A macrocyclic azocalix[4]arene (1) based ester derivative was synthesized. The single crystals of azocalix[4]arene were produced by slow evaporation of concentrated ethyl acetate solutions. These single crystals were exposed to 60Co gamma rays with a dose rate of 0.980 kGy h‐1 for 48 and 72 h to produce a stable free radical. Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) measurements were performed in three mutually perpendicular planes of the single crystal in the magnetic field, in addition, temperature dependence of the EPR signal was studied between 120 K and 450 K. The spectra were found to be temperature and angular dependent. Analysis based on the spectra recorded showed that a free radical was formed by fission of a C–H bond. This radical is described as ?CaHCbH3 The averages of the principal values of the hyperfine parameters and g‐factor are: g = 2.0034, AHa = 1.28 mT, AH1=H2 = 1.00 mT, and AH3 = 0.49 mT. The proton arrangement around SO4 units in K3H(SO4)2 (KHS) was studied in detail by X-band CW EPR spectra of CrO43− paramagnetic centre incorporated into KHS during the crystal growth process. The EPR data prove the theoretical model of coherent motion of protons and SO4 units at the fast-proton conducting phase proposed by Ito and Kamimura. 相似文献

Photo-induced charge transfer and its kinetics were investigated in Bi12SiO20 in 10–300 K temperature range, using EPR of Fe3+ centre, underin situ illumination with copper vapour laser (CVL). The decay kinetics was found to follow double exponential behaviour. Relaxation
of the photo-induced electron transfer to the preillumination condition occurred even at 10 K. Shallow traps were, therefore,

Films of polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate, and polyamine-6 implanted with B+ and N+ ions with an energy of 100 keV are investigated by an EPR method in a dose interval of 1·1014–1·1017 cm−2. It is shown that paramagnetic centers with g=2.0025 formed in the implanted polymers have a nature similar to the nature
of paramagnetic centers of pyrolized and initially conducting polymers. Correspondence of the character of the variation in
paramagnetic characteristics of the modified polymers to the model proposed earlier for the formation of pyrocarbon “drops”
in ion implantation is revealed. The relaxation times for paramagnetic centers in the implanted polymer films are calculated
and assumptions are made about the formation of a quasi-two-dimensional electron gas as well as the possibility of magnetic
ordering in polymer-film layers modified by high-dosage implantation. The effect of oxygen on the electron states of the implanted
polymer specimens is studied.

The g factors g‖,g⊥ and hyperfine structure constants A‖,A⊥ for two trigonal Co2+ centers (i.e.,Co2+ in Cd2+ (I) and Cd2+ (II) sites) in CsCdCl3:Co2+ crystals are calculated from the high-order perturbation formulas based on the cluster approach.In the calculation,the contributionsfrom covalency effect and configuration interaction effect are considered and the parameters related to both effects are obtained from the optical spectrum and the structure data of the studied system.The results are in good agreement with the observed values. 相似文献

SrAl12O19:Pr3+, Ti4+ phosphor suitable for field emission displays is prepared by the wet chemical gel-carbonate method and the mechanism of enhancement in red photoluminescence (PL) intensity with Ti4+ therein has been investigated. The PL spectra of Pr3+ show both 1D2-3H4 and 3P0-3H6 emission in the red region with very weak intensity when excited at 355 nm. The emission intensity has increased by about 100 times at room temperature in the compositional range SrAl12−xTixO19+x/2:Pr3+, with 0.1≤x≤0.3 in comparison to Ti-free SrAl12O19:Pr3+. TEM investigations show the presence of exsolved nanophase of SrAl8Ti3O19, the precipitation of which is preceded by the presence of defect centers at the interfacial regions between the semicoherent transient phase and the parent SrAl12O19 matrix. The presence of transitional nanophase and the associated defects modify the excitation-emission process by way of formation of electronic sub-levels at lower energy (3.5 eV) than the band gap of SrAl12O19 (∼7 eV) followed by non-resonance energy transfer to Pr3+ level, leading to magnetic-dipole related red emission with enhanced intensity. The PL intensity of Pr3+ decreases at high Ti4+ concentrations (x>0.3) due to higher extent of segregation of non-emissive SrAl8Ti3O19:Pr3+ phase. 相似文献

We deduce new expressions for g-factors of the 3d9 ions with a compressional tetragonal symmetry, in which we consider not only the contribution from the spin-orbit coupling of the central transition metal ion but also that of the ligand orbits as well as the admixture of 2B1g into 2A1g (ground state). By using the new formulae, the electron paramagnetic resonance g-factors for NaCl:Ni+(I) are studied. Thus, the puzzle that the g‖-shift is positive is reasonably explained. 相似文献

Single crystal EPR studies of Cu(II) incorporated in magnesium rubidium sulphate hexahydrate are carried out at RT and 77 K. Since the hyperfine lines are not resolved at RT, single crystal rotations have been carried out at 77 K. The spin Hamiltonian parameters calculated from the 77 K spectra are: g11=2.133, g22=2.137, g33=2.327, A11=0.01, A22=1.44 and . The impurity ion occupies an interstitial position in this crystal lattice, which is not very common for copper ion. In addition, the low hyperfine coupling constant is explained by considering an admixture of dx2-y2 ground state with dz2 excited state. Bonding parameters, κ=0.254, , α2=0.706, α=0.8406 have also been calculated. The present study has helped to understand the static nature of JT, for which the present system is an example. 相似文献
