Crossed laser molecular beam configuration was used to study the photoionization of U and UO by the UV-lines of an argon ion laser. Photoionization efficiencies of both U and UO were found to be line sensitive. Photoionization by the 3638 Å line was observed for the first time. Uranium atom ionization efficiency being higher for the 3345 Å and 3511 Å groups of lines, while UO ionization efficiency being maximum for the 3638 Å line. Dependence of photoion signal on laser power and relative photoionization efficiencies of the two isotopic species of uranium are also investigated. 相似文献

VOCl3-Et3Al2C13(chlorinated activator) catalysts have been employed for the polymerization of ethylene at T between 15 and 85° in n-hexane. Using butylperchlorocrotonate as the activator, the following catalyst efficiencies (g polymerization, hr, atmosphere ethylene in the cap gas) were achieved: 106,1 MFI = 0-00; 105,8, e.g. MFI = 1 0 (with 9 per cent H2 present in the cap gas) and 106–9 MFI = 0?4 (with 44 mmole/1 styrene in the hexane medium). Reactions between the aluminium alkyl and the activator molecules produced other chlorinated species of high average activator effectiveness. The catalyst system could be reactivated by further additions of Et3Al2Cl3. The minimum value of the polymerization propagation rate constant is estimated to be 10122?6x10,461 cm3/mole sec. 相似文献

The NMR-MOUSE is a mobile sensor for single-sided NMR inspection of organic materials which takes advantage of the principles of magnetic resonance and inside-out-NMR. Historical books dating from the 17th century were measured at different points by positioning the NMR-MOUSE on the paper. Different degrees of paper degradation can be discriminated from the regularized inverse Laplace transform of the envelope of the acquired echo signals. For the first time the degradation of historical paper was characterized entirely nondestructively by NMR. As a contribution to current preservation efforts, NMR shows great promise for future use in damage assessment of historical documents. 相似文献

Two flame spray methods, emulsion combustion method (ECM) and flame spray pyrolysis (FSP), were compared for synthesis of pure and mixed SiO2 and ZnO nanoparticles. The effect of silicon precursor was investigated using liquid hexamethyldisiloxane (HMDSO) or SiO2 sol, while for ZnO zinc acetate (ZA) was used. Gas phase reaction took place when using HMDSO as Si precursor, forming nanoparticles, whereas the SiO2 sol used as Si source was not evaporated in the flame, creating large aggregates of the sol particles (e.g. 1 m). The FSP of ZA produced ZnO homogeneous nanoparticles. Lower flame temperatures in ECM than in FSP resulted in mixed gas and liquid phase reaction, forming ZnO particles with inhomogeneous sizes. The FSP of HMDSO and ZA led to intimate gas-phase mixing of Zn and Si, suppressing each other's particle growth, forming nanoparticles of 19 nm in BET-equivalent average primary particle diameter. Nucleation of ZnO and SiO2 occurred independently by ECM of HMDSO and ZA as well as by FSP of the SiO2 sol and ZA, creating a ZnO and SiO2 mixture. The reaction of ZnO with SiO2 was likely to be enhanced by ECM of the SiO2 sol and ZA where both Zn and Si species were not evaporated completely, resulting in ZnO, -willemite and Zn1.7SiO4 mixed phase. 相似文献

Superconducting Tl-based films were prepared on a LaAlO3 single crystal substrate. Spray pyrolysis of Ba, Ca and Cu nitrate solutions was used for deposition of the precursor films.
They were subsequently ex-situ thallinated in flowing oxygen (open system). While the superconducting Tl-2212 phase formed at an annealing temperature
of 880°C, thallination at 900°C led to the formation of a Tl-2223 /Tl-2212 mixture. The amount of Tl-2223 increased with prolonged
thallination, whereas the Tl-2212 phase progressively disappeared. Films prepared in such a manner were c-oriented and contained only low amounts of non-superconducting impurities. The resulting samples were characterized by XRD
and SEM and their T
C
values were determined by resistive four-point measurements. They showed critical temperatures in the range of T
ON
= 125–135 K, T
C0 = 91–93 K. Differences between the composition and properties of the obtained films and those thallinated in closed systems
under 50 kPa of oxygen are discussed in this paper. Results show that the Tl-2212 → Tl-2223 transformation proceeds at a slower
rate under flowing oxygen than in a closed system.

Effects of fine fuel droplets on a laminar flame stabilized in a partially prevaporized spray stream

A partially prevaporized spray burner was developed to investigate the interaction between fuel droplets and a flame. Monodispersed partially prevaporized ethanol sprays with narrow diameter distribution were generated by the condensation method using rapid pressure reduction of a saturated ethanol vapor–air mixture. A tilted flat flame was stabilized at the nozzle exit using a hot wire. Particle tracking velocimetry (PTV) was applied to measurements of the droplet velocity; the laminar burning velocity was obtained from gas velocity derived from the droplet velocity. Observations were made of flames in partially prevaporized spray streams with mean droplet diameters of 7 μm and the liquid equivalence ratios of 0.2; the total equivalence ratio was varied. In all cases, a sharp vaporization plane was observed in front of the blue flame. Flame oscillation was observed on the fuel-rich side. At strain rates under 50 s−1, the change in the burning velocity with the strain rate is small in fuel-lean spray streams. In spray streams of 0.7 and 0.8 in the total equivalence ratio, burning velocity increases with strain rates of greater than 50 s−1. However, in spray streams with 0.9 and 1.0 in the total equivalence ratio, burning velocity decreases as the strain rate increases. At strain rates greater than 80 s−1, burning velocity decreases with an increased gas equivalence ratio. The effect of mean droplet diameter, and the entry length of droplets into a flame on the laminar burning velocity, were also investigated to interpret the effect of the strain rate on the laminar burning velocity of partially prevaporized sprays. 相似文献

采用喷雾热解法制备红色荧光粉LiEu(SiO2)1/6W2O8。研究了反应温度、前驱体溶液浓度、载气流速对实验结果的影响。通过扫描电镜、X射线衍射、激发和发射光谱对所制样品进行了研究,发现样品颗粒呈实心类球形、结晶度好、表面光滑、发光强度较高、粒径平均1.5μm左右且分布较窄。该类荧光粉激发主峰位于396nm,发射主峰位于615nm。LiEu(SiO2)1/6W2O8发光的色坐标为:x=0.667 9,y=0.3310,与NTSC的红色标准基本一致,该荧光粉色纯度非常高,适用于制造紫光芯片激发的白光LED。用喷雾热解法制备红色荧光粉LiEu(SiO2)1/6W2O8的研究尚未见报道。 相似文献

The aim of the article was to develop stable and safe eco-friendly microcapsules and evaluate their physicochemical properties and their efficiency to protect a jackfruit extract. Eco-friendly microcapsules were produced by ultrasound and spray drying using only three safe ingredients: sucrose ester (SE), miglyol and maltodextrin (DE = 10). Some physicochemical properties, particle morphology, FT-IR, differential scanning calorimetry and antiproliferative activity were determined for microcapsules loaded or not with the jackfuit extract. The results revealed that the encapsulation process by spray drying produced stable microcapsules, with adequate physicochemical and fluid properties for a powder product. The cell viability on the proliferation of M12.C3.F6 cell line was not affected by powder microcapsules without jackfruit extract, indicating that capsules are not toxic for these cells. However, microcapsules with jackfruit extract (100 μg/ml) were able to inhibit significantly the proliferation of M12.C3.F6 cells. These microcapsules can be used for the protection of different compounds sensitive to light, oxygen and/or heat and displaying a very low aqueous solubility. 相似文献
