A series of new sterically modulated chlorocoumarin‐substituted (benz)imidazolium salts and their bis‐N‐heterocyclic carbene silver(I) complexes were prepared and characterized. The complexes were prepared in good yields following the in situ deprotonation method by treating azolium salts with silver(I) oxide in the dark. All the compounds were characterized using various spectroscopic and analytical methods. Additionally, one of the benzimidazolium salts was characterized using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction technique. In this salt, intermolecular π–π stacking interactions operate between benzimidazole as well as coumarin heterocyclic systems with adjacent molecules. In the preliminary antibacterial studies, the silver complexes were found more active than the corresponding salts against a panel of bacterial strains. Interestingly, the complexes displayed improved antibacterial efficacy against Escherichia coli strain, comparable with that of the standard drug ampicillin.  相似文献

A novel hybrid magnetic nanocatalyst was synthesized by covalent coating of Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles with choline chloride–urea deep eutectic solvent using 3‐iodopropyltrimethoxysilane as a linker. The structure of this new catalyst was fully characterized via elemental analysis, transmission and scanning electron microscopies, X‐ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. It was employed in the synthesis of various 2‐amino‐4H ‐pyran derivatives in water solution via an easy and green procedure. The desired products were obtained in high yields via a three‐component reaction between aromatic aldehyde, enolizable carbonyl and malononitrile at room temperature. The employed nanocatalyst was easily recovered using a magnetic field and reused four times (in subsequent runs) with less than 8% decrease in its catalytic activity.  相似文献

Aryl halides and especially inactive aryl chlorides were coupled to benzenoid aromatic rings in a Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction in the absence of organic solvents and toxic phosphine ligands. The reaction was catalysed by a recoverable magnetic nanocatalyst, Pd@Fe3O4, in aqueous media. This method is green, and the catalyst is easily removed from the reaction media using an external magnetic field and can be re‐used at least 10 times without any considerable loss in its activity. The catalyst was characterized using scanning and transmission electron microscopies, thermogravimetric analysis, inductively coupled plasma spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, CHN analysis, X‐ray diffraction and vibrating sample magnetometry.  相似文献

A red–near‐IR dual‐emissive nanocluster with the composition [Au10Ag2(2‐py?C≡C)3(dppy)6](BF4)5 ( 1 ; 2‐py?C≡C is 2‐pyridylethynyl, dppy=2‐pyridyldiphenylphosphine) has been synthesized. Single‐crystal X‐ray structural analysis reveals that 1 has a trigonal bipyramidal Au10Ag2 core that contains a planar Au4(2‐py?C≡C)3 unit sandwiched by two Au3Ag(dppy)3 motifs. Cluster 1 shows intense red–NIR dual emission in solution. The visible emission originates from metal‐to‐ligand charge transfer (MLCT) from silver atoms to phosphine ligands in the Au3Ag(dppy)3 motifs, and the intense NIR emission is associated with the participation of 2‐pyridylethynyl in the frontier orbitals of the cluster, which is confirmed by a time‐dependent density functional theory (TD‐DFT) calculation.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Three simple and sensitive spectrophotometric methods for the determination of ipratropium bromide (IPB) in liquid for nebulization are described. Method A, is based on the formation of a charge transfer complex with iodine. The reaction product is measured spectrophotometrically at 278 nm. Method B, is based oh the formation of an ion – association complex between the drug and an acidic dye, Bromocresol green (BCG), which is extractable into chloroform and has an absorption maximum at 418 nm. Method C, uses derivative spectrophotometry for the determination of IPB by measuring the D2-value at 232 nm. Beer's law is obeyed over the concentration range 1-10, 2-16 and 5-30 μg ml? for method A, B and C, respectively. The optimum conditions for the formation of the charge transfer or ion-association complexes were optimized. The proposed methods were applied for the determination of IPB in liquid for nebulization. Evaporation to dryness and extraction of the residue with isopropanol, were performed before application of methods A & B. Mean percentage recoveries were found to be 99.67 ± 0.79, 99.26 ± 1.06 and 100.21 ± 0.85 for method A, B, and C, respectively.  相似文献

Various nitro/nitrile-functionalized benzimidazol-2-ylidene carbene complexes of silver(I) (7ad and 11ad) were synthesized by combination of 1-allyl/1-isopropyl/1-sec-butyl/1-isopentyl-3-(nitro/cyano-benzyl)-3H-benzimidazol-1-ium hexafluorophosphate (6ad and 10ad) with silver(I) oxide in acetonitrile. The compounds were characterized by 1H, 13C NMR, FT-IR, mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis. Additionally, the in vitro antibacterial activity of the N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) precursors (6ad and 10ad) and their corresponding NHC-silver(I) complexes (7ad and 11ad) were investigated against Gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus aureus and Gram-negative bacteria Escherichia coli using the qualitative Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion method. All the NHC-silver(I) complexes exhibited medium-to-high antibacterial activity with areas of clearance ranging from 12 mm to 21 mm, while the NHC precursors were inactive against both strains of bacteria.  相似文献

The effects of addition of synthesized organic-suspension silver nanoparticles on the crystallization and thermal stability of poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate) (PHBV) were studied by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), wide-angle X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, polarized optical microscopy (POM), and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). The TEM images showed the average primary size of the as-synthesized silver nanoparticles, coated with a monolayer of the surfactants consisting of oleic acid and an alkylamine, was about 5 nm with narrow distribution, and that they were uniformly dispersed in n-heptane. PHBV/silver nanocomposites were prepared by melt mixing in an internal mixer and then injection molded into rectangle-shaped specimens by a labscale injection molding device. The coated silver nanoparticles showed a homogenuous dispersion in the PHBV matrix when the content of coated silver nanoparticles was about 1%. Both the DSC and POM data showed the efficient heterogeneous nucleation by the coated silver nanoparticles for facilitating PHBV crystallization. The thermal stability of the PHBV/silver nanocomposites improved with the increase in the content of the coated silver nanoparticles.  相似文献
