Amphiphilic diblock copolymers have the ability to adapt their surface's molecular composition to the hydrophilicity of their environment. In the case of about equal volume fractions of the two polymer blocks, the bulk of these polymers is known to develop a laminar ordering. We report here our investigation of the relationship between bulk ordering and surface morphology/chemical composition in thin films of such an amphiphilic diblock copolymer. Upon annealing in vacuum, the expected lamella ordering in the bulk of the film is observed and we find the morphology of the film surface to be defined by the thickness of the as‐deposited film: If the as‐deposited thickness matches the height of a lamella stack, then the film exhibits a smooth surface. Otherwise, an incomplete lamella forms at the film surface. We show that the coverage of this incomplete layer can be quantified by X‐ray reflectivity. To establish the lamella ordering in the bulk, the film needs to be annealed above the glass temperature of the two blocks. Molecular segregation at the film surface, however, is already occurring at temperatures well below the glass temperature of the two blocks. This indicates that below the glass temperature of the blocks the bulk of the thin film is “frozen,” whereas the polymer chains composing the surface lamella have an increased mobility. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 采用密度泛函理论的B3LYP方法, 在6-31G(d)基组水平下研究了以三联苯和二苯基苯并噁唑构成的十字交叉型共轭分子3,6-二苯基-1,2,4,5-(2′,2″-二苯基)-苯并二噁唑的电子结构和电荷传输性质. 通过对分子的重组能和晶体中分子间电荷传输积分的计算得到该分子的空穴迁移率为0.31 cm2·V-1·s-1, 电子迁移率为0.11 cm2/(V·s). 计算结果表明, 空穴的传输主要是通过三联苯方向上两端苯环的“边对面”的相互作用以及分子中心π体系的错位重叠相互作用来实现的. 而电子的传输路径主要是通过苯并噁唑方向的π-π重叠相互作用来实现. 通过分析分子正负离子态的Mulliken电荷发现, 正电荷较多分布在三联苯方向上, 而负电荷较多分布在苯并噁唑方向上. 计算结果表明, 电子和空穴的传输分别在分子相互交叉的不同方向上, 有利于电子和空穴的平衡传输.  相似文献

The geometries, energies, and electronic properties of a series of phosphorescent Pt(II) complexes including FPt, CFPt, COFPt, and NFPt have been characterized within density functional theory DFT calculations which can reproduce and rationalize experimental results. The properties of excited‐states of the Pt(II) complexes were characterized by configuration interaction with singles (CIS) method. The ground‐ and excited‐state geometries were optimized at the B3LYP/LANL2DZ and CIS/LANL2DZ levels, respectively. In addition, we also have performed a triplet UB3LYP optimization for complex FPt and compared it with CIS method in the emission properties. The datum (562.52 nm) of emission wavelength for complex FPt, which were computed based on the triplet UB3LYP optimization excited‐state geometry, is not agreement with the experiment value (500 nm). The absorption and phosphorescence wavelengths were computed based on the optimized ground‐ and excited‐state geometries, respectively, by the time‐dependent density functional theory (TD‐DFT) methods. The results revealed that the nature of the substituent at the phenylpyridine ligand can influence the distributions of HOMO and LUMO and their energies. Moreover, the auxiliary ligand pyridyltetrazole can make the molecular structure present a solid geometry. In addition, the charge transport quality has been estimated approximately by the predicted reorganization energy (λ). Our result also indicates that the substitute groups and different auxiliary ligand not only change the nature of transition but also affect the rate and balance of charge transfer. By summarizing the results, we can conclude that the NFPt is good OLED materials with a solid geometry and a balanced charge transfer rate. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 采用根据连续介质理论和热力学约束平衡态方法得到的非平衡态溶剂化理论,在单球孔穴点偶极模型近似下推导得出了吸收光谱移动的解析公式.用含时密度泛函方法,在B3LYP/cc-pVDZ水平下研究了对硝基苯胺在水溶液中最低的π→π^*跃迁的吸收光谱,利用新的溶剂化光谱移动公式,得到了与实验值-0.98eV符合很好的光谱移动值一0.99eV.  相似文献

用半经验的AM1,abinitio(HF/3-21G,HF/6-31G^*),及密度泛函[B3LYP/6-31G^*,B3LYP/6-311G(d,p)]方法对1,4-苯酯及其阴离子的结构与性质进行了研究。在此基础上用AM1及BLYP/6-31G(d,p)方法对泛醌Q~0,用AM1方法对泛醌Q~1,泛醌Q~2及其阴离子的结构与性质进行了研究。研究结果表明,由于取代基的影响,泛醌的环平面发生了扭曲,环上原子不再位于同一平面上。结构的变化导致了电子分布发生了变化,并由此导致了偶极矩随6位上取代基的增大而增大。随着6位支链的增长,泛醌的电离势逐渐减小而电子亲和势逐渐增大,泛醌传递电子的能力增强。在上述研究的基础上,对1,4-苯醌及泛醌的自交换电子转移反应过程进行了过程,计算了反应的内重组能,溶剂重组能及电子转移速率常数。结果表明内重组能的大小与取代基的长短无直接关系,而与得电子前后醌的结构变化程度密切相关。除高频振动的变化外,低频振动的变化对内重组能也有显著的贡献。计算所得1,4-苯醌自交换电子转移反应速率常数与实验值相符得很好。  相似文献
