Compact Kähler Surfaces with Trivial Canonical Bundle

The classical conjectures of Weil on K3 surfaces – that the set of suchsurfaces is connected; that a version of the Torelli theorem holds; thateach such surface is Kähler; and that the period map issurjective – are reconsidered in the light of a generalisation of theNakai–Moishezon criterion, and short proofs of all the conjectures aregiven. Most of the proofs apply equally or with minor variation tocomplex 2-tori, the only other compact Kähler surfaces with trivialcanonical bundle.     

Analytical study of a flattened Gaussian beam through multi-apertured optical imaging systems of B = 0

By using the methods of the matrix decomposition and expansion of the hard-edged aperture function into a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions, the recurrence propagation expressions for a flattened Gaussian beam (FGB) through multi-apertured optical imaging systems of B = 0 are derived and illustrated with numerical examples. Comparisons with the straightforward numerical integration of the Collins formula and with the previous work are made. It is shown that the main advantages of our methods and results are the more accuracy and great reduction of computer time.     

多排叶片内部流动以及叶片排与排气系统相互作用研究

本文采用高分辨率格式和多块多网格方法求解雷诺平均Navier-Stokes方程,数值模拟多排叶片内的三维粘性流动;使用数值激盘模拟叶片排的存在,研究叶片排与非轴对称排气部件之间的相互作用以及复杂的内部流动。文中描述了数值方法,给出了NASA透平导叶和单级透平内部流场的数值结果及其与相应实验结果的对比,也给出了多级透平内部流场的数值结果,以及透平与排气部件之间的耦合流场的结果。     

Second order three boundary value problem in Banach spaces via Henstock and Henstock-Kurzweil-Pettis integral

Existence theorems and some properties of solutions set of three boundary value second order differential equations and inclusions in Banach spaces are obtained under Henstock, respectively Henstock-Kurzweil-Pettis integrability assumptions. Our results extend those obtained by Azzam, Castaing and Thibault in the Bochner integrability setting and in the Pettis integrability one. The continuity of the (unique) solution with respect to a parameter in the single-valued case is also studied.     

WZW–Poisson manifolds

We observe that a term of the WZW-type can be added to the Lagrangian of the Poisson σ-model in such a way that the algebra of the first class constraints remains closed. This leads to a natural generalization of the concept of Poisson geometry. The resulting “WZW–Poisson” manifold M is characterized by a bivector Π and by a closed three-form H such that 1/2[Π,Π]_Schouten=H,ΠΠΠ.     

ON DIRICHLET TYPE SPACES AND α-BLOCH SPACES IN THE UNIT BALL OF Cn

In this paper, the authors study the inclusion relations between Dirichlet type spaces DT and α-Bloch spacesβα by means of higher radial derivative. The strictness and the best possibility of the inclusion relations are shown with constructive methods.Furthermore, they sharpen one of the results when T = n, which proves that a conjecture in [7] is true.     

Photo-induced evolution of copper sheets from cluster molecules and its application to photolithographic copper patterning

UV photoexcitation of (t-butylethynyl copper)₂₄ cluster films induces segregation of the crystals into metallic and organic phases and leads to evolve the metallic sheets sandwiched by organic polymers. The growth of the metallic crystals in the plane of the photo-electromagnetic field is attributed due to plasmon-plasmon interaction among nanoparticles embedded in dielectric polymer matrices. The surface enhanced photochemical reaction of residual cluster molecules on the photon incident direction is expected to take an important role for joining the metal particles to produce a metallic sheet. We can apply this phenomenon for photolithographic copper pattern generation on a flexible base plate.     

Thermal conductance for single wall carbon nanotubes

We report a theoretical analysis of the phonon thermal conductance, κ(T), for single wall carbon nanotubes (SWCN). In a range of low temperatues up to 100 K, κ(T) of perfect SWCN is found to increase with temperature, approximately, in a parabolic fashion. This is qualitatively consistent with recent experimental measurements where the tube-tube interactions are negligibly weak. When the carbon-carbon bond length is slightly varied, κ(T) is found to be qualitatively unaltered which implies that the anharmonic effect does not change the qualitative behavior of κ(T). The equations of a holomorphic subspace in a complex Finsler space

In [Mu1] we underlined the motifs of holomorphic subspaces in a complex Finsler space: induced nonlinear connection, coupling connections, and the induced tangent and normal connections. In the present paper we investigate the equations of Gauss, H-and A-Codazzi, and Ricci equations of a holomorphic subspace. We deduce the link between the holomorphic curvatures of the Chern-Finsler connection and its induced tangent connection. Conditions for totally geodesic holomorphic subspaces are obtained.
