The catalyst
used in fluidized catalytic cracking (FCC) units of refineries after several
recovery cycles in regeneration units, reduces its activity and it is partially
substituted by new catalyst in the process. As it has a high silicon and aluminum
oxides content, the pozzolanic properties of a Brazilian FCC spent residual
catalyst, used in different substitution degrees to cement, were evaluated
by three thermal analysis techniques during the early stages of hydration
of a type II Portland cement. NCDTA curves show in real time that the residual
catalyst, accelerates the stages of cement hydration. TG and DSC curves of
respective pastes after 24 h of hydration evidence the pozzolanic activity
of the waste, respectively, by the lower water mass loss during the dehydroxylation
of the residual calcium hydroxide and by the lower dehydroxylation endothermal
effect. Within the analyzed period, the higher is the cement substitution
degree, the higher is the pozzolanic activity of the residual catalyst. 相似文献

There is overwhelming evidence that meteorites bring α-methylated amino acids to earth with some l(S) enantiomeric excess. How does that get transferred into normal biological molecules? In this brief account, we show that an α-methylated amino acid, d(R)-α-methylvaline, can react with pyruvate and phenylpyruvate salts in dry mixtures to form alanine and phenylalanine with l enantiomeric excesses, under sensible prebiotic conditions. Thus the meteoritic l(S) excesses of this compound would produce excess d-alanine and d-phenylalanine, which are found in some organisms. 相似文献

The mechanism of electrochemical oxidation of quercetin on a glassy carbon electrode has been studied using cyclic, differential pulse and square‐wave voltammetry at different pH. It proceeds in a cascade mechanism, related with the two catechol hydroxyl groups and the other three hydroxyl groups which all present electroactivity, and the oxidation is pH dependent. Quercetin also adsorbs strongly on the electrode surface; and the final oxidation product is not electroactive and blocks the electrode surface. The oxidation of the catechol 3′,4′‐dihydroxyl electron‐donating groups, occurs first, at very low positive potentials, and is a two electron two proton reversible reaction. The hydroxyl group oxidized next was shown to undergo an irreversible oxidation reaction, and this hydroxyl group can form a intermolecular hydrogen bond with the neighboring oxygen. The other two hydroxyl groups also have an electron donating effect and their oxidation is reversible. 相似文献

The phytochemical investigation of the more polar fractions from the leaves and twigs of Taxus sumatrana (Taxaceae) afforded five new taxane diterpene esters, tasumatrols P–T ( 1 – 5 ) possessing an 11(15→1),11(10→9)‐diabeotaxane skeleton. Compounds 1, 4 , and 5 contain an α‐hydroxy group at C(14), while 3 has no OH group at either C(13) or C(14). Compound 2 is a natural 4,5‐acetonide derivative, while 4 has an unusual spiro‐connected 2‐hydroxy‐2‐phenyl‐1,3‐dioxolane ring. Ten known taxoids, were also isolated in the course of the chromatographic fractionation. Five additional new O‐acetyl derivatives 3a, 4a, 4b, 5a , and 5b were prepared from the taxanes 3 – 5 . The structures of all new compounds were established on the basis of their spectroscopic analyses. Compound 1 showed mild cytotoxic activity against human Hela and Daoy tumor cells. 相似文献

A novel organic-inorganic composite was prepared by a sol-gel process using hydrolysis and condensation of tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) reacted with a saccharide. During the process, ethoxy groups of the TEOS were replaced with hydroxyl groups of the saccharide and, consequently, saccharide molecules were combined with silica through their hydroxyl groups. Samples obtained under different reaction conditions were used for optical resolution of a metal chelate compound. The resolution ability of the composites was affected by the amount of water added for hydrolysis and of the saccharide. In particular, the amount of water drastically influenced the optical resolution performance. Composites obtained at the lower H2O/TEOS ratio gave the metal chelate compound a higher optical rotation. Three types of composites with the same composition were prepared by kneading, impregnation and by the sol-gel method, and were compared. The sol-gel composite showed the best optical resolution ability. It was concluded that the optical resolution ability was closely related to dispersibility of saccharide in the silica matrix. 相似文献

利用原子力显微镜(Atomic Force Microscopy,AFM)对淋巴细胞表面形貌进行了形态学的初步研究,观察到了其膜表面其他显微技术所不能发现的超微结构.同时也运用扫描近场光学显微镜(Scanning Near field Optical Microscopy,SNOM)对淋巴细胞进行成像,观察了其对光的透射、吸收等光学性质,并对两种成像方法进行了比较.研究发现:淋巴细胞膜表面凹凸不平,分布着大量直径几十到几百纳米不等的小颗粒;淋巴细胞中央部位有自发荧光现象.结果表明,AFM和SNOM可作为进一步探讨淋巴细胞的结构与功能关系的有力工具. 相似文献

报道一种测定乳酸脱氢酶活力的基于可见吸收信号的光纤生物传感器,在该传感体系中,通过辅酶I的氧化还原对(NAD^+/NADH)将乳酸脱氢酶和心肌黄酶催化的两个脱氢过阳以耦合,第一个脱氢过程对分析对象进行了化学识别,第二个脱氢过程引起可见吸收信号的变化,该传感器对0~400U/L的乳酸脱氢酶有线性响应关系,检测下限为48UL,该传感器已用于人体血清中乳酸脱氢酶活力的测定。 相似文献
