZnO. All assignments are in good agreement with a higher quantum efficiency of charge injection leading to higher short‐circuit currents Jsc for dyes with shorter alkyl chains. 相似文献
