High-energy-density batteries are in urgent need to solve the ever-increasing energy storage demand for portable electronic devices, electric vehicles, and renewable solar and wind energy systems. Alkali metals, typically lithium(Li), sodium(Na) and potassium(K), are considered as the promising anode materials owing to their low electrochemical potential, low density, and high theoretical gravimetric capacities. However, the problem of dendrite growth of alkali metals during their plating/stripping process will lead to low Coulombic efficiencies, a short lifespan and huge volume expansion, eventually hindering their practical commercialization. To resolve this issue, a very effective approach is engineering the anodes on structured current collectors. This review summarizes the development of the alkali metal batteries and discusses the recent advances in rational design of anode current collectors. First, the challenges and strategies of suppressing alkali-metal dendrite growth are presented. Then the special attention is paid to the novel current collector design for dendrite-free alkali metal anodes. Finally, we give conclusions and perspective on the current challenges and future research directions toward advanced anode current collectors for alkali metal batteries.  相似文献

Eight independent cell lines accumulated ammonia in culture to concentrations between 1.3 and 2.9 mM. The growth inhibition of such concentrations of ammonium chloride when added to culture medium was variable. The cell lines tested could be divided into 3 groups depending on their growth response to 2 mM added NH4Cl. In the first group (293, HDF, Vero, and PQXB1/2) little (less than 14%) or no growth inhibition occurred. In the second group (McCoy and MDCK) a reduction in final cell yield of 50-60% was observed. The third group (HeLa and BHK) was most sensitive to the effects of NH4Cl with growth inhibition (greater than 75%) compared to controls. The growth inhibitory effect of added lactate up to 20 mM was negligible (less than 10%) for 3 cell lines, although one cell line (PQXB1/2) showed greater sensitivity. The interactive effects of ammonia and lactate were determined in a matrix experiment. At lactate (greater than 12 mM) and ammonia (1-4 mM), the growth inhibitory effects of the two components were synergistic. However, at low concentrations of lactate (less than 12 mM) the toxic effect of ammonia was reduced. A proposed mechanism for the sparing effect of lactate on ammonia toxicity is discussed. This may have importance in developing strategies for the optimal growth of ammonia-sensitive cell lines.  相似文献

Mixed oxides CoxAlyO4 with different Al/Co ratios applied as supports for the catalysts of the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis were prepared using the solid-state chemical reaction. The CoxAlyO4 supports were prepared by modifying gibbsite with various cobalt salts (acetate, nitrate, and basic carbonate). The use of basic cobalt carbonate gives the Co(20%)/CoxAlyO4 catalyst, which provides an increased yield of hydrocarbons C5+ and a decreased methane content compared to the impregnation catalyst Co(30%)/Al2O3. The introduction of small amounts of rhenium additives makes it possible to enhance the yield of hydrocarbons C5+ (179 g m−3) and also to increase the selectivity with respect to the C5–C18 fraction. The introduction of basic cobalt carbonate into the support, most likely, creates favorable conditions for the epitaxial growth of the precursor of the active phase. Dedicated to Academician G. A. The isocratic retention of two heparin-binding fibroblast growth factors, FGF-1 (acidic FGF) and FGF-2 (basic FGF), was compared on a set of six preparative strong cation-exchange adsorbents. The FGFs comprise a solute pair that are structurally equivalent, yet differ in protein parameters of potential importance in cation-exchange chromatography, such as isoelectric point, net charge, and the number and distribution of basic amino acids. The cation-exchange adsorbents comprise a diverse set of materials in common use for protein purification, with physical and chemical properties that have been characterized and described previously. Isocratic k' values for the two proteins obtained on each adsorbent at several different [NaCl] are compared with one another and with corresponding data for hen egg lysozyme, which is also strongly retained on cation-exchangers. Of the six adsorbents examined, three showed strong retention of both FGFs, with equivalent k' values for FGF-1 and FGF-2. Three others, which showed weaker overall retention for the FGF pair, showed much larger retention differences between FGF-1 and FGF-2. The trends in retention order among the stationary phases are very similar to those seen previously with other unrelated proteins. However, retention differences between the two FGFs, and between the FGFs and lysozyme, do not correlate well with simple charge properties such as net charge, indicating, as in some previous studies, the importance of local regions on the protein surface in determining retention. These observations are interpreted in terms of the structural features of the proteins and the physicochemical properties of the adsorbents.  相似文献

随着城市铁路系统的快速发展,铁路沿线建筑内人群对地铁运行产生噪声的抱怨逐渐增多,为控制室内地铁噪声对人群所产生的负面影响,有必要对地铁噪声产生的多维度负面情绪进行评估。采集了79名受试者对建筑内地铁噪声的多维度负面感受(压抑感,不舒适度和不满意度),基于偏最小二乘法分析了主客观影响因素对多维度负面感受的作用机制,并比较了多维度负面感受在反映地铁噪声影响上的差异。结果表明,多维度负面感受主要取决于主观响度和声学参数,活动干扰度、地铁噪声的敏感度、厌烦度和适应性的影响明显更弱;3个多维度负面感受中,相比于压抑感,不舒适度和不满意度受主观响度的影响轻微更显著,在相同的主观响度感受下,不满意度等级最高。 该文可以为地铁沿线建筑物内噪声负面感受的评价和改善提供参考。  相似文献

The scaled boundary finite element method (SBFEM) is a recently developed numerical method combining advantages of both finite element methods (FEM) and boundary element methods (BEM) and with its own special features as well. One of the most prominent advantages is its capability of calculating stress intensity factors (SIFs) directly from the stress solutions whose singularities at crack tips are analytically represented. This advantage is taken in this study to model static and dynamic fracture problems. For static problems, a remeshing algorithm as simple as used in the BEM is developed while retaining the generality and flexibility of the FEM. Fully-automatic modelling of the mixed-mode crack propagation is then realised by combining the remeshing algorithm with a propagation criterion. For dynamic fracture problems, a newly developed series-increasing solution to the SBFEM governing equations in the frequency domain is applied to calculate dynamic SIFs. Three plane problems are modelled. The numerical results show that the SBFEM can accurately predict static and dynamic SIFs, cracking paths and load-displacement curves, using only a fraction of degrees of freedom generally needed by the traditional finite element methods.The project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (50579081) and the Australian Research Council (DP0452681)The English text was polished by Keren Wang.  相似文献

The use of substances or conditions as elicitors can significantly increase the production of secondary metabolites. In this research, the effects of different elicitors on the production of antioxidant secondary metabolites were evaluated in a strain of Ganoderma sp. The elicitors tested were pH changes in different growth phases of the fungus (pH 3, 5.5 and 8), different concentrations of peptone as a nitrogen source (1 g/L and 10 g/L), and the addition of chemical agents to the culture medium (ethanol, growth regulators, and salts). The alkaline pH during the stationary phase and the high availability of nitrogen were effective elicitors, producing cultures with higher antioxidant activity (37.87 g/L and 43.13 g/L dry biomass) although there were no significant differences with other treatments.  相似文献

本文将金融发展作为一个独立解释变量引入,构造经济增长的面板数据模型,运用面板数据以1994年为分界点分两阶段实证分析了全国及东、中、西部地区1985~2003年金融发展对经济增长的影响,以及东、中、西部地区影响的差异性,模型较好地拟合了数据。实证分析表明,各地区之间金融发展的不平衡性可以部分解释其经济增长的差异性。  相似文献
