Thermal expansion control is always an obstructive factor and challenging in high precision engineering field. Here,the negative thermal expansion of Nb F_3 and Nb OF_2 was predicted by first-principles calculation with density functional theory and the quasi-harmonic approximation(QHA). We studied the total charge density, thermal vibration, and lattice dynamic to investigate the thermal expansion mechanism. We found that the presence of O induced the relatively strong covalent bond in Nb OF_2, thus weakening the transverse vibration of F and O in Nb OF_2, compared with the case of Nb F_3.In this study, we proposed a way to tailor negative thermal expansion of metal fluorides by introducing the oxygen atoms.The present work not only predicts two NTE compounds, but also provides an insight on thermal expansion control by designing chemical bond type.  相似文献

Trichel pulse is a kind of pulsed mode in negative DC corona discharge, which has attracted significant attention because of its considerable applications in industry. Over eighty years, plenty of effort including simulations and experiments has been spent to reveal the ionization and quenching mechanisms of Trichel pulse. 采用XRD测定了PVA薄膜在不同热处理条件下的结晶度,并用自行设计的渗氢系数测量系统研究了在不同热处理条件下的PVA薄膜阻氢性能的变化规律。结果表明,PVA薄膜的热处理温度越高,其结晶度越高,越有利于提高PVA薄膜的阻氢性能,但热处理温度宜选择在180℃以下,以防止PVA薄膜热降解,另一方面,在PVA的玻璃化转变温度以下进行热处理同样能够提高PVA薄膜的阻氢性能,而醇解度较低的PVA薄膜在玻璃化转变温度以下经热处理后的阻氢性能提高的幅度较大。  相似文献

基于磁荷模型,在有限差分法基础上,推导了3维永磁体数值算法,结合全3维PIC/MCC粒子模拟算法,数值分析比较了外置型和“伞状”型两种特殊形态多峰磁场对电子能量沉积的影响。模拟结果表明:二者都能对粒子起到约束作用且能过滤引出负氢离子,同时二者电子能量分布规律基本一致,都呈现了双电子能态,符合等离子体放电基本机理;外置型过滤磁场对粒子的约束能力更强,能明显产生更多的粒子,总粒子数大约是“伞状”型过滤磁场情况下的4倍;“伞状”型过滤磁场能有效地抑制由磁场不均匀所引起的电子漂移,使产生的负氢离子空间分布更均匀。模拟结果与国外实验结果基本一致。  相似文献

为深入了解负折射率媒质的奇异传输特性,基于斯涅耳折射原理,设计并加工了一种用于测试X波段(8.2~12.4 GHz),以亚铁磁材料为基体,内嵌金属线阵列宏结构的负折射率介质样品折射特性的实验装置。分别测试了楔形石蜡样品和楔形负折射率介质样品在X波段的折射特性,对石蜡样品测试结果的分析证明了该折射特性测试装置的有效性,对负折射率介质样品测试结果的分析证明了合成介质确实具有负折射效应。通过电磁仿真方法,测试了平行板负折射率介质的波束位移特性,进一步证明了该种合成介质的负折射特性。  相似文献

The dynamics of super-twisted nematic (STN) liquid crystal displays have rarely been studied. In this article, the dynamic response of STN is analysed in detail. The evolution of director configuration with time was obtained by solving Ericksen–Leslie hydrodynamic equations. The time varying midlayer tilt angle is presented as a measure of dynamic response. The influence on STN dynamics of cell parameters including pretilt angle, twist angle, cell thickness, and of material parameters including d/p, K 22, K 33, were studied.  相似文献

We propose a method for fast switching of vertically aligned (VA) negative liquid crystals (LCs) by hiding the relaxation process of LCs. During the turn-off process, a strong in-plane electric field is applied for a short duration of time instead of relying solely on the slow relaxation of LCs. The LC molecules are rotated to the transmission axis of one of the polarisers by the applied in-plane electric field, resulting in turn-off switching that is 5.8 times faster than that of a conventional VA cell. By applying an overdriving scheme, we experimentally obtained a total response time of 3.3 ms.  相似文献

A new diamine containing spirobisindane and phenazine units, namely, 3,3,3′,3′‐tetramethyl‐2,2′,3,3′‐tetrahydro‐1,1′‐spirobi[cyclopenta[b]phenazine]‐7,7′‐diamine (TTSBIDA) was synthesized starting from commercially available 5,5′,6,6′‐tetrahydroxy‐3,3,3′,3′‐tetramethyl‐1,1′‐spirobisindane (TTSBI). TTSBI was oxidized to 3,3,3′,3′‐tetramethyl‐2,2′,3,3′‐tetrahydro‐1,1′‐spirobi[indene]‐5,5′,6,6′‐tetraone (TTSBIQ) which was subsequently condensed with 4‐nitro‐1,2‐phenylenediamine to obtain 3,3,3′,3′‐tetramethyl‐7,7′‐dinitro‐2,2′,3,3′‐tetrahydro‐1,1′‐spirobi[cyclopenta[b]phenazine] (TTSBIDN). TTSBIDN was converted into TTSBIDA by reduction of the nitro groups using hydrazine hydrate in the presence of Pd/C as the catalyst. A series of new polyimides of intrinsic microporosity (PIM‐PIs) were synthesized by polycondensation of TTSBIDA with commercially available aromatic dianhydrides. PIM‐PIs exhibited amorphous nature, high thermal stability (T10 > 480 °C) and intrinsic microporosity (BET surface area = 59–289 m2/g). The gas permeation characteristics of films of selected PIM‐PIs were evaluated and they exhibited appreciable gas permeability as well as high selectivity. The CO2 and O2 permeability of PIM‐PIs were in the range 185.4–39.2 and 30.6–6.2 Barrer, respectively. Notably, polyimide derived from TTSBIDA and 4,4′‐(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride (PIM‐PI‐6FDA) exhibited high CO2 and O2 permeability of 185.4 and 30.6 Barrer with CO2/CH4 and O2/N2 selectivity of 43.1 and 5.1, respectively.
