Unsteady MHD flow of a non-Newtonian fluid on a porous plate

This paper deals with the study of the MHD flow of non-Newtonian fluid on a porous plate. Two exact solutions for non-torsionally generated unsteady hydromagnetic flow of an electrically conducting second order incompressible fluid bounded by an infinite non-conducting porous plate subjected to a uniform suction or blowing have been analyzed. The governing partial differential equation for the flow has been established. The mathematical analysis is presented for the hydromagnetic boundary layer flow neglecting the induced magnetic field. The effect of presence of the material constants of the second order fluid on the velocity field is discussed.

A unicity theorem concerning the total derivative for entire functions of several complex variables is proved.     

Continuous modified Newton’s-type method for nonlinear operator equations

A nonlinear operator equation F(x)=0, F:H→H, in a Hilbert space is considered. Continuous Newton’s-type procedures based on a construction of a dynamical system with the trajectory starting at some initial point x ₀ and becoming asymptotically close to a solution of F(x)=0 as t→+∞ are discussed. Well-posed and ill-posed problems are investigated. Hyers–Ulam stability of linear differential operator with constant coefficients

Let P(z) be a polynomial of degree n with complex coefficients and consider the n–th order linear differential operator P(D). 聚醚醚酮链结构与反应的模型化合物的量子化学研究

利用ＡＭ１方法对聚醚醚酮模型化合物全优化，结果为：芳环平均相互扭转角为３３．０度，桥键角１１７．０－１１８．０度，其分子结构拓扑图形表明：所有苯环（核）为平面构型，但其内角扭曲；其氢原子对苯环构型无实质性贡献，在更长链的计算中，冻结苯核与氢原子也得出满意结果，根据Ｍｕｌｌｉｋｅｎ键序与电荷讨论了醚交换与磺化反应。     

用激活性非线性介质Nd：MgO：LiNbO3产生二次谐波

以Nd:MgO:LiNbO_3同时兼作激活介质和非线性光学材料,研究自倍频激光器。用小型氙灯泵浦,在室温下获得二次谐波激光(0.547μm) 阈值小于4.8'J,最大输出400μJ/shot,工作温度范围大于20℃～45℃,无光损伤。     

关于非齐次m阶马氏信源的渐近均分割性

本文研究非齐次m阶马氏信源的渐近均分割性，首先我们得到关于此种信源m 1元函数的一类强极限定理，作为推论，得到关于任意非齐次m阶马氏信源状态和熵密度的几个极限定理，最后得到一类非齐次m阶马氏信源的渐近均分割性。     

How should one define a (weak) crystal?

We compare two proposals for the study of positional long-range order: one in terms of the spectrum of the translation operator, the other in terms of the Fourier spectrum. We point out that only the first one allows for the consideration of molecular, as opposed to atomic, (weakly) periodic structures. We illustrate this point on the Thue-Morse system.
