Selective ordering of surfactant modified gold nanoparticles in a diblock copolymer

Ordered aggregation of thiol-passivated Au nanoparticles in a diblock copolymer polystyrene-b-poly(methyl methacrylate) has been observed. The morphology of the diblock copolymer/Au-nanocomposite was dependent on the composition of the thiol modifier. For the thiol modifier that does not preferentially interact with one of the blocks, a perpendicular (relative to the substrate) lamellar morphology is maintained. However, for a thiol with a surfactant structure similar to one of the blocks, we observed a parallel lamellar morphology and speculate that the nanoparticles have localized at the microdomain interface. These conclusions are based on transmission electron microscopy, angle-dependent X-ray photoelectron microscopy and tensiometry. These results are consistent with theoretical predictions on the hybrid systems composed of block copolymers and nanoparticles.     

Preparation and thermosensitivity of naturally occurring polypeptide poly(gamma-glutamic acid) derivatives modified by propyl groups

Poly(gamma-glutamic acid) (gamma-PGA) is a biosynthetic polymer, and the carboxyl groups are able to undergo a chemical modification. In this study, poly(alpha-propyl gamma-glutamate) (gamma-PGA propylate) was synthesized by the esterification of these carboxyl groups to yield a thermosensitive and biodegradable polymer. In aqueous solution, the gamma-PGA propylate can impart thermosensitivity by controlling the hydrophobic-hydrophilic balance of the gamma-PGA polymeric chains.     

巯基葡聚糖凝胶分离富集光度法测定镉的研究

研究了在ＴｒｉｔｏｎＸ－１００存在下，新显色剂邻羧基苯基重氮氨基偶氮苯（ＣＤＡＡ）与镉的显色体系，在ｐＨ１０．６的Ｎａ２Ｂ４Ｏ７－ＮａＯＨ体系中，显色反应灵敏度很高。络合物的最大吸收位于５４５ｎｍ处，其摩尔吸光系数为２．２２×１０＾５Ｌ·ｍｏｌ＾－１·ｃｍ＾－１。镉含量在０￣１２μｇ／２５ｍＬ符合比耳定律。将该体系用于巯基葡聚糖凝胶分离富集－光度法测水样中微量镉，结果令人满意。     

Chiral separation of triazole pesticide enantiomers by high performance liquid chromatography

Four triazole enantiomers of diclobutrazol (erythro form) (1), paclobutrazol (erythro form) (2), diniconazole (3) and uniconazole (4) have been separated by high performance liquid chro-matography (HPLC) on chiral stationary phase (CSP) OA-4700. Chromatographic data and a chiral recongnition model are presented for the separation of these pesticide enantiomers. The influence of column temperature and composition of mobile phase have been described.     

亚氨基二乙酸—硅胶键合相的合成及其在核苷酸分析中的应用

以大孔微球硅胶（３０ｎｍ，８μｍ）为基体，经γ－氨丙基三乙氧基硅烷活化与间隔臂氯代环氧丙烷反应后，再与螯合剂亚氨基二乙酸键合，后者与铜离子（Ⅱ）螯合后，构成定位金属离子亲和色谱固定相。用磷酸盐缓冲溶液（ｐＨ＝７．０）作流动相，经紫外吸收检测（２６０ｎｍ）对核苷酸混合物进行了高效液相色谱分析，取得较满意的结果。     

Effect of pressure on oxygen enrichment of liquid crystalline cellulose ether membranes at elevated temperature

Cholesteric liquid crystalline triheptyl cellulose (THC)/ethyl cellulose binary blend membranes were prepared and the effect of pressure on their oxygen enrichment at elevated temperature was investigated using a constant pressure-variable volume method. The oxygen enrichment increased with the increase of transmembrane pressure difference or with slight increase of the THC content in the blend membranes. The oxygen concentration through the membranes increased linearly with decreasing pressure ratio. Air was directly separated through a 17 m-thick THC/EC(1.5/98.5) membrane to prepare an oxygen-enriched air containing 39.5% oxygen at the flux of 6.99×10^–4 cm³ (STP)/s.cm² at the pressure difference of 0.43 MPa and 85 °C.

Two new acyltetramic acids related to streptolydigin have been isolated from fermentations of Streptomyces lydicus. The principal members of this complex were resolved by TLC on silica gel. However, the methods of detection, permanganate spray or bioautography, were not suitable for both crude fermentation broths and purified extracts. Gas chromatography is unsuitable for the detection of either underivatized or silylated streptolydigins. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) particularly on triethylaminoethyl cellulose is rapid and sensitive and is the method of choice for the analysis of both crude and purified samples. Using high performance liquid chromatography, two components were detected in the complex, which are not observed using any of the other chromatographic procedures.
