SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF KINETICALLY STABILIZED 1,3-DIPHOSPHACYCLOBUTENE DERIVATIVES

1-(2,4,6-Tri-tert-butylphenyl)-2-phosphaethyne (1) was allowed to react with 0.5 equiv of an alkyllithium and subsequently with an alcohol to afford a bulky 1,3-diphosphacyclobutene, and its structure and coordination properties on transition metals were investigated. On the other hand, 1 was allowed to react with an alkyllithium and iodomethane to form a stable biradical, 1,3-diphosphacyclobutane-2,4-diyl.     

Cohen and multiple Cohen strongly summing multilinear operators

Considering the successful theory of multiple summing multilinear operators as a prototype, we introduce the classes of multiple Cohen strongly p-summing multilinear operators and polynomials. The adequacy of these classes under the viewpoint of the theory of multilinear and polynomial ideals and holomorphy types is discussed in detail.     

Controlled Activity Polymers. IV. Copolymers of 2-(1-Naphthylacetyl)Ethyl Acrylate With Hydrophilic Comonomers: Synthesis and Characterization

2-(1-Naphthylacetyl)ethyl acrylate (NAEA) was synthesized by esterification of 1-naphthylacetic acid (NAA) and 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate (HEA) and then polymerized to obtain the polymer-bound auxin NAA. The resulting polymer is potentially useful as a plant growth regulator through hydrolytic release of NAA. Copolymers of NAEA with hydrophilic comonomers were prepared by solution polymerization. The copolymer compositions were determined from elemental analysis, ¹³C-NMR, and UV spectroscopy. The copolymer microstructure was predicted from the reactivity ratios in order to investigate the influence on the behavior of controlled release. These model structures will be utilized for assessment of structure/hydrolysis relationships in a subsequent paper.     

Low-energy points on the sphere and the real projective plane

We present a generalization of a family of points on ${\mathbb{S}}^2$, the Diamond ensemble, containing collections of N points on ${\mathbb{S}}^2$ with very small logarithmic energy for all $N\in \mathbb{N}$. We extend this construction to the real projective plane ${\mathbb{RP}}^2$ and we obtain upper and lower bounds with explicit constants for the Green and logarithmic energy on this last space.     

The Kinetics of Reduction of Sulfoxides by the Iodide Ion in Aqueous Perchloric Acid

Abstract

The kinetics of the acid-catalyzed reactions of di-n-butyl -sulfoxide (BuSOBu), di-phenylsulfoxide (PhSOPh), and di-benzyl -sulfoxide (PhCH₂SOCH₂Ph) with iodide in a medium of HCLO₄ has been followed; the reaction orders with respect to sulfoxide and iodide have been determined and a possible mechanism discussed.

提出国家电网公司在实施设备的检修作业时尽量减少停电时间,以实现电缆线路状态的有效监控的重要意义.分析缩短单点作业时间的末端影响因素.提出三角模糊集、指数模糊集用于权重设置的具体途径,应用OWA算子于因素排序评价数值的加权,并拓展其基本原理和方法,使其对极端评分值有所抑制对中间评分值有所提升.以上海市电力公司检修公司为研究背景,应用直觉模糊集及其IFHA集成方法于缩短单点作业时间的末端影响因素评价指标排序,并得出u_≥u_≥u_1u_4u_6≥u_2u_3的结论.
