The thermodynamic properties of 135 polychlorinated phenothiazines (PCPTZs) in the standard state are calculated using a combination of quantum mechanical computations performed with the Gaussian 03 program at the B3LYP/6-311G** level, and their octanol-water partition coefficients (logKow) are calculated based on group contributions. The chlorine substitution pattern strongly influenced the thermodynamic properties and hydrophilicity of the compounds. The thermodynamic properties of congeners also depend on the chlorine substitution pattern. The effect of chlorine substitution pattern is quantitatively studied by considering the number and position of Cl atom substitution (NPCS). The results show that the NPCS model may be used to predict the thermodynamic properties and hydrophilicity for all 135 PCPTZ congeners. 相似文献

Plasma‐induced graft‐polymerization (PIGP) method was utilized in this study to improve corrosion behavior and biocompatibility of titanium (Ti) surface. Bioactive molecule polyacrylamide (PAM) was immobilized onto Ti surface by introducing silanederivatized spacer arms as an intermediary for the covalent linkage. Ti was firstly activated by O2 plasma, and oxygen‐containing groups were introduced on its surface consequently. The intermediary mercapto silane spacer molecules were then covalently linked to the oxidated surface, followed by the covalent binding of PAM and the sulfhydryl‐terminal groups via PIGP. Surface analyses following modification process included water contact angles (CA), SEM, attenuated total reflection‐Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR‐FTIR), XPS and atomic force microscope (AFM). The results revealed the effectiveness of this method on immobilizing PAM to Ti surface, and the hydrophilicity of modified surface improved remarkably. In addition, potentiodynamic polarization and cellular proliferation tests were implemented to validate the enhanced corrosion‐resistance and biocompatibility of modified Ti surface, respectively. 利用前驱物形貌导向法,成功制备了Co9S8/MoS2异质结构催化剂,该催化剂在碱性析氢反应(HER)中表现出优异的催化活性及稳定性,其在10 mA·cm-2处的过电势仅为84 mV.通过X射线粉末衍射(XRD)、透射电子显微镜(TEM)、电子自旋共振(ESR)、拉曼光谱(Raman)、X射线光电子能谱(XPS)和同步辐射(XAFS)等表征,证明了CoS2/MoS2在H2氛围下煅烧形成Co9S8/MoS2的过程中,CoS2中Co的配位模式从部分八面体向Co9S8中的四面体转变,这种转变可活化MoS2的惰性平面,从而使其更有利于吸附H*.除此之外,接触角数据表明:该催化剂具有良好的亲水性,有利于电解液渗透及气体分子的迅速扩散,从而促进HER反应速率.由于异质结构间具有强烈的相互作用,该催化剂可表现出良好的结构稳定性.本工作基于Co9S8/MoS2异质结构的成功构筑及对其HER催化机理的充分探讨,为后续硫化物异质结及其在电催化中的应用提供了良好的思路和研究基础. 相似文献

To determine the crucial role of surfactant head-group size in micellar enzymology, the activity of Chromobacterium Viscosum (CV) lipase was estimated in cationic water-in-oil (w/o) microemulsions of three different series of surfactants with varied head-group size and hydrophilicity. The different series were prepared by subsequent replacement of three methyl groups of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) with hydroxyethyl (1-3, series I), methoxyethyl (4-6, series II), and n-propyl (7-9, series III) groups. The hydrophilicity at the polar head was gradually reduced from series I to series III. Interestingly, the lipase activity was found to be markedly higher for series II surfactants relative to their more hydrophilic analogues in series I. Moreover, the activity remained almost comparable for complementary analogues of both series I and III, though the hydrophilicity was drastically different. Noticeably, the head-group area per surfactant is almost similar for comparable surfactants of both series I and III, but distinctly higher in case of series II surfactants. Thus the lipase activity was largely regulated by the surfactant head-group size, which plays the dominant role over the hydrophilicity. The increase in head-group size presumably allows the enzyme to attain a flexible conformation as well as increase in the local concentration of enzyme and substrate, leading to the higher efficiency of lipase. The lipase showed its best activity in the microemulsion of 6 probably because of its highest head-group size. Furthermore, the observed activity in 6 is 2-3-fold and 8-fold higher than sodium bis(2-ethyl-1-hexyl)sulfosuccinate (AOT) and CTAB-based microemulsions, respectively, and in fact highest ever in any w/o microemulsions. 相似文献

