The reactivities and reaction rates of the thiol–ene coupling reaction of 2‐ethyl‐(hydroxymethyl)‐1,3‐propanediol trimercapto acetate and 2‐ethyl‐(hydroxymethyl)‐1,3‐propanediol trimercapto propionate with two common unsaturated fatty acid methyl esters (methyl oleate and methyl linoleate) were evaluated. The reactions were monitored with real‐time IR and 1H NMR, which both showed that the mercapto acetate was more reactive than the mercapto propionate. Both thiols were more prone to add to the monounsaturated methyl oleate than to methyl linoleate, which contained two unconjugated double bonds. According to bond energy calculations, the thiol hydrogen of mercapto acetate was somewhat more difficult to abstract than the hydrogen of mercapto propionate. Consequently, the formed S? C bond in the acetate case was stronger than in the propionate case, and so the equilibrium was more shifted toward the addition products. The real‐time IR measurements also showed that the cis unsaturation in methyl oleate isomerized much more quickly than that in methyl linoleate, and this also had an impact on the overall addition rate of the thiols because a trans unsaturation was more reactive than a cis unsaturation. The higher isomerization rates in the oleate systems, compared with those of the linoleate systems, was suggested to be due to a more restricted rotation along the C? C bond of the reacted unsaturation in linoleate. This study showed the importance of trans unsaturations in obtaining reasonable reaction rates in thiol–ene reactions with fatty acid derivatives. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The review describes the mechanism of chiral discrimination of racemic amines upon crystallization and the induction of chirality in organic reactions by using them as chiral auxiliaries. In order to form conglomerates, which can be resolved into the two enantiomers upon alternative seeding, both formation and packing of 21-columns are essentially very important. On the other hand, in order to achieve high efficiency in resolution through diastereomeric salt formation, which is the most practical method, one of a pair of diastereomeric salts derived from a racemic amine and an enantiomerically pure resolving agent should at least have two 21-columns and planar boundary surfaces in its crystal structure. On the basis of this knowledge, we developed several artificial chiral auxiliaries such as erythro-2-amino-1,2-diphenylethanol,cis-2-amino-1-acenaphthenol, andcis-2-amino-3,3-dimethyl-1-indanol. These were found to be very efficient chiral auxiliaries in asymmetric inductions: alkylation of chiral imines, catalytic borane-reduction, and alkylation of chiral N-acylated oxazolidinone.  相似文献

Mössbauer spectra of Co x Mn1?x Fe2O4 and Ni x Mn1?x Fe2O4 ferrites withx values ranging from 0·1 to 0·8 in steps of 0·1 have been recorded at room temperature. All spectra exhibit well-defined Zeeman hyperfine patterns. It has been observed that hyperfine field at Fe3+ nucleus increases more rapidly by nickel substitution than by cobalt substitution. This has been explained in terms of exchange interactions and cation distribution in the spinels. Hyperfine fields, isomer shifts and quadrupole splittings have been determined.  相似文献

The Suzuki (for O1 – O3 ) and Stille (for O4 ) coupling polymerization of 2‐(phenylazo)imidazole bearing the benzyl protecting group at the 1‐position gave conjugated oligomers. The transformation from the neutral imidazole in the conjugated oligomer O2 , consisted of the alternating 2,5‐didecyl‐1,4‐phenylene unit, to the cationic imidazolium salt O2S was performed. Depending on the chemical structure of coupling partners, the absorption maximum of conjugated oligomers showed red shift or blue shift from that of the model compound M with the benzene ring at the 4,5‐positions. The absorption maximum wavelength of the cationic conjugated oligomer O2S showed a blue shift from that of the neutral conjugated oligomer O2 . The trans‐to‐cis photoisomerization of the azoimidazole unit in conjugated oligomers was observed by irradiating the light at 436 nm, and the conversion degree to the cis structure had a rough correlation with the maximum absorption wavelength of materials. The trans‐to‐cis photoisomerization in the film state was sluggish. On the other hand, the cis‐to‐trans thermal isomerization of the azoimidazole unit was confirmed and the absorbance returned to the initial state before the photoisomerization. The trans‐to‐cis photoisomerization of the cationic conjugated oligomer O2S required large energy, and the prolonged light irradiation might decompose the azoimidazole unit. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Polymerization of 2‐pentene with [ArN?C(An)C(An)·NAr)NiBr2 (Ar?2,6‐iPr2C6H3)] ( 1‐Ni) /M‐MAO catalyst was investigated. A reactivity between trans‐2‐pentene and cis‐2‐pentene on the polymerization was quite different, and trans‐2‐pentene polymerized with 1‐Ni /M‐MAO catalyst to give a high molecular weight polymer. On the other hand, the polymerization of cis‐2‐butene with 1‐Ni /M‐MAO catalyst did not give any polymeric products. In the polymerization of mixture of trans‐ and cis‐2‐pentene with 1‐Ni /M‐MAO catalyst, the Mn of the polymer increased with an increase of the polymer yields. However, the relationship between polymer yield and the Mn of the polymer did not give a strict straight line, and the Mw/Mn also increased with increasing polymer yield. This suggests that side reactions were induced during the polymerization. The structures of the polymer obtained from the polymerization of 2‐ pentene with 1‐Ni /M‐MAO catalyst consists of ? CH2? CH2? CH(CH2CH3)? , ? CH2? CH2? CH2? CH(CH3)? , ? CH2? CH(CH2CH2CH3)? , and methylene sequence ? (CH2)n? (n ≥ 5) units, which is related to the chain walking mechanism. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Chiral and racemic Salen-type Schiff-base ligands (H2L1, H2L2 and H2L3), condensed between D-(+)- and D,L-camphoric diamine (also known as (1R,3S)-1,2,2-trimethylcyclopentane-1,3-diamine) and 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde or 3,5-dibromo-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde with a 1:2 molar ratio, have been synthesized and characterized. A series of new nickel(II), palladium(II) and copper(II) complexes of these chiral and racemic ligands exhibiting different coordination number (4, 5 and 6) have been characterized with the formulae [NiL1]·CH3OH (3), [NiL1]·H2O (4), [NiL2] (5), [PdL2] (6), [Cu2(L2)2(H2O)] (7) and [NiL3(DMF)(H2O)] (8). Different solvent molecules in 3 and 4 (methanol and water molecules) as well as different apical ligands in 7 and 8 (water and DMF molecules) are involved in different O–H···O hydrogen bonding interactions to further stabilize the structures. UV–Vis (UV–Vis), circular dichroism (CD) spectra and thermogravimetric (TG) analyses for the metal complexes have also been carried out.  相似文献

A CGE method for monitoring the disulfide isomer distribution characteristic of IgG2 MAbs is presented. Disulfide heterogeneity of MAbs has been studied using various chromatographic and electrophoretic methods. Although CGE operates using a different selectivity mechanism from that of sorption chromatographic techniques, similar trends are present in the data, which allow the CGE method to be used as a complementary method for studying disulfide isomer distribution. This article focuses on the optimization of a capillary‐based gel electrophoresis method that can be used to support antibody development including bioprocess optimization, antibody characterization, release, and formulation stability assessment.  相似文献
