It has been discovered that the size of internal droplets in primary emulsion determines emulsion dispersion and stability in emulsion liquid membrane (ELM) process for removal of lignin from pulping wastewater. Generally, primary emulsion contains kerosene, Aliquat 336, sodium bicarbonate, as well as Span 80 as diluent, carrier, internal phase, and surfactant, respectively. Hence, this study had looked into the parameters, including concentration of surfactant, carrier, and stripping agent; emulsification speed and time; as well as agitation speed and time. As a result, the diameter of the smallest droplets (1.4 µm) was formed with maximum lignin extraction (95%), minimum swelling (5%) at 3% (w/v) surfactant concentration, 12,000 rpm of emulsification within 5 minutes, 0.01 M of Aliquat 336, 0.1 M of NaHCO3, and 250 rpm of extraction within 10 minutes.  相似文献

Es wird über die Entwicklung einer Meβanordnung zur kontinuierlichen Bestimmung des Sn-Gehaltes von Erztrürben direkt am Produktstromberichtet. Durch rechnerische Abschätzungen, die mit Hilfe eines entsprechenden Rechnerprogramms durchgeführt wurden, konnte ein Fillterverfahren (Anregungsenergie ca. 31 ke V) als die für die diesen Anwendungsfall am besten geeignete Variante des Röntgenfluoreszenzurefahrens ausgewählt werden. Die Einflässe des Meβfensters, der Korngröe, der Trübedichte, derKernladungszahl von Sekundärtarget und Filter werden diskutiert. Die Meβanordnung besteht aus einem Röntgenquelle mit einem 211 Am-Strahler und einem Sekundärstrahlungstarget. Die Betriebserprobung der Meβanordnung erfolgte im VEB Bergbau- und Hüttenkombinat “Albert Funk”, Betrieb Zinnerz Altenberg.  相似文献

The mechanical, physical, and chemical properties of recycled pulps were evaluated after a series of treatments designed to improve and/or modify the pulp characteristics. Tensile strength, bursting strength, and apparent density of the pulps decreased with recycling. However, the tear strength, in most cases, increased after the first recycle and then decreased after the second recycle. Carboxyl content and WRV of pulps also decreased with recycling. Chemical treatments did not increase the bonding ability of recycled pulps and, in most cases, decreased the physical properties of the pulps. Altering the physical state of the cellulose microstructure through additional swelling did not appear to be a significant factor for strength restoration. It may be that the hemicelluloses plan a greater role in recycling than originally thought.  相似文献

Research has intensified in recent years on organic solvent pulping processes to supplement or replace conventional pulping processes. One of the main problems with organosolv pulps is the inferior tear strength compared to kraft pulps. An investigation of the properties of two acidic (acetic acid organosolv and acid sulfite) and one basic white spruce pulp (kraft) was carried out to determine factors affecting differences in tear strength. Properties evaluated were lignin and sugar content, mineral composition, ESCA oxygen-to-carbon ratios, acid-base characteristics, water wettabilities, degree of polymerization and crystallinity of cellulose, fiber length and coarseness, and physical properties of the various pulps. Differences in tear strength have been attributed to degradation and changes in the cellulose structure, the hemicellulose-lignin matrix in which the degree of polymerization of hemicelluloses plays the most important role in low yield pulps, and finally, the bonding capacity of the fiber surfaces.  相似文献

New acidic organosolv pulping processes, such as Acetosolv, Formacell and Milox, promise to have superior potential in terms of purification selectivity and specific investment costs. Consequently, a thorough investigation of these new acidic pulping processes in comparison to state-of-the-art acidic magnesium sulfite technology was conducted. The impact of pulping and bleaching parameters on the physical and chemical characteristics was studied to compare process efficiency and selectivity for each type of pulp made from Eucalypt wood. In addition to a detailed analysis of the chemical composition and physical properties on a molecular and supramolecular level, the TCF-bleached dissolving pulps were tested for their applicability in viscose fiber production. The influence of pulp properties as determined by standard and advanced analytical methods on process performance and selected fiber properties is emphasized.  相似文献

Summary A method to determine residues of diflubenzuron (DFB), teflubenzuron (TFB), triflumuron (TFM) at 0.01 ppm with recoveries above 60% in apple and pear pulps for baby food is described. DFB, TFB and TFM are extracted with methanol, and cleaned up by SPE using C18 stationary phase and methanol mobile phase. Analysis of the three pesticides is by SFC-UV at 254 nm using a Diol column, and CO2 at 30 MPa and 40°C modified with acetonitrile (10%) mobile phase.  相似文献

Various cellulose and pulp samples including softwood bleached kraft pulp (SBKP) were dissolved in 8% lithium chloride/1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone (LiCl/DMI) and 8% LiCl/N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc), and the obtained solutions were subjected to size-exclusion chromatographic analysis with multi-angle light scattering detection (SEC-MALLS). Although SBKP was not completely soluble in 8% LiCl/DMAc, 1% LiCl/DMI always gave a clear solution of SBKP without centrifugation. Molecular mass (MM) and MM distribution measurements using 1% LiCl/DMI as an eluent for the SEC-MALLS analysis revealed that SBKP had MM higher than those of the other cellulose and pulp samples at the same elution volume. The slope of the conformation plots for SBKP showed an anomalously low value of 0.41, while those for other cellulose and pulp samples were in the range of 0.57–0.59, which corresponds to the normal random coil conformations. These results indicate that some compact structures like branches or cross-linkages other than molecular-dispersed states are present in the high MM region of SBKP, which can be detected when the LiCl/DMI solvent system is used as the solvent as well as the eluent for the SEC-MALLS analysis. On the other hand, no such structures were observed for the other cellulose and pulp samples including softwood bleached sulfite pulps. Thus, the compact structures present in SBKP are likely to be susceptible to acid treatments.  相似文献

This study investigates the adsorption of (glucurono)arabinoxylan (GAX) on cellulose fibres and the properties thereof. A water-soluble GAX, from barley husks (Hordeum vulgare), was isolated using chlorite delignification and alkaline extraction followed by enzymatic purification. The isolated GAX fraction showed an arabinose to xylose ratio of 0.22 and a weight average molar mass of 20,200 g/mol, as determined by size exclusion chromatography (SEC) in DMSO:H2O. The GAX was adsorbed on cellulose fibres under well controlled conditions, where temperature and initial concentration of GAX proved to be important parameters in controlling the level of adsorption. The adsorption process was also dependent on xylan molecular structure. Carbohydrate analysis on the modified fibres showed a preferential adsorption of low substituted xylans (arabinose to xylose ratio of ∼0.10). During the adsorption process the GAX solution was analyzed using SEC-RI-MALLS in aqueous solvent, which demonstrated a molecular xylan adsorption on cellulose fibres. Additionally, a decrease in light scattering responses, which corresponds to an adsorption of aggregated xylan and/or xylan with a great tendency towards self-association, could be observed during the adsorption process. This was demonstrated by adsorption of GAX on regenerated cellulose fibres (Lyocell), which compared to native fibres possesses a relatively smooth fibre surface. Atomic force microscopy analysis visualised a heterogeneous decoration of the Lyocell fibres with xylan agglomerates. The effect of GAX adsorption on paper strength was also investigated. A GAX modified kraft pulp showed an evident increase in tensile strength, which might be due to a retained fibre–fibre bonding ability for xylan coated fibrils after drying and rewetting.  相似文献
