The ridge waveguide fabrication with periodically poled MgO-doped lithium niobate for green laser 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Ridge waveguides were fabricated using an external field, a precision lapping machine and neutron loop discharge (NLD) in magnesium-oxide-doped lithium niobate. The measured quasi-phase-matching (QPM) wavelength of the second-harmonic generation (SHG) in a 30 mm long periodically poled magnesium-doped lithium niobate (PPMgLN) ridge waveguide which has a domain period of 6.8 μm is about 532 nm. A fabricated periodically poled magnesium-doped lithium niobate ridge waveguide was duty cycle of 51.9 ± 2.83% and demonstrated second-harmonic generation. By using this periodically poled magnesium-doped lithium niobate ridge waveguide, highly effective, low-cost optical devices with high power or short wavelength can be achieved. 相似文献

Oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) is a promising way to convert methane into C_2 hydrocarbons. However, CO_2 and H_2O are by-products of the reaction. To utilize the higher activity of lanthanum oxide and save its usage, MgO supported La_2O_3 catalyst was prepared. Surface modification of the catalyst with nitric acid was made to suppress the formation of the by-products. Experimental results indicated that the addition of nitric acid increased the surface oxygen species with binding energy of ca. 531.7 eV and at the same time reduced the pore volume of the catalyst. These effects of nitric acid finally led to the increase of C_2 selectivity and the decrease of the by-products formation. Hydrogen selectivity was found about 14%- 18% over the catalysts adopted in this work. 相似文献

The preparation and characterization of a series of magnesium(II) iodide complexes incorporating β‐diketiminate ligands of varying steric bulk and denticity, namely, [(ArNCMe)2CH]? (Ar=phenyl, (PhNacnac), mesityl (MesNacnac), or 2,6‐diisopropylphenyl (Dipp, DippNacnac)), [(DippNCtBu)2CH]? (tBuNacnac), and [(DippNCMe)(Me2NCH2CH2NCMe)CH]? (DmedaNacnac) are reported. The complexes [(PhNacnac)MgI(OEt2)], [(MesNacnac)MgI(OEt2)], [(DmedaNacnac)MgI(OEt2)], [(MesNacnac)MgI(thf)], [(DippNacnac)MgI(thf)], [(tBuNacnac)MgI], and [(tBuNacnac)MgI(DMAP)] (DMAP=4‐dimethylaminopyridine) were shown to be monomeric by X‐ray crystallography. In addition, the related β‐diketiminato beryllium and calcium iodide complexes, [(MesNacnac)BeI] and [{(DippNacnac)CaI(OEt2)}2] were prepared and crystallographically characterized. The reductions of all metal(II) iodide complexes by using various reagents were attempted. In two cases these reactions led to the magnesium(I) dimers, [(MesNacnac)MgMg(MesNacnac)] and [(tBuNacnac)MgMg(tBuNacnac)]. The reduction of a 1:1 mixture of [(DippNacnac)MgI(OEt2)] and [(MesNacnac)MgI(OEt2)] with potassium gave a low yield of the crystallographically characterized complex [(DippNacnac)Mg(μ‐H)(μ‐I)Mg(MesNacnac)]. All attempts to form beryllium(I) or calcium(I) dimers by reductions of [(MesNacnac)BeI], [{(DippNacnac)CaI(OEt2)}2], or [{(tBuNacnac)CaI(thf)}2] have so far been unsuccessful. The further reactivity of the magnesium(I) complexes [(MesNacnac)MgMg(MesNacnac)] and [(tBuNacnac)MgMg(tBuNacnac)] towards a variety of Lewis bases and unsaturated organic substrates was explored. These studies led to the complexes [(MesNacnac)Mg(L)Mg(L)(MesNacnac)] (L=THF or DMAP), [(MesNacnac)Mg(μ‐AdN6Ad)Mg(MesNacnac)] (Ad=1‐adamantyl), [(tBuNacnac)Mg(μ‐AdN6Ad)Mg(tBuNacnac)], and [(MesNacnac)Mg(μ‐tBu2N2C2O2)Mg(MesNacnac)] and revealed that, in general, the reactivity of the magnesium(I) dimers is inversely proportional to their steric bulk. The preparation and characterization of [(tBuNacnac)Mg(μ‐H)2Mg(tBuNacnac)] has shown the compound to have different structural and physical properties to [(tBuNacnac)MgMg(tBuNacnac)]. Treatment of the former with DMAP has given [(tBuNacnac)Mg(H)(DMAP)], the X‐ray crystal structure of which disclosed it to be the first structurally authenticated terminal magnesium hydride complex. Although attempts to prepare [(MesNacnac)Mg(μ‐H)2Mg(MesNacnac)] were not successful, a neutron diffraction study of the corresponding magnesium(I) complex, [(MesNacnac)MgMg(MesNacnac)] confirmed that the compound is devoid of hydride ligands. 相似文献

Nitric acid is commonly used for surface treatments of aluminium alloys. It is used to clean the surfaces after alkaline etching; it has application in chemical polishing and is also used for electrograining. The majority of these treatments undergo the application of anodic polarisation that results in formation of anodic oxide film. However, little is known about the behaviour of aluminium containing magnesium or titanium in solid solution under such conditions. To reveal the effects of magnesium and titanium alloying additions on anodic film formation in nitric acid, Al‐1800 ppm Mg and Al‐800 ppm Ti alloys were investigated. It was found that porous alumina film developed on the surfaces with reduced efficiency of 40%, due to the reactive nature of nitric acid to alumina. The presence of magnesium and titanium in aluminium had little influence on the efficiency of film growth, as confirmed by the relatively similar thicknesses of oxide formed on binary alloys and aluminium. However, incorporation of magnesium ions into the alumina film led to development of a high‐population density of localised voids near the alloy/film interface. The formation of O2? radical anions by contact of O2 molecules with a Na pre‐covered MgO surface is studied by a combined EPR and quantum chemical approach. Na atoms deposited on polycrystalline MgO samples are brought into contact with O2. The typical EPR signal of isolated Na atoms disappears when the reaction with O2 takes place and new paramagnetic species are observed, which are attributed to different surface‐stabilised O2? radicals. Hyperfine sublevel correlation (HYSCORE) spectroscopy allows the superhyperfine interaction tensor of O2?Na+ species to be determined, demonstrating the direct coordination of the O2? adsorbate to surface Na+ cations. DFT calculations enable the structural details of the formed species to be determined. Matrix‐isolated alkali superoxides are used as a standard to enable comparison of the formed species, revealing important and unexpected contributions of the MgO matrix in determining the electronic structure of the surface‐stabilised Na+?
