The reaction of 1H‐indol‐2,3‐diones with 1,6‐dibromohexane has resulted in the formation of new 1H‐indol‐2,3‐diones‐1,1′‐(1,6‐hexanediyl)bis in quantitative yields. These compounds have been used for the synthesis of novel [3′‐(2,3‐dimethyl‐5‐oxo‐1‐phenyl‐3‐pyrazolin‐4‐yl)spiro[3H‐indol‐3,2′‐thiazolidine]‐2,4′‐dione]‐1,1′‐(1,6‐hexanediyl)bis via bis Schiff's bases, [3‐(2,3‐dimethyl‐5‐oxo‐1‐phenyl‐3‐pyrazolin‐4‐yl) imino‐1H‐indol‐2‐one]‐1,1′‐(1,6‐hexanediyl)bis.  相似文献

A novel method for the synthesis of 6,12‐dihydro‐2‐methylindolo[2,3‐b]carbazol‐6‐ones was developed from 1‐oxo‐2,3,4,9‐tetrahydro‐1H‐carbazol‐1‐one through methyl 6‐methyl‐2‐(1‐oxo‐2,3,4,9‐tetrahydro‐1H‐carbazol‐2‐yl)oxoacetate in good yields. This method provides an alternative path for the synthesis of this product using 2‐hydroxy methylene‐2,3,4,9‐tetrahydro‐1H‐carbazol‐1‐one.  相似文献

The synthesis of benzimidazoles has been achieved in a one-pot reaction in excellent yield using a newly developed methodology. 2,5-Disubstituted-3-cyanoacetyl indoles were directly condensed with substituted orthophenylenediamine via microwave irradiation under neat, solid support, and conventional conditions in a short time to afford the corresponding products in good yields. Structures of the products thus obtained were confirmed by their melting points, infrared, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and mass spectral data.

This report describes the development of a first and second generation approach towards the synthesis of the ABCEG pentacyclic core structure of Strychnos alkaloids. First, we discuss a sequential approach applying a series of functional group transformations to prepare suitable precursors for cyclization reactions. These include attempts of samarium diiodide‐induced cyclizations or a Barbier‐type reaction of a transient lithium organyl, which successfully led to a tetracyclic key building block earlier used for the synthesis of strychnine. Secondly, we account our first steps towards the development of an atom‐economical samarium diiodide‐induced cascade reaction using “dimeric” indolyl ketones as cyclization precursors. In this context, we discuss plausible mechanisms for the samarium diiodide‐induced cascade reaction as well as transformations of the obtained tetracyclic dihydroindoline derivatives.  相似文献

A new method was adopted for the synthesis of benzo[b]carbazoles by Claisen condensation followed by Fischer indole cyclization. Newly synthesized benzo[b]carbazoles were treated with ethanol amine in the presence of polyphosphoric acid which leads to the formation of pyrazino carbazoles. A facile protocol for the one-pot, multicomponent reaction of indole, 4-hydroxycoumarin, and aromatic aldehydes was developed using copper octoate as an inexpensive, commercially available, and efficient catalyst. This highly selective reaction eliminates the formation of homodimeric by-products (bisindoles and biscoumarins) and selectively results in the formation of heterodimeric adducts containing both indole and coumarin heterocycles.  相似文献

A concise, two-step eco-friendly approach towards the synthesis of 5-sulfenyl tetrazole derivatives of indoles and pyrroles, is reported. The synthesis comprises the oxone-mediated thiocyanation of the starting heterocycles towards intermediate 3-thiocyanato indoles and 2-thiocyanato pyrroles, and their subsequent treatment with sodium azide in 2-propanol/water under zinc bromide promotion.  相似文献

Three new psychollatine-derived monoterpene indole alkaloids were obtained from Psychotria umbellata Thonn.: 3,4-Dehydro-18,19-β-epoxy-psychollatine (2), N4-[1-((R)-2-hydroxypropyl)]-psychollatine (3), and N4-[1-((S)-2-hydroxypropyl)]-psychollatine (4). Their structures were determined by 1H and 13C NMR spectra, 2D correlations (COSY, HMQC, and HMBC), and mass and UV spectra. Compounds 3 and 4 were synthesized for structural confirmation and for the determination of the stereochemistry of the hydroxyl group.  相似文献

Heterocyclic fused-ring systems are of utmost importance because of their presence in many natural products with biological activity. Pyrroloindoles are tricyclic heterocycles that are present in various bioactive and medicinally valuable compounds. Herein, we report the synthesis of phenylene-bridged bis-pyrrolo[1,2-a]indole crowned macrocycles 1 – 3 in which the pyrrolo[1,2-a]indole moieties were formed via intramolecular fusion. The macrocycles were thoroughly characterized by 1D and 2D NMR, HRMS and X-ray crystallographic studies. The X-ray structure revealed that the two pyrrolo[1,2-a]indole moieties were parallel to each other, and one pyrrolo[1,2-a]indole unit was deviated by an angle of 9.54° while the other pyrrolo[1,2-a]indole unit was deviated by an angle of 12.0° from the mean plane defined by 28 core atoms. The macrocycles 1 – 3 absorb in the visible region and readily undergo oxidations because of their electron rich nature. The macrocycles 1 – 3 upon treatment with trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) generates the corresponding cation radicals 1 – 3 .+ which were stable in the open air for a week. The cation radicals 1 – 3 .+ absorb strongly in the NIR region and the experimental observations on crowned macrocycles 1 – 3 were corroborated by DFT and TD-DFT studies.  相似文献

After geometry optimization, the electron spectra of indole and four azaindoles are calculated by density functional theory. Available experimental photoemission and excitation data for indole and 7-azaindole are used to compare with the theoretical values. The results for the other azaindoles are presented as predictions to help the interpretation of experimental spectra when they become available.  相似文献
