An application of coupled column ion chromatography (IC)-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) is presented for speciation of chromium in waste waters. By coupling an anion column with a cation column, both the cationic Cr(III) and anionic Cr(VI) species can be analyzed with detection limits below 0.5 μg/1. The separation of the interfering ions (chloride, chlorate, perchlorate, sulphate, sulphite, sulphide, thiosulphate, carbonate, cyanide and some organic compounds) from the chromium peaks is discussed, and the use of different chromium isotopes for data acquisition is compared. Based on the results, m/z 52 was considered as an ideal isotope for speciation of chromium in waste waters by the coupled column IC-ICP-MS, because it did not suffer from polyatomic interferences and due to the high sensitivity for chromium. The analysis of the waste water samples should be performed as soon as possible after sampling according to the stability tests of the species.  相似文献

The crystal-chemical structure of the minerals and inorganic compounds kuznetsovite [Hg3](AsO4)Cl and terlinguaite [Hg3][HgO2]Cl2, as well as [Hg3]3(AsO4)4 and [Hg3]2[HgO2](PO2 and their analogs, is considered from the viewpoint of the packing of large supramolecular atomic groups. The cationic layer of polyhedra around the large [Hg3]4+ cations, alternating with the anionic layer of [HgO2]2-, (AsO4)3-, (PO4)3-, Cl-, plays the major role in structure formation. Segregation of mercury cations of different valences possibly reflects the solid-state transformations occurring in nature and accompanied by mercury liberation.  相似文献

本文研究了六种金属离子在三种煤表面的吸附规律,研究结果表明:铜离子能够改善煤的制浆效果,即铜离子加入煤浆中,分散剂的用量降低50%,煤浆浓度提高;钙、镁、钴、锌离子对煤的成浆性不利的原因是它们不能有效地被吸附到煤表面,游离的金属离子和分散剂发生反应,使得吸附到煤表面的分散剂相对减少,煤的成浆性变差。  相似文献

Conformational stability of G-quartets found in telomeric DNA quadruplex structures requires the coordination of monovalent ions. Here, an extensive Hartree-Fock and density functional theory analysis of the energetically favored position of Li+, Na+, and K+ ions is presented. The calculations show that at quartet-quartet distances observed in DNA quadruplex structures (3.3 A), the Li+ and Na+ ions favor positions of 0.55 and 0.95 A outside the plane of the G-quartet, respectively. The larger K+ ion prefers a central position between successive G-quartets. The energy barrier separating the minima in the quartet-ion-quartet model are much smaller for the Li+ and Na+ ions compared with the K+ ion; this suggests that K+ ions will not move as freely through the central channel of the DNA quadruplex. Spin-spin coupling constants and isotropic chemical shifts in G-quartets extracted from crystal structures of K+- and Na+-coordinated DNA quadruplexes were calculated with B3LYP/6-311G(d). The results show that the sizes of the trans-hydrogen-bond couplings are influenced primarily by the hydrogen bond geometry and only slightly by the presence of the ion. The calculations show that the R(N2N7) distance of the N2-H2...N7 hydrogen bond is characterized by strong correlations to both the chemical shifts of the donor group atoms and the (h2)J(N2N7) couplings. In contrast, weaker correlations between the (h3)J(N1C6') couplings and single geometric factors related to the N1-H1...O6=C6 hydrogen bond are observed. As such, deriving geometric information on the hydrogen bond through the use of trans-hydrogen-bond couplings and chemical shifts is more complex for the N1-H1...O6=C6 hydrogen bond than for the N2-H2...N7 moiety. The computed trans-hydrogen-bond couplings are shown to correlate with the experimentally determined couplings. However, the experimental values do not show such strong geometric dependencies.  相似文献

We have worked out a method for the synthesis of 1,3,3-trisubstituted triazene 1-oxides based upon reaction of 1,1-disubstituted hydrazines with bromine in the presence of aryl- and heteroarylnitroso compounds in acid media. Obtained are a broad range of triazene 1-oxides, among which hitherto unknown compounds of the series of pyrazole and 3,3-dialkyltriazene 1-oxides that contain functional groups at the alkyl part of the molecule. We propose a reaction scheme which includes in situ formation of diazenium cations and reaction of them with nitroso compounds that are present in the system. By means of PMR,13C, and14N NMR spectroscopy, and mass spectroscopy, it has been shown that in all the prepared compounds the oxidated nitrogen atom is at the N1 position of the triazene N-oxide group.N. The partition of the spin label TEMPO in the hydrophobic region of di-palmitoyl-phosphatidylcholine unilamellar vesicles has been used to investigate the influence of high concentration (up 3M) of Li+, Na+, K+, and Cs+ on the phase transitions at 20–60°C. All of the above salts increase the permeation of TEMPO. The efficiency of monovalent cations in inducing the partition of the spin label in the hydrophobic environment of the bilayer increases in the order: Cs++++. The disappearing of the pretransition and the downward shift of the main phase transition temperature from 37°C to 33.5°C is related to the increased permeation of TEMPO into the bilayer. The presence of salts in the bulk solution disturbs the hydration of the zwitterionic polar head of the DPPC molecules and changes the electrical interaction between the polar groups of the bilayer. This reduces the packing density of the lipid molecules and promotes the permeation of TEMPO.  相似文献

A number of monopodands havingo-diphenylphosphinyl terminal groups were synthesized by alkylating sodium derivatives of oligoethylene glycols witho-(bromomethyl)phenyldiphenylphosphine. The stability constants of the complexes of these ligands with alkali metal cations at 25 °C were determined conductometrically in a THF—chloroform solution (41, v/v). The complexing ability of monopodands with respect to the cations studied increases monotonically as the number of electron-donating sites increases (from 3 to 8) for all of the cations except Li+ and, to some extent, Na+. In the case of Li+ a smooth decrease in the stability of the complexes is observed. The monopodands obtained in this work differ drastically in this regard from their structural isomers, bis[o-(diphenylphosphinylmethyl)phenyl] ethers of oligoethylene glycols, which had been studied previously.For part 10, see ref. 1.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. Two new ditopic receptors for α,ω-alkanediyldiammonium cations based on a tetraazamacrocyclic (cyclidene) nickel(II) complex bearing two crown-ether residues were synthesized. The studies of the host-guest interaction between the receptors and a series of α,ω-diammonium salts by NMR titration in acetonitrile-d3 showed that 1:1 complexes are formed with Kassoc∼103-105 M−1. Receptor 1 with benzo-15-crown-5 arms showed substantial selectivity in binding of trimethylene- and tetramethylenediammonium dications, and 1-2 orders of magnitude weaker binding of shorter (C2) or longer (C5 and C6) diammonium cations. Receptor 2 with benzo-18-crown-6 arms showed higher affinity to all studied diammonium cations, but the recognition of the length of α,ω-diammonium cations was less pronounced.  相似文献
