With the advancement in tissue engineering, researchers are working hard on new techniques to fabricate more advanced scaffolds from biocompatible polymers with enhanced porosity, appropriate mechanical strength, diverse shapes and sizes for potential applications in biomedical field in general and tissue engineering in particular. These techniques include electrospinning, solution blow spinning, centrifugal spinning, particulate leaching (salt leaching), freeze-drying, lithography, self-assembly, phase separation, gas foaming, melt molding, 3-D printing, fiber mesh and solvent casting. In this article we have summarized the scaffold’s fabrication techniques from biocompatible polymers that are reported so far, the recent advances in these techniques, characterization of the physicochemical properties of scaffolds and their potential applications in the biomedical field and tissue engineering. The article will help both newcomers and experts working in the biomedical implant fabrication to not only find their desired information in one document but also understand the fabrication techniques and the parameters that control the success of biocompatible polymeric scaffolds. Furthermore, a static analysis of the work published in all forms on the most innovative techniques is also presented. Constructing heterojunctions between two semiconductors with matched band structure is an effective strategy to acquire high‐efficiency photocatalysts. The S‐scheme heterojunction system has shown great potential in facilitating separation and transfer of photogenerated carriers, as well as acquiring strong photoredox ability. Herein, a 0D/2D S‐Scheme heterojunction material involving CeO2 quantum dots and polymeric carbon nitride (CeO2/PCN) is designed and constructed by in situ wet chemistry with subsequent heat treatment. This S‐scheme heterojunction material shows high‐efficiency photocatalytic sterilization rate (88.1 %) towards Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) under visible‐light irradiation (λ≥420 nm), which is 2.7 and 8.2 times that of pure CeO2 (32.2 %) and PCN (10.7 %), respectively. Strong evidence of S‐scheme charge transfer path is verified by theoretical calculations, in situ irradiated X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and electron paramagnetic resonance. 相似文献

Cancer possesses normoxic and hypoxia microenvironments with different levels of oxygen, needing different efficacies of photothermal and photodynamic therapies. It is important to precisely tune the photothermal and photodynamic effects of phototherapy nano‐agents for efficient cancer treatment. Now, a series of copolymeric nanoparticles (PPy‐Te NPs) were synthesized in situ by controlled oxidative copolymerization with different ratios of pyrrole to tellurophene by FeCl3. The photothermal and photodynamic effects of semiconducting nano‐agents under the first near‐infrared (NIR) irradiation were precisely and systematically tuned upon simply varying the molar ratio of the pyrrole to tellurophene. The PPy‐Te NPs were used for cancer treatment in mice, exhibiting excellent biocompatibility and therapeutic effect. 以天然牛皮为原料,经胃蛋白酶处理制得水解胶原;通过胶原-黑荆树单宁-醛反应制备了胶原-单宁树脂(C-TR)吸附材料,并表征了材料的形貌,测定了材料的比表面积、热变形温度等性质。系统研究了C-TR对水溶液中UO22 的吸附特性。结果表明,C-TR对UO22 有较强的吸附能力。当温度为303K、pH=5.0、UO22 的初始浓度2.5mmol.L-1时,吸附容量达到1.49mmolU/g。升高温度,平衡吸附量增大。pH对吸附容量的影响较大,适宜的pH范围为5.0-6.0。C-TR对UO22 的吸附平衡符合Freundlich方程。吸附动力学可用拟二级速度方程来描述。C-TR对UO22 的吸附基本不受NaCl影响,该吸附材料可望用于海水中铀的富集和分离。 相似文献

A new kind of adsorbent Li(1+x)AlxTi(2-x)(PO4)3 was synthesized by solid state reaction method. The influence of the content of doping aluminum on the adsorbent Li(1+x)AlxTi(2-x)(PO4)3 was investigated by XRD, while the morphology of powders was observed by SEM. The investigation of the adsorption properties showed that the adsorbent can selectively adsorb sodium with the adsorption capacity of 11.76 mg/g. A simple, rapid and reliable high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method was developed and validated for the determination of curcumin in rat plasma. Plasma was precipitated with acetonitrile after addition of the internal standard (IS), 4-hydroxybenzophenone. Separation was achieved on a Waters muBondapak C(18) column (3.9 x 300 mm, 5 microm) using acetonitrile (55%) and citric buffer, pH 3.0 (45%) as the mobile phase (flow rate = 1.0 mL/min). The UV detection wavelength was 300 and 428 nm for IS and curcumin, respectively. The extraction efficiencies were 97.08, 95.69 and 94.90% for 50, 200 and 1000 ng/mL of curcumin in rat plasma, respectively. The calibration curve was linear over the range 0.02-1 microg/mL with a correlation coefficient of r(2) > 0.999. The intra- and inter-day coefficients of variation were less than 13%, and mean intra- and inter-day errors were less than +/-6% at 50, 200 and 1000 ng/mL of curcumin. This assay was successfully applied to the pharmacokinetic studies of both solubilized curcumin and its polymeric micellar formulation in rats. It was found that polymeric micelles increased the half-life of curcumin 162-fold that of solubilized curcumin and increased the volume of distribution (Vd(ss)) by 70-fold. 相似文献
