TiO2 thick films deposited on macroporous reticulated Al2O3 foams with pore size of 10 ppi and 15 ppi were prepared using dip coating from slurries of Aeroxide® P25 nanopowder and precipitated titania. All prepared films have sufficiently good adhesion to the surface of the substrate also in case of strongly cracked films. No measurable release of deposited TiO2 after repeated photocatalytic cycles was observed. The photocatalytic activity was characterized as the rate of mineralization of aqueous phenol solution under irradiation of UVA light by TOC technique. The best activity was obtained with Aeroxide® P25 coated Al2O3 foam with the pore size of 10 ppi, annealed at 600 °C. The optimal annealing temperature for preparation of films from precipitated titania could be determined at 700 °C. Films prepared by sol-gel deposition technique were considerably thinner compared to coatings made of suspensions and their photocatalytic activity was significantly smaller. 相似文献

Phase composition and tribological properties of Ti-Al coatings produced on pure Ti by laser cladding 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Ti-Al coatings with ∼14.7, 18.1, 25.2 and 29.7 at.% Al contents were fabricated on pure Ti substrate by laser cladding. The laser cladding Ti-Al coatings were analyzed with X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). It was found that with the increase of Al content, the diffraction peaks shifted gradually to higher 2θ values. The laser cladding Ti-Al coatings with 14.7 and 18.1 at.% Al were composed of α-Ti and α2-Ti3Al phases, while those with 25.2 and 29.7 at.% Al were composed of α2-Ti3Al phase. With the increase of Al content, the cross-sectional hardness increased, while the fracture toughness decreased. For the laser cladding Ti-Al coatings, when the Al content was ≤18.1 at.%, the wear mechanism was adhesive wear and abrasive wear; while when the Al content ≥25.2 at.%, the wear mechanism was adhesive wear, abrasive wear and microfracture. With the increase of Al content, the wear rate of laser cladding Ti-Al coatings decreased under 1 N normal load, while the wear rate firstly decreased and then increased under a normal load of 3 N. Due to its optimized combination of high hardness and high fracture toughness, the laser cladding Ti-Al coating with 18.1 at.% Al showed the best anti-wear properties at higher normal load. 相似文献

The fine TiC reinforcing phase had a gradient distribution in the coating, and its growth morphology of TiC in laser surface alloyed coating was in unique faceted platelet-like. phases and leads to evolve the metallic sheets sandwiched by organic
polymers. The growth of the metallic crystals in the plane of the
photo-electromagnetic field is attributed due to plasmon-plasmon interaction
among nanoparticles embedded in dielectric polymer matrices. The surface
enhanced photochemical reaction of residual cluster molecules on the photon
incident direction is expected to take an important role for joining the
metal particles to produce a metallic sheet. We can apply this phenomenon

We study quantum transport in honeycomb lattice ribbons with either
armchair or zigzag edges. The ribbons are coupled to semi-infinite
linear chains serving as the input and output leads and we use a
tight-binding Hamiltonian with nearest-neighbor hops. The input
and output leads are coupled to the ribbons through bar contacts.
In narrow ribbons we find transmission gaps for both types of edges.
The appearance of this gap is due to the enhanced quantum
interference coming from the multiple channels in bar contacts.
The center of the gap is at the middle of the band in ribbons with
armchair edges. This particle-hole symmetry is because bar
contacts do not mix the two sublattices of the underlying bipartite
honeycomb lattice when the ribbon has armchair edges. In
ribbons with zigzag edges the gap center is displaced to the right
of the band center. This breakdown of particle-hole symmetry is
the result of bar contacts now mixing the two sublattices. We also
find transmission oscillations and resonances within the transmitting
region of the band for both types of edges. Extending the length of
a ribbon does not affect the width of the transmission gap, as long
as the ribbon’s length is longer than a critical value when the gap
can form. Increasing the width of the ribbon, however, changes the
width of the gap. In ribbons with zigzag edges the gap width
systematically shrinks as the width of the ribbon is increased. In
ribbons with armchair edges the gap is not well-defined because of
the appearance of transmission resonances. We also find only
evanescent waves within the gap and both evanescent and propagating

We propose an electrical scheme for the generation of a pure spin current without a charge current in a two-terminal device,
which
consists of a scattering region of a two-dimensional electron gas
(2DEG) with Rashba (R) and/or Dresselhaus (S) spin-orbit interaction (SOI)
and two normal leads. The SOI is modulated by a time-dependent gate
voltage to pump a spin current. Based on a tight-binding model and
the Keldysh Green’s function technique, we obtain the analytical
expression of the spin current. It is shown that a pure spin current
can be pumped out, and its magnitude could be modulated by
device parameters such as the oscillating frequency of the SOI, as
well as the SOI strength. Moreover, the spin polarisation direction of
the spin current could also be tuned by the strength ratio between
RSOI and DSOI. Our proposal provides not only a fully electrical means
to generate a pure spin current but also a way to control the spin

Sol was prepared by the mixing of tetra-η-butyle titanat, ethyl aceto acetate, and ethanol in an optimized condition. Polished 316L specimens were coated with the sol by dip-coating method. The influences of drying condition, withdrawal speed, calcination temperature, addition of dispersant, and pH of sol on TiO2 nanostructure coating were investigated. Choosing of alcohol as drying atmosphere hindered the crack formation. The relation between coating thickness and withdrawal speed was evaluated. The optimum temperature to create a uniform distribution of nanoparticles of anatase was derived as 400 °C. Average roughness of coating was found about 10.61 nm by AFM analysis. Dispersant addition promoted formation of a uniform film as well as prevention of agglomeration. Acidic sol provided smaller particles than neutral sol. 相似文献

With an attempt to fabricate large-area OLED lighting panels, we investigate slot-die coating of a small molecule (SM) hole transport layer (HTL). It is observed that SM HTL films formed by spin coating exhibit pinhole-like surface, whereas the films by slot-die coating show micro-sized hillocks due to agglomeration. As the plate temperature of the slot coater is increased, smaller hillocks appear more densely. To tackle it, a small amount of a polymer HTL is added into the SM HTL (Hybrid HTL). By the aid of entangled polymer chains, small molecules are prohibited from migrating and thus agglomerations disappear. The peak-to-peak roughness of the slot-coated hybrid HTL films is measured to be about 11.5 nm, which is slightly higher than that (~7 nm) of the polymer HTL film, but much lower than that (~1071 nm) of the SM HTL film. Similar results are also observed in spin-coated films. It is also addressed that OLED with the hybrid HTL shows higher luminous efficacy, compared to OLED with the SM HTL or the polymer HTL. We have further demonstrated that the dissolution problem occurring between two stacked layers with different solvents during slot-die coating can be suppressed to a great extent using such a combination of materials in hybrid structure. 相似文献
