In this study, nano hydroxyapatite doped with yttrium (2.5, 5, and 7.5 mol%) and fluoride (2.5 mol%) ions were synthesized by precipitation method and sintered at 900°C, 1100°C, and 1300°C. Raman spectroscopy was applied to track the structural modifications in pure and doped hydroxyapatites. The results showed that the main characteristic band of pure hydroxyapatite at 963 cm?1 was not affected significantly by ion doping but exhibited higher intensity with increasing sintering temperature. Due to fluoride substitution, the 1048 and 1034 cm?1 bands of pure hydroxyapatites appeared with a wavenumber shift in the spectra of ion-doped hydroxyapatites. The 333 cm?1 band of pure hydroxyapatite disappeared and an additional calcium–fluor bond at 322 cm?1 was observable in ion-doped hydroxyapatites. Two fluorescence bands at 770 and 697 cm?1, which were also observed in the spectra of pure hydroxyapatites, shifted to higher wavenumbers in the spectra of ion-doped hydroxyapatites. This was considered to result from the perturbation in the hexagonal structure of hydroxyapatite due to yttrium and fluoride codoping.  相似文献

The problem of chemical order of polyamide-hydrazides prepared from terephthaloyl chloride with an unsymmetrical monomer, p-aminobenzhydrazide, is discussed. An NMR method for identifying the molecular structure of species formed in the early stages of poly condensation has enabled the course of a polymerization to be followed during this time and the final degree of order to be predicted qualitatively. These studies have provided a demonstration that the structure of these polymers can be controlled to a significant degree by appropriate variations in experimental conditions. But even under the most adverse conditions usually employed, poly amide-hydrazides are found to be at least “partially ordered” copolymers. The techniques developed for this study may find application in the study of other polymer forming reactions with monomers having two functional groups with dissimilar reactivities.  相似文献

Potassium fluoride doped natural zeolite was found to be an efficient and selective solid base catalyst for 1,4-Michael addition. As the spacer length in 1,2-dimethylimidazolium-based dications increases beyond a specific point (six methylene units), they fail in structure-directing towards STW zeolites in any synthetic conditions. These dications can instead produce, under fluoride concentrated conditions, either *BEA [in the case of the eight-methylene-unit structure-directing agent (SDA)] or MWW (ten methylene units) zeolites. For any length of the dication, the default zeolite (MTW) is a relatively dense zeolite containing a unidimensional channel, whereas the zeolite demanding most specificity (STW, *BEA or MWW) is more porous, affording a larger concentration of the dication to be occluded. This work provides the first reported fluoride synthesis of pure silica MWW zeolites. Charge balance of the organic dications in this zeolite was achieved by combining “structural” silanolates, regular “connectivity defects” and occluded fluoride. Molecular mechanics calculations showed a perfect fit of the decamethylenebis(dimethylimidazolium) dication in the sinusoidal intralayer pore system of MWW. The calculations showed also that the dication is able to stabilize the interlayer space without disturbing the hydrogen-bonding system that holds the layers together in the as-made material. The 19F magic-angle spinning (MAS) NMR presented two distinct resonances at −71 and −83 ppm, which, on the basis of DFT calculations, we tentatively assigned to fluoride occluded in [4662] and [415262] cages of the MWW structure, respectively. The same DFT study determines a different chemical shift of one methyl 13C nuclear magnetic resonance according to the imidazolium ring residing in the sinusoidal channels or in the large cup cavities, thus explaining an experimentally observed splitting of that resonance.  相似文献

The aim of this work was i) to develop a hydrothermal, low-temperature synthesis protocol affording the upconverting hexagonal phase NaYF4 with suitable dopants while adhering to the “green chemistry” standards and ii) to explore the effect that different parameters have on the products. In optimizing the synthesis protocol, short reaction times and low temperatures (below 150 °C) were considered. Yb3+ and Er3+ ions were chosen as dopants for the NaYF4 material. Within the context of the second goal, parameters including nature of the precursors, treatment temperature, and treatment time were investigated to afford a pure hexagonal crystalline phase, both in the doped and undoped materials. To fully explore the synthesis results, the prepared materials were characterized from a structural (XRD), compositional (XPS, ICP-MS), and morphological (SEM) point of view. The upconverting properties of the compounds were confirmed by photoluminescence measurements.  相似文献

Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) has reached the second largest production volume of fluoropolymers in recent years, and its popularity can be ascribed to high thermal stability and chemical inertness combined with its ferroelectric behavior. Copolymerization of vinylidene fluoride with other monomers leads to a wide variety of products with modified or improved properties. Besides commercially available fluorinated random copolymers, well‐defined block‐, graft, and alternating copolymers based on PVDF received more attention in recent years. PVDF‐containing block copolymers that may self‐assemble into well‐ordered morphologies are of particular interest, being potential precursors for functional nanostructured materials applicable in membranes and electronics. This Highlight provides an overview of the routes developed towards these materials via conventional and controlled polymerization techniques. A metal-free and redox-neutral method for Beckmann rearrangement employing inexpensive and readily available SO2F2 gas is described. The reported transformation proceeds at ambient temperature and is compatible with a wide range of sterically and electronically diverse aromatic, heteroaromatic, aliphatic and lignin-like oximes providing amides in good to excellent yields. The reaction proceeds through the formation of an imidoyl fluoride intermediate that can also be used for the synthesis of amidines.  相似文献

Thermal processing at various temperatures has been used to fabricate poly(vinylidene fluoride‐co‐trifluoroethylene) [P(VDF‐co‐TrFE)] films with varied crystalline properties in an attempt to improve their piezoelectric properties. Although the dielectric constant of the films annealed at higher temperature is smaller than that of cooled and quenched ones, it has been shown that the annealed films possess larger crystallinity and stacked lamellar crystal grain size. The ferroelectric domains deriving from crystal region in all the samples are effectively improved by hot polarization. As a result, the remnant polarizations (Pr) and coercive electric field (Ec) of the corresponding films are improved at a low frequency due to the response of dipoles in crystal phase, and the largest piezoelectric constant in the longitudinal thickness mode (d33=?25 pC/N) is obtained in an annealed copolymer film. The results illustrate improving the crystal structure of P(VDF‐co‐TrFE) is an effective way to realize high electromechanical properties, which provides broadly applied scenery for this kind of copolymer in piezoelectric components. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
