A series of highly extended π‐conjugated ladder‐type oligo(p‐phenylene)s containing up to 10 phenyl rings with (L)‐Ph(n)‐NPh (n=7–10) or without diphenylamino endcaps (L)‐Ph(n) (n=7 and 8) were synthesized and investigated for their multiphoton absorption properties for frequency upconverted blue ASE/lasing. Extremely large two‐photon absorption (2PA) cross‐sections and highly efficient 2PA ASE/lasing with ultralow threshold were achieved. (L)‐Ph(10)‐NPh exhibits the highest intrinsic 2PA cross‐section of 3643 GM for a blue emissive organic fluorophore reported so far. The record‐high 2PA pumped ASE/lasing efficiency of 2.06 % was obtained by un‐endcapped oligomer, (L)‐Ph(8) rather than that with larger σ2, suggesting that a molecule with larger σ2 is not guaranteed to exhibit higher η2. All of these oligomers exhibit exceptionally ultralow 2PA pumped ASE/lasing thresholds, among which the lowest 2PA pumped threshold of circa 0.26 μJ was achieved by (L)‐Ph(10)‐NPh. 相似文献

Molecular glass resist has been considered as one of the best choices for a new generation of lithography. In this work, a new type of photoactive compound was obtained by the esterification of tannic acid with 2-diazo-1- naphthoquinone-4-sulfonyl chloride(2,1,4-DNQ-Cl) and ditertbutyl dicarbonate. The new obtained compound possessed both a photosensitive group of diazonaphthoquinone sulfonate(2,1,4-DNQ) and a group of acidolytic protection. Upon the irradiation of the compound under 365 nm light, the former group was photolyzed and converted into indene carboxylic acid along with a small amount of sulfonic acid, which could lead to the deprotection of the latter group. As a result, a novel i-line molecular glass photoresist was formed with the chemical modification of tannic acid. The experimental results show that the modificated compound had a fair solubility in many organic solvents. The lithographic performance of the resist was evaluated on an i-line exposure system with high photosensitivity and resolution as well. 相似文献

Amplified emission spectroscopy is promising for applications of qualitative and quantitative sensing of elements and their states. This technique has the characteristics of a narrow spectral line, high spectral resolution, and high signal‐to‐noise ratio. Recently, this technology has advanced tremendously with progress in excitation methods, that is, resonance multiphoton absorption and filamentation with ultrafast lasers. The mechanism, conditions, excitation, signal processing, and applications of amplified emission spectroscopy are reviewed herein. In particular, the different formation patterns of the amplified emission spectra produced by an ultrafast laser are analyzed in detail. In addition, a brief introduction is given to the existing applications of amplified emission. Finally, both a conclusion and a perspective of the future for amplified emission are presented. 相似文献

This paper reports on the fabrication and characterization of a newly erbium-doped
single-mode tellurite glass-fibre applicable for 1.5-μum optical amplifiers. A
very broad erbium amplified spontaneous emission in the range 1450--1650nm from
erbium-doped single-mode tellurite glass-fibre is obtained upon excitation of a
980-nm laser diode. The effects of the length of glass-fibre and the pumping power
of laser diode on the amplified spontaneous emission are discussed. The result
indicates that the tellurite glass-fibre is a promising candidate for designing
