The aim of this paper is to introduce and study some quantities connected with monotonicity and bounded variation of real functions. These quantities will also be considered for bounded subsets of spaces of bounded or continuous functions on a compact interval, equipped with the standard supremum norm. Several properties of such quantities are established, and possible applications are briefly sketched. Moreover, some relation with the theory of measures of noncompactness is discussed as well.  相似文献

40-GHz clock modulated signal as a pump to improve the efficiency of four-wave mixing (FWM)-based wavelength conversion in a 26.5-km dispersion shifted fiber (DSF) is investigated. The experimental results demonstrate that the conjugated FWM component has higher intensity with the clock pumping than that with the continuous-wave (CW) light pumping. The improvement of FWM-based wavelength conversion efficiency is negligible when the pump power is less than Brillouin threshold. But when the pump power is greater than Brillouin threshold, the improvement becomes significant and increases with the increment of pump power. The improvement can increase up to 9 dB if pump power reaches 17 dBm.  相似文献

利用脉冲压缩技术,将具有一定初始电压的高阻抗长脉冲形成线对低阻抗短脉冲形成线充电到一定值时,其输出开关导通,在其后的传输线上可以产生高功率短脉冲。给出了脉冲压缩理论分析;前级脉冲驱动源采用GW级纳秒脉冲形成线,其特性阻抗为40 、电长度为3.9 ns,输出脉冲宽度约8 ns;研制了与前级脉冲驱动源匹配的脉冲压缩装置和变阻抗传输线,考虑到脉冲压缩装置低阻抗形成线绝缘击穿和开关导通限制,选取脉压装置形成线特性阻抗6.5 、电长度0.5 ns。利用GW级纳秒脉冲驱动源开展了脉冲压缩实验,得到了输出功率增益达4倍左右的脉宽1.5 ns高功率短脉冲,输出脉冲功率增益与理论值基本相符。  相似文献

The law of entropy increase postulates the existence of irreversible processes in physics: the total entropy of an isolated system can increase, but cannot decrease. The annihilation of an electric current in normal metal with the generation of Joule heat because of a non-zero resistance is a well-known example of an irreversible process. The persistent current, an undamped electric current observed in a superconductor, annihilates after the transition into the normal state. Therefore, this transition was considered as an irreversible thermodynamic process before 1933. However, if this transition is irreversible, then the Meissner effect discovered in 1933 is experimental evidence of a process reverse to the irreversible process. Belief in the law of entropy increase forced physicists to change their understanding of the superconducting transition, which is considered a phase transition after 1933. This change has resulted to the internal inconsistency of the conventional theory of superconductivity, which is created within the framework of reversible thermodynamics, but predicts Joule heating. The persistent current annihilates after the transition into the normal state with the generation of Joule heat and reappears during the return to the superconducting state according to this theory and contrary to the law of entropy increase. The success of the conventional theory of superconductivity forces us to consider the validity of belief in the law of entropy increase.  相似文献

This study derives the closed-form solution for the average increase in vertical stress at the corner of uniform embedded rectangular loadings on cross-anisotropic materials. The solution is obtained by integrating the vertical point load solution of Wang and Liao, which is affected by the dimensions of the loaded rectangular area, the depth of the loading embedment, the depth below the loading, and the five elastic cross-anisotropic engineering constants. Additionally, to estimate the consolidation settlement at a particular cross-anisotropic layer due to embedded rectangular loadings, the average increase in vertical stress is obtained by applying the principle of superposition.  相似文献

Constant amplitude fatigue tests at R = 0.1, conducted on the aircraft aluminum alloy 2024 T3, have revealed an appreciable surface hardness increase of the alloy at the nano- and meso-scale during fatigue. The observed surface hardness changes could be monitored with confidence by means of nanoindentations. The degree of hardening increases with increasing number of fatigue cycles following exponential relations. With increasing fatigue stress level degree of hardening increases as well. The observed results provide a basis for developing concepts to early detect and also monitor fatigue damage accumulation in aluminum aircraft structures based on measurements of the material’s hardness changes by means of nanoindentations.  相似文献

We consider some quantities in the space of functions continuous on a bounded interval, which are related to monotonicity of functions. Based on those quantities we construct a few measures of noncompactness in the mentioned function space. Several properties of those measures are established; among others it is shown that they are regular or “partly” regular measures and equivalent to the Hausdorff measure of noncompactness.  相似文献

The optical emission spectra(atomic hydrogen(Hα,Hβ,Hγ),atomic carbon C(2p3s→2p2:λ=165.7 nm) and radical CH(A2△→X2П:λ=420-440 nm))in the gas phase process of the diamond film growth from a gas mixture of CH4 and H2 by the technology of electron-assisted chemical vapor deposition (EACVD)have been investigated by using Monte Carlo simulation.The results show that the growth rate may be enhanced by the substrate bias due to the increase of atomic hydrogen concentration and the mean temperature of electrons.And a method of determining the mean temperature of electrons in the plasma in-situ iS given.The strong dependence on substrate temperature of the quality of diamond film mainly attributes to the change of gas phase process near the substrate surface.  相似文献

容重增加法作为一种边坡稳定分析方法本身具有一定的缺陷,计算结果常常偏差较大,甚至可能无法得出结果。针对容重增加法的缺陷,定量分析了容重增加法的误差来源,并通过公式推导对改进容重增加法的原理进行了分析。针对改进的容重增加法,设计了不同参数的边坡模型,将容重增加法、强度折减法与改进的容重增加法进行对比分析,研究改进方法的改进效果。然后,利用ACADS边坡稳定分析例题,验证了改进方法在非均质边坡中的应用效果。最后,将改进前后的容重增加法运用到土工离心模型试验的结果分析中,并将试验结果与模拟结果进行对比分析,验证了用改进的容重增加法分析离心模型试验结果的可行性。本文的研究为容重增加法改进方法的应用提供了理论依据,并为土工离心模型试验的相关分析提供了参考。  相似文献

基于74mm直径分离式Hopkinson杆(SHPB)实验平台进行了混凝土杆的一维应力层裂实验.采用超高速相机(采样频率:2 $\mu$s/frame)结合数字图像相关法(DIC),记录混凝土试件中的动态位移场实时变化情况,探讨了混凝土在拉伸断裂过程中的表面位移场及速度场演化规律.针对实验中出现的多重层裂现象,基于一维应力波传播理论,指出各个位置在发生层裂时,其最大拉应力均由透射压缩波与反射拉伸波叠加而成,各处层裂发生时均处于一维应力状态.并提出了根据层裂位置左右两点速度趋势变化判断层裂发生时刻的判据.该判据可以给出所有层裂的起裂时间,结合DIC分析直接给出了混凝土多重层裂应变.结果显示混凝土的拉伸强度具有明显的应变率效应,在30 s$^{-1}$的应变率下,其拉伸强度的动态增强因子(DIF)可以达到5.与传统的波叠加法和自由面速度回跳法相比,DIC全场分析法不受加载波形限制,可以精确给出每个层裂的位置和起裂时间,从而得到试件在高应变率加载下不同位置处的断裂应变、拉伸强度及相应应变率,提高了测量效率.   相似文献
