Electrochemical Oxidation of Compounds Containing 1,4-Dihydropyridine and Pyridinium Rings — Analogs of Gene Transfection Agents

A study was carried out on the electrochemical oxidation of 1,4-dihydropyridines, found as substituents in pyridinium salts, which are strong electron acceptors. The potentials for their oxidation in acetonitrile were determined. NMR spectroscopy was used to find the relative acidity of the N–H and C–H protons and the oxidation potentials were determined for the anionic products of the ionization of the N–H bond in dihydropyridine. The only product of the preparative electrolysis, in contrast to chemical oxidation, is the corresponding pyridine, namely, the oxidized dihydropyridine form.     

Preparation of AgBiVMoO/-Al2O3 Catalysts for the Partial Oxidation of Propane

A novel mixed sol method was developed for the preparation of supported catalysts. Analyses by means of XRD and BET show that a 40%AgBiVMoO/γ-Al2O3 catalyst prepared by this method possessed high specific surface area and high dispersion of the active phase. As a result, high acrylic acid selectivity of 8.5% was obtained when the catalyst was used in the reaction of propane partial oxidation to acrylic acid in a fixed-bed reactor.     

四（五氟化苯基）卟啉氯化铁选择催化氧化超临界丙烷的反应机理

 以BHT为自由基捕捉剂，研究了四（五氟化苯基）卟啉氯化铁（Ⅲ）将超临界丙烷高选择性催化氧化为丙醇的反应机理．通过GC－MS分析发现，反应产物中有PBHT，故可认为在超临界丙烷氧化反应过程中有丙基自由基存在，初步推断反应涉及自由基机理．同时发现高浓度BHT抑制反应，低浓度BHT促进反应的现象，而以戊烷为底物时没有促进作用．这是由于BHT的位阻效应所致．并对BHT存在时超临界丙烷氧化反应机理进行了初步的推断．     

Zn/AlCl3促进下二硫醚与α,β-不饱和化合物的共轭加成

二芳基二硫醚与锌粉在DMF 中110 ℃反应, 生成二硫醚与锌的复合物; 后者在无水AlCl₃存在下与丙烯酸酯、丙烯腈反应分别生成β-芳硫基丙酸酯和相应的腈, 产率48%～91%.     

Oxidation and Reduction Processes During NO x Removal with Corona-Induced Nonthermal Plasma

In this paper, the NO-to-NO ₂ conversion in various gaseous mixtures is experimentally investigated. Streamer coronas are produced with a dc-superimposed high-frequency ac power supply (10–60 kHz). According to NO _x removal experiments in N ₂ +NO _x and N ₂ +O ₂ +NO _x gaseous mixtures, it is supposed that the reverse reaction NO ₂ +ONO+O ₂ may not only limit NO ₂ production in N ₂ +NO _x mixtures, but also increase the energy cost for NO removal. Oxygen could significantly suppress reduction reactions and enhance oxidation processes. The reduction reactions, such as N+NON ₂ +O, induce negligible NO removal provided the O ₂ concentration is larger than 3.6%. With adding H ₂ O into the reactor, the produced NO ₂ per unit removed NO can be significantly reduced due to NO ₂ oxidation. NH ₃ injection could also significantly decrease the produced NO ₂ via NH and NH ₂ - related reduction reactions. Almost 100% of NO ₂ can be removed in gaseous mixtures of N ₂ +O ₂ +H ₂ O+NO ₂ with negligible NO production.     

New reaction of mononitroarenes: Condensation with two acetophenone moleculesvia the nitro group

Propane oxidation over Pd/LaFe0.8Co0.2O3 catalyst

Pd/LaFe_0.8Co_0.2O₃ was found to be more active than the Pd/Al₂O₃ catalyst in propane oxidation. Activity and the oxidation state of palladium were strongly affected by the redox ratio (S) of reactants. Higher propane conversion could be obtained under rich conditions at higher temperatures, contributing to steam reforming. The presence of excess steam would bring about inhibition and oscillation.     

Influence of the conditions of manufacture of nanomeric zirconium dioxide,stabilized with yttrium oxide,on its catalytic properties in the oxidation of CO

The morphological and catalytic properties of samples of nanomeric zirconium dioxide, stabilized with yttrium oxide, manufactured via the effect of a UHF field during the process of drying precipitated zirconium hydroxide and calcination at temperatures from 300 to 1000 °C, were studied.
