Different strategies for the synthesis of 2′-hydroxy-4′-methylsulfonylacetophenone are reported in the present paper. This compound is considered as a key synthon for the synthesis of new flavonoid derivatives designed as potential cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors. The retrosynthetic approach via 3′-methylsulfonylacetophenone, which included three synthetic pathways, did not allow us to obtain the expected compound. However, a synthesis from 3-mercaptophenol led to the desired acetophenone in three steps: thiophenol methylation, Friedel–Crafts acetylation and oxidation of the sulphide to the corresponding sulfone. The desired compound, 2′-hydroxy-4′-methylsulfonylacetophenone, will be used as a synthon for the preparation of novel flavonoid derivatives, such as 2′-hydroxychalcones, flavanones, flavones, and flavonols.  相似文献

The inhibition effect of N,N′-phosphonomethylglycine (PMG) and vinyl phosphonic acid (VPA) on the 3% NaCl acidic solution corrosion of carbon steel iron was studied at different immersion times by potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy, and computational methods. It is found from the polarization studies that PMG and VPA behave as mixed-type inhibitors in NaCl. Values of charge transfer resistance (Rct) and double layer capacitance (Cdl) in the absence and presence of inhibitors are determined. The PMG and VPA inhibitors were capable of inhibiting the corrosion process up to ≈91% and ≈85%, respectively. In the presence of PMG, the synergic effect of chlorine ions was observed. Density functional theory (DFT) was engaged to establish the adsorption site of PMG, VPA, and their deprotonated states. For studied compounds, the resulted values of ELUMO, EHOMO, energy gap (∆E), dipole moment (μ), electronic hardness (η), global softness (σ), electrophilic index (ω), and the electronic potential map are in concordance with the experimental data results regarding their corrosion inhibition behavior and adsorption on the metal surface.  相似文献

A fast and convenient approach to the synthesis of fully substituted 1,3,4-oxadiazoles via three-component reaction of aromatic carboxylic acids, acenaphthoquinone, and (N-isocyanimino)triphenylphosphorane under ultrasound irradiation is described. Furthermore, a series of compounds were synthesized and characterized by melting point, IR, NMR and MS. Utilization of easy reaction conditions, very high to excellent yields, and short reaction times makes this manipulation potentially very useful.  相似文献

Naturally occurring muraymycin nucleoside antibiotics represent a promising class of novel antibacterial agents. The structural complexity suggests the investigation of simplified analogues as potential lead structures, which can then be further optimized towards highly potent antimicrobials. Herein we report studies on muraymycin‐derived potential lead structures lacking an aminoribose motif found in most naturally occurring muraymycins. We have identified a 5′‐defunctionalized motif to be ideal in terms of stability and chemical accessibility and have synthesized a full‐length muraymycin analogue based on this structure using a novel fully stereocontrolled route. The obtained 5′‐deoxy analogue of the natural product muraymycin C4 showed good inhibitory properties towards the bacterial target protein MraY, sufficient pharmacokinetic stability and no cytotoxicity against human cells, thus making it a promising lead for antibacterial drug development.  相似文献

Fluorination reactions are essential to modern medicinal chemistry, thus providing a means to block site‐selective metabolic degradation of drugs and access radiotracers for positron emission tomography imaging. Despite current sophistication in fluorination reagents and processes, the fluorination of unactivated C? H bonds remains a significant challenge. Reported herein is a convenient and economic process for direct fluorination of unactivated C? H bonds that exploits the hydrogen abstracting ability of a decatungstate photocatalyst in combination with the mild fluorine atom transfer reagent N‐fluorobenzenesulfonimide. This operationally straightforward reaction provides direct access to a wide range of fluorinated organic molecules, including structurally complex natural products, acyl fluorides, and fluorinated amino acid derivatives.  相似文献

The hydrogenation of oximes and oxime ethers is usually hampered by N? O bond cleavage, hence affording amines rather than hydroxylamines. The boron Lewis acid B(C6F5)3 is found to catalyze the chemoselective hydrogenation of oxime ethers at elevated or even room temperature under 100 bar dihydrogen pressure. The use of the triisopropylsilyl group as a protecting group allows for facile liberation of the free hydroxylamines.  相似文献

‘Mencía’/‘Jaen’ it’s an important red grape variety, exclusive of the Iberian Peninsula, used in wine production namely in Bierzo D.O. and Dão D.O., respectively. This work evaluates the effect of the two different “terroirs” on the phenolic composition and chromatic characteristics of ‘Mencía’/‘Jaen’ monovarietal wines produced at an industrial scale in the same vintage. Using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Partial Least Squares-Discrimination Analysis (PLS-DA), and Orthogonal PLS-DA (OPLS-DA) it was found that peonidin-3-coumaroylglucoside, petunidin-3-glucoside, malvidin-3-coumaroylglucoside, peonidin-3-glucoside, malvidin-3-acetylglucoside, malvidin-3-glucoside, and ferulic acid were the phenolic compounds with the highest differences between the two regions. PLS regression allowed to correlate the differences in lightness (L*) and redness (a*) of wines from ‘Jaen’ and ‘Mencía’ to differences in colored anthocyanins, polymeric pigments, total pigments, total anthocyanins, cyanidin-3-acetylglucoside, delphinidin-3-acetylglucoside, delphinidin-3-glucoside, peonidin-3-coumaroylglucoside, petunidin-3-glucoside and malvidin-3-glucoside in wines, and the colorless ferulic, caffeic, and coutaric acids, and ethyl caffeate. The wines a* values were more affected by colored anthocyanins, ferulic acid, total anthocyanins, delphinidin-3-acetylglucoside, delphinidin-3-glucoside and petunidin-3-acetylglucoside, and catechin. The positive influence of ferulic acid in the a* values and ferulic, caffeic, coutaric acids, and ethyl caffeate on the L* values can be due to the co-pigmentation phenomena. The higher dryness and lower temperatures during the September nights in this vintage might explain the differences observed in the anthocyanin content and chromatic characteristics of the wines.  相似文献

The elution order of the hop α- and β-acids has been studied under different modes of electrokinetic separation. A model is advanced to explain the shorter migration times of the more hydrophobic β-acids compared to the α-acids in micellar electrokinetic chromatography (MEKC). For quality control of the bitter principles in hops, the ruggedness of electrokinetic separation could be improved by replacing MEKC by microemulsion electrokinetic chromatography (MEEKC).  相似文献
