f(Ricci) gravity is a special kind of higher curvature gravity whose bulk Lagrangian density is the trace of a matrix-valued function of the Ricci tensor. It is shown that under some mild constraints, f(Ricci) gravity admits Einstein manifolds as exact vacuum solutions, and can be ghost-free and tachyon-free around maximally symmetric Einstein vacua. It is also shown that the entropy for spherically symmetric black holes in f(Ricci) gravity calculated via the Wald method and the boundary Noether charge approach are in good agreement.  相似文献

We consider the most general static spherically symmetric black hole metric. The accretion of the fluid flow around the Van der Waal's black hole is investigated and we calculate the fluid's four-velocity, the critical point and the speed of sound during the accretion process. We also analyze the nature of the universe's density and the mass of the black hole during accretion of the fluid flow. The density of the fluid flow is also taken into account. We observe that the mass is related to redshift. We compare the accreting power of the Van der Waal's black hole with Schwarzschild black hole for different accreting fluid.  相似文献

An approximation of the orography gravity wave, which is induced by mountainous topography, is considered in this study. By assuming that the horizontal wind is a linear function with respect to the height, the approximating equation for the orography gravity waves is obtained. Four topography functions are considered in this study and the orography gravity wave are obtained. The dynamics of the orography gravity wave is then discussed by considering the effect of the surface topography and background horizontal wind.  相似文献

Where do entangled multiple-qubit systems store information? For information injected into a qubit, this question is nontrivial and interesting since the entanglement delocalizes the information. So far, a common picture is that of a qubit and its purification partner sharing the information quantum mechanically. Here, we introduce a new picture of a single qubit in the correlation space, referred to as quantum information capsule (QIC), confining the information perfectly. This picture is applicable for the entangled multiple-qubit system in an arbitrary state. Unlike the partner picture, in the QIC picture, by swapping the single-body state, leaving other subsystems untouched, the whole information can be retrieved out of the system. After the swapping process, no information remains in the system.  相似文献

The influence of the core‐hole effect on optical properties of magnesium oxide (MgO) is established through experimental determination of optical constants and first‐principles density functional theory studies. Optical constants (δ and β) of MgO thin film are measured in the spectral region 40–300 eV using reflectance spectroscopy techniques at the Indus‐1 synchrotron radiation source. The obtained optical constants show strong core exciton features near the Mg L‐edge region, causing significant mismatch with Henke's tabulated values. On comparing the experimentally obtained optical constants with Henke's tabulated values, an edge shift of ~3.0 eV is also observed. Distinct evidence of effects of core exciton on optical constants (δ and β) in the near Mg L‐edge absorption spectra are confirmed through first‐principles simulations.  相似文献

X‐ray absorption spectra calculated within an effective one‐electron approach have to be broadened to account for the finite lifetime of the core hole. For methods based on Green's function this can be achieved either by adding a small imaginary part to the energy or by convoluting the spectra on the real axis with a Lorentzian. By analyzing the Fe K‐ and L2,3‐edge spectra it is demonstrated that these procedures lead to identical results only for energies higher than a few core‐level widths above the absorption edge. For energies close to the edge, spurious spectral features may appear if too much weight is put on broadening via the imaginary energy component. Special care should be taken for dichroic spectra at edges which comprise several exchange‐split core levels, such as the L3‐edge of 3d transition metals.  相似文献

采用实验与理论模拟相结合的方法,研究了氮化镓基绿光发光二极管(LED)中V坑对空穴电流分布的影响。首先,实验获得了V坑面积占比不同的3种样品;然后,建立数值模型,使得理论计算的外量子效率(EQE)及电压与实验测试的变化趋势相匹配,从而确立了所用数值模型的可信性。计算结果显示:V坑改变了空穴电流的分布,空穴电流密度在V坑处显著增加,在平台处明显减小。进一步的分析表明:V坑面积占比在0~10%范围内,V坑空穴电流占比与V坑面积占比之间呈近线性增长(斜率为2.06),但V坑空穴注入在整个空穴注入的过程中仍未占主导。  相似文献

为了丰富介质阻挡放电系统中斑图的多样性,利用双水电极介质阻挡放电装置,在空气和氩气按一定比例混合的气体中(氩气含量χ=25%),发现了带晕蜂窝六边形斑图。通过观察用普通相机拍摄的斑图照片,可以发现斑图是由中心点、晕和蜂窝框架构成,且中心点位于晕的中心,中心点和晕嵌套在蜂窝框架的中心。采用带有3个通道的高速照相机对斑图进行分脉冲瞬态拍摄,结果显示带晕蜂窝六边形斑图的3套子结构在外加电压的半周期内,总是按照晕-蜂窝框架-中心点这样的顺序放电。运用光电倍增管对这3套子结构进行研究,发现晕的放电在时间和空间上具有局部选择性。利用发射光谱法,根据氮分子第二正带系(C3Πu→B3Πg)谱线计算了中心点、晕和蜂窝框架的分子振动温度,结果显示:中心点的分子振动温度为2 632 K,晕的分子振动温度为2 679 K,蜂窝框架的分子振动温度为2 720 K。本文利用壁电荷理论解释带晕蜂窝六边形斑图的形成机制和时空结构。  相似文献

We discuss the P-V criticality and phase transition in the extended phase space of Born-Infeld AdS (BIAdS) black hole surrounded by quintessence dark energy, where the cosmological constant ∧ is identified with the thermodynamical pressure P. Comparing with Van der Waals(VdW)-like SBH/LBH phase transition of Born-Infeld AdS (BI-AdS) black hole, we find that the BI-AdS black hole surrounded by quintessence dark energy possesses lower critical temperature because of parameter a > 0, even disappears since the parameter a taking enough large values leads to Tc ≤ 0. Moreover, the interesting thermodynamic phenomenon of reentrant phase transition (RPT) are also observed, and the quintessence dark energy plays a similar role in this RPT.  相似文献
