An optical biosensor for the determination of hydrogen peroxide based on immobilized horseradish peroxidase is described. The fluorescence of the dimeric product of the enzyme catalysed oxidation of homovanillic acid is utilized to determine the concentration of H2O2. The membrane-bound enzyme is attached to a bifurcated fibre bundle permitting excitation and detection of the fluorescence by a fluorometer. The response of the sensor is linear from 1 to 130 M hydrogen peroxide; the coefficient of variation is 3%. The sensor is stable for more than 10 weeks. The operating pH for maximal sensor response is 8.15. This allows the sensor to be used in combination with oxidase reactions producing hydrogen peroxide, as is demonstrated with a co-immobilized lactate oxidase-horseradish peroxidase optode for the determination of L-lactate. The fluorescence intensity of this sensor depends linearly on the concentration of lactate between 3 and 200 M and a throughput of 10 samples per hour is possible. The precision is in the same range as that of the monoenzyme optode. The lifetime of the bienzyme sensor for lactate is considerably shorter than that of the peroxidase sensor; it is limited by the stability of the immobilized lactate oxidase enzyme. 以30%的双氧水为氧化剂, 钨酸钠与含N或O的双齿有机配体(草酸)形成的络合物为催化剂, 在无有机溶剂、无相转移剂的条件下, 研究了环己酮氧化制己二酸的反应. 研究结果表明, 用廉价的草酸为配体, 最佳反应条件为钨酸钠∶草酸∶环己酮∶30%的双氧水的物质的量比为2.0∶3.3∶100∶350, 在92 ℃下反应12 h, 可制得80.6%的己二酸; 用GC-MS跟踪了氧化过程中三种主要物质环己酮、己内酯及己二酸含量随反应时间的变化关系, 提出了其主要氧化机理为环己酮首先经Beayer-Villiger氧化反应生成己内酯, 己内酯进一步氧化成己二酸. 相似文献

Photocatalytic oxidation of water is a promising method to realize large-scale H2O2 production without a hazardous and energy-intensive process. In this study, we introduce a Pt/TiO2(anatase) photocatalyst to construct a simple and environmentally friendly system to achieve simultaneous H2 and H2O2 production. Both H2 and H2O2 are high-value chemicals, and their separation is automatic. Even without the assistance of a sacrificial agent, the system can reach an efficiency of 7410 and 5096 μmol g–1 h–1 (first 1 h) for H2 and H2O2, respectively, which is much higher than that of a commercial Pt/TiO2(anatase) system that has a similar morphology. Alkanes (cyclohexane, hexane, heptane isomers) are effectively oxidized in CH3CN at 20–70°C by hydrogen peroxide when catalyzed by a Bu4NVO3-pyrazine-2-carboxylic acid system. The oxidative polycondensation of 4-[(pyridin-3-ylimino)methyl]phenol (4-PIMP) with O2, H2O2, and NaOCl was studied in an aqueous alkaline medium between 50°C and 90°C. Oligo-4-[(pyridin-3-ylimino)methyl]phenol (O-4-PIMP)
prepared was characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, FT-IR, UV-VIS, size-exclusion chromatography, and elemental and thermal analyses techniques. At the optimum reaction
conditions, the yield of O-4-PIMP was 18.9%, 39.4%, and 46.8% using H2O2, O2, and NaOCl oxidant, respectively. According to the TG analysis, the initial degradation temperature of O-4-PIMP was 218°C,
which was by 50°C higher than that of 4-PIMP. Thermal analyses of 4-PIMP and O-4-PIMP were carried out in N2 atmosphere at 15–1000°C. The highest occupied molecular orbital, the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital, and electrochemical

Chitosan samples were irradiated by 60Co γ-rays in the presence of hydrogen peroxide with radiation dose from 10 kGy to 100 kGy. The degradation was monitored by gel permeation chromatography (GPC), revealing the existence of a synergetic effect on the degradation. Structures of the degraded products were characterized with Fourier-transform infrared spectra (FT-IR), ultraviolet-visible spectral (UV-vis) analysis, and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Results showed that the crystallinity of chitosan decreases with degradation, and the crystalline state of water-soluble chitosan is entirely different from that of water-insoluble chitosan. An elemental analysis method was employed to investigate changes in the element content of chitosan after degradation.