采用浸渍提拉法制得TiO2,ZnO,Fe2O3,ZnO/TiO2,TiO2/ZnO,Fe2O3/TiO2和TiO2/Fe2O3石英玻璃基底负载膜.光催化降解亚甲基蓝实验表明,TiO2和ZnO具有良好的光催化活性,Fe2O3活性较差.但形成异质结后,TiO2和Fe2O3的光催化降解能力发生明显的变化.用254nm紫外光光照后,TiO2,ZnO和Fe2O3等3种氧化物膜与水的接触角均有不同程度的降低,TiO2表现出超亲水性,ZnO/TiO2和Fe2O3/TiO2膜与水的接触角小于对应的单纯ZnO和Fe2O3膜与水的接触角,其中Fe2O3/TiO2表面出现超亲水性.瞬态光电导谱的少数载流子寿命的测定表明,异质结势垒电场能有效地增强光生电子-空穴对的分离效率.根据能带理论建立的两组异质结能带模型可合理地解释实验结果. 相似文献

采用射频磁控溅射TiO2陶瓷靶的方法在硅和石英衬底上制备纳米TiO2薄膜,并经950℃退火1h.通过X射线衍射(XRD)、原子力显微镜(AFM)、紫外可见光谱(UV-Vis)和接触角仪对薄膜相结构、表面形貌、光学性能和亲水性能进行表征.结果表明,与950℃退火1h相比,未退火薄膜是无定形结构并呈现较高的光致亲水性能.退火薄膜是锐钛矿和金红石混合相,其中锐钛矿相质量分数是11.34%.未退火和950℃退火1h的薄膜样品的能隙分别是3.03 eV和3.11 eV.未退火薄膜具有较高的光致亲水性能主要归因于其较低的光学能隙.退火薄膜的热致亲水性能与其相结构、表面清洁度和粗糙度有关. 相似文献

Summary: Under UV irradiation plus a photomask, a hydrophilic/hydrophobic hybrid polymer surface is created by sandwiching an ammonium persulfate solution between two polymer films. It is demonstrated that an effective conductive PANI micropattern can be fabricated on such a wettability patterned surface. For PET, a stable negative micropattern could be formed directly by the selective deposition of PANI onto the hydrophobic region. Alternatively, for PP or PI, direct deposition of PANI is non‐selective, however, the PANI layer remains preferentially on the hydrophilic region by peeling off the PANI layer on the hydrophobic region to form a positive micropattern.

This study investigated the surface characteristics and in vitro biocompatibility of a titanium (Ti) oxide layer incorporating calcium ions (Ca) obtained by hydrothermal treatment with or without post heat-treatment in the Ti-13Nb-13Zr alloy. The surface characteristics were evaluated by scanning electron microscopy, thin-film X-ray diffractometry, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy and contact angle measurements. In vitro biocompatibility of the Ca-containing surfaces was assessed in comparison with untreated surfaces using a pre-osteoblast cell line. Hydrothermal treatment produced a crystalline CaTiO3 layer. Post heat-treatment at 400 °C for 2 h in air significantly decreased water contact angles in the CaTiO3 layer (p < 0.001). The Ca-incorporated alloy surfaces displayed markedly increased cell viability and ALP activity compared with untreated surfaces (p < 0.001), and also an upregulated expression of various integrin genes (α1, α2, α5, αv, β1 and β3) at an early incubation time-point. Post heat-treatment further increased attachment and ALP activity in cells grown on Ca-incorporated Ti-13Nb-13Zr alloy surfaces. The results indicate that the Ca-incorporated oxide layer produced by hydrothermal treatment and a simple post heat-treatment may be effective in improving bone healing in Ti-13Nb-13Zr alloy implants by enhancing the viability and differentiation of osteoblastic cells. 相似文献

The shape, porosity, and surface hydrophilicity of hematite particles formed from a forced hydrolysis reaction of acidic FeCl3 solution were controlled by using a trace of polymers (0.001 and 0.003 wt%). The spherical particles were produced on the systems with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and polyaspartic acid (PAS). In the case of polyacryl amide (PAAm), slightly small spherical particles were precipitated at 0.003 wt%. However, polyacrylic acid (PAAc) and poly-γ-glutamic acid (PGA) gave ellipsoidal particles. This morphological change on hematite particles depended on the order of functional groups of polymers as –OH<–CONH2<–COOH<–COOH and ⟩C=O, corresponding to the order in extent of polymer molecules for complexation to Fe3+ ions and adsorption onto particle surface. Accompanying this order, the hematite particles produced were changed from less porous to microporous. On the other hand, only the system with 0.003 wt% of PAAm produced mesoporous hematite particles. Choosing the kinds of polymers also controlled the ultramicroporosity and surface hydrophilicity of the particles. 相似文献
