A combined hybrid mixed element method for incompressible miscible displacement problem with local discontinuous Galerkin procedure

In this article, we propose a combined hybrid discontinuous mixed finite element method for miscible displacement problem with local discontinuous Galerkin method. Here, to obtain more accurate approximation and deal with the discontinuous case, we use the hybrid mixed element method to approximate the pressure and velocity, and use the local discontinuous Galerkin finite element method for the concentration. Compared with other combined methods, this method can improve the efficiency of computation, deal with the discontinuous problem well and keep local mass balance. We study the convergence of this method and give the corresponding optimal error estimates in L^∞(L²) for velocity and concentration and the super convergence in L^∞(H¹) for pressure. Finally, we also present some numerical examples to confirm our theoretical analysis.     

基于前景理论的混合不确定情景下在线多属性反向拍卖的赢者确定方法

在线反向拍卖在当今的经济社会发展中扮演越来越重要的角色,其主要应用于采购招标领域。而在实际的采购拍卖中有关商品属性和供应商信息等方面常会存在一定程度的不确定性,且这些不确定性的刻画又存在着多种模糊表述形式,这些都将增加采购方的风险预期和竞标供应商赢者确定的难度。为此,本文基于前景理论及模糊集理论,研究了同时存在精确数、区间数、三角模糊数、梯形模糊数和语义模糊术语五种属性描述方式的在线多属性反向拍卖的赢者确定问题,提出了一种更具一般性的混合不确定情景下的在线多属性反向拍卖赢者(中标者)确定方法。最后,通过数值算例和比较分析验证了本文所提方法的合理性与有效性,并通过稳健性分析进一步说明方法的稳定性和适用性。     

求解二次分配问题的新的流量模型

二次分配问题是具有广泛应用背景的经典组合优化难题之一。本文在二次分配问题已有线性化模型的基础上,提出了一种新的基于流量的线性化模型。数值试验结果表明,新模型无论从时间上还是计算节点数都更具有优势。     

混合分数布朗运动环境下欧式障碍期权定价

当股票价格遵循混合分数布朗运动时,利用Δ-对冲和混合分数It8公式,建立混合分数布朗运动下欧式障碍期权定价模型,通过换元法将期权定价的偏微分方程转化为热传导方程,求得显示解.在此基础上,得到欧式障碍期权看涨-看跌平价关系式.由此,再根据敲入-敲出障碍期权关系式可推出障碍期权所有类型的定价公式.     

Influence of cross diffusions on mixed convection chemical reaction flow in a vertical channel with Navier slip: Homotopy approach

This paper is to examine the incompressible, laminar mixed convective Navier slip flow between vertical plates with cross diffusion effects. This research includes the first order chemical reaction also. The resulting equations with boundary conditions are reduced into dimensionless form using appropriate transformations. The series solutions are developed through a modern technique known as the homotopy analysis method. The convergent expressions of velocity components and temperature are derived. The influence of emerging parameters on fluid flow quantities have been presented graphically. Also, the nature of physical quantities are shown in tabular form.     

Positive solutions of nonlinear problems involving the square root of the Laplacian

We consider nonlinear elliptic problems involving a nonlocal operator: the square root of the Laplacian in a bounded domain with zero Dirichlet boundary conditions. For positive solutions to problems with power nonlinearities, we establish existence and regularity results, as well as a priori estimates of Gidas-Spruck type. In addition, among other results, we prove a symmetry theorem of Gidas-Ni-Nirenberg type.     

Designer Self-Assembling Peptide Materials for Diverse Applications

Summary: Macromolecuar chemistry and polymer science have had an enormous impact in many areas of science, engineering, medicine and our daily life. It has not only changed our way of life forever, but also continuously to improve our living standard. Macromolecuar chemistry now also encompasses bioengineering, biomimetics, designer biological materials and nanobiotechnology. Here we summarize a few classes of short peptides that we discovered and invented with broad applications including 3D tissue cell culture, reparative and regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, slow drug release, stabilization of membrane proteins for develop nanobiotechnology and molecular devices. Molecular design using short peptides as new materials will play increasingly important role in biomedical research, nanobiotechnology, clinical science and medicine.     

An optimal‐order error estimate on an H1‐Galerkin mixed method for a nonlinear parabolic equation in porous medium flow

We present an H¹‐Galerkin mixed finite element method for a nonlinear parabolic equation, which models a compressible fluid flow process in subsurface porous media. The method possesses the advantages of mixed finite element methods while avoiding directly inverting the permeability tensor, which is important especially in a low permeability zone. We conducted theoretical analysis to study the existence and uniqueness of the numerical solutions of the scheme and prove an optimal‐order error estimate for the method. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 通过利用差集矩阵和投影矩阵的正交分解之间的关系,首先提出了构造小的标准混合差集矩阵的一般方法.其次,给定一个阶为r+1的标准混合差集矩阵和一个阶为r的差集矩阵,首先提出了构造阶为r(r+1)的标准混合差集矩阵的一般方法.如果阶为r的差集矩阵不存在但一个试验次数为r~2的正交表存在,也可以通过它们构造阶数较大的标准混合差集矩阵.     

一类(k,n-k)泛函微分方程共扼边值问题的正解

在不假定非线性项f单调的前提下研究一类混合型泛函微分方程边值问题.利用锥上的不动点定理获得了所考虑问题的正解的存在性和多解性结果.
