We study the coexistence phase in the two-dimensional Ising model. Optimizing the cluster expansion technique, we are able to prove the phase separation phenomenon, with the Onsager value for the surface tension, in a range , where estimates from above the critical within 19% and essentially coincides with the entropic bound.  相似文献

A covalent interaction-based molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) material for 3-chloro-1,2-propanediol (3-MCPD), a post-testicular anti-fertility agent and possible carcinogen and mutagen in food products containing acid-hydrolyzed vegetable proteins, has been successfully fabricated using 4-vinylphenylboronic acid as the functional monomer. Rebinding assay revealed that the binding constant, KB, for the receptor sites and non-specific sites are 1.93±0.1×104 and 2.74±0.7×102 M−1, respectively. The estimated number of receptor site, Bmax, imprinted is 123.3±3 μmol/g of MIP. The MIP material is able to act as a potentiometric chemosensor for 3-MCPD via increase in Lewis acidity of the receptor sites upon reaction of the arylboronic acid with 3-MCPD to form the more acidic arylboronic acid esters. A simple pH glass electrode is sufficient to monitor the analyte-specific rebinding. In unbuffered aqueous media, linear potentiometric response from 0 to 350 ppm of 3-MCPD can be achieved. The MIP-based chemosensing in a soya sauce matrix has also been attempted. It is found that the dynamic range of the potentiometric chemosensing response of the MIP material is much reduced, probably due to the blocking or deactivation of receptor sites by interferents in soya sauces. Nevertheless, the present work demonstrated the feasibility of using MIP-based chemosensors as semi-quantitative analytical tools for screening purposes in quality control of food products.  相似文献

When the two end groups of a linear polymer chain are absorbed on a solid surface,the polymer chain forms the "loop" conformation.Investigation has been made on the conformational statistics of a model loop chain by the normal landom walk (NRW) on a lattice confined in the half-infinite space.Based on the conformational distribution function of the NRW model tail chain,it is easy to deduce an analytical formula expressing the conforma-tional number of the model loop chain.It was found that the ratio of the conformational number of the model loop chain to that of the free chain varies with the power function N-2/3 when the chain length N→∞ The same result was obtained by means of the recursion equation.The ratio of the mean square end-to-end distance h2 for the model loop chain to its mean square bond length I2 is 2N/3 Compared with the free chain with the same length N,the mean square end-to-end distance of the model loop chain contracts to a certain extent.The basic relationships deduced were support  相似文献

The preparation and properties of smooth and stable films of cyclodextrin polymers are described. The commercially available water soluble prepolymers of-, -, and-cyclodextrin of low molecular masses were crosslinked with glutaric dialdehyde. Side-chain unreacted aldehyde groups were reduced with sodium borohydride. For the-cyclodextrin polymer, optimum film performance was found for a 1:10 mass ratio of glutaric dialdehyde to prepolymer, which corresponds to a molar ratio of glutaric dialdehyde to cyclodextrin units of about 1.75: 1. Such films, of thickness 2.4 µm, were prepared on metallic or glassy-carbon substrates for characterization by scanning-electron microscopy, and for studies with the electrochemical quartz-crystal microbalance.  相似文献

Gamma-radiation grafting of vinyl ether of monoethanolamine and vinyl ether of ethyleneglycol (VEEG) on polyethylene films has been studied from binary monomer mixtures. The effect of co-monomer composition and total exposure radiation dose on the grafting process is investigated. A combination of potentiometric and gravimetric techniques is applied to determine the grafting degree of each monomer in the final graft copolymer. The presence of more active monomer VEEG in the mixture was found to enhance the grafting of both monomers because the increasing of copolymerization rate which in turn increases the total grafting degree. The modification of the hydrophilic properties of the graft copolymer is studied by examining the grafted films for water- and copper (II) ions uptake.  相似文献

Summary Imprinted polymers as stationary phases for HPLC separations have been the subject of extensive investigations in recent years. In order to aid the rational design of synthetic protocols for the preparation of imprinted polymers, a series of calculations were made to assess the equilibrium concentration of templatemonomer complexes as a function of association constant (K) for the functional groups involved in the interactions and initial concentrations of reactants. This data was then used to predict the selectivity of polymers prepared under different reaction conditions and the model was tested using an experimentally determined value ofK and separation factors taken from the literature.  相似文献
