A capillary electrophoresis Raman spectroscopy (CE-RS) method based on the stacking and sweeping modes are described. A non-fluorescent compound (malachite green, MG; crystal violet, CV) and a doubled Nd:YAG laser (532 nm, 300 mW) were selected as the model compound and light source, respectively. In order to carry out a quantitative and analysis of MG, a monochromator was used to collect the specific Raman line at 1616 cm−1 (the N-φ and C-C stretching, corresponding to 582 nm when the wavelength of the exciting source is 532 nm). The limit of detection (LOD) for MG was 1.6 × 10−5 and 1.1 × 10−5 M, respectively, based on the CZE and MEKC modes. This could be improved to 3.4 × 10−7 and 5.3 × 10−9 M, respectively, when the stacking and sweeping modes were applied. The method was also extended to the determination of MG in an actual sample.  相似文献

Summary The applicability of capillary electrochromatography to the automated analysis of pesticides and phthalate esters that are of environmental concern was assessed. Reversed phase packing materials were compared. Column to column and run to run reproducibility was established. Peak height with an internal standard gave the best reproducibility. Faster analysis than alternative HPLC methods was demonstrated for a mixture of the insecticide pirimicarb and related pyrimidines. The relationship between the concentration of an analyte in a sample and at the detector was determined by the use of radio-labelled14C-pirimicarb. The volume fraction of the liquid zone was 0.64. The possibility of electroosmosis through the pores is discussed with reference to the Rice-Whitehead model for electroosmotic flow in a capillary. A new parameter, the effective pore size is used in equations for electroosmosis through porous packings.  相似文献

Naphthol green B was used, for the first time, as a new mediator in an amperometric glucose biosensor. It is a good mediator, promoting electron transfer from glucose oxidase to graphite electrode. The biosensor shows high sensitivity to glucose at low potential with response time of 30 seconds. The linear range is from 1.5 to 18μmol/L glucose with detection limit of 0.5μmol/L glucose.  相似文献

Depolymerization of an engineering plastic, poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide) (PPO), was accomplished by using 2,6-dimethylphenol (DMP) under oxidative conditions. The addition of an excess amount of DMP to a solution of PPO in the presence of a CuCl/pyridine catalyst yielded oligomeric products. When PPO (M(n)=1.0x10(4), M(w)/M(n)=1.2) was allowed to react with a sufficient amount of DMP, the molecular weight of the product decreased to M(n)=4.9x10(2) (M(w)/M(n)=1.5). By a prolonged reaction with the oxidant, the oligomeric product was repolymerized to produce PPO essentially identical to the starting material, making the oligomer useful as a reusable resource. During the depolymerization reaction, an intermediate phenoxyl radical was observed by ESR spectroscopy. Kinetic analysis showed that the rate of the oxidation of PPO was about 10 times higher than that of DMP. These results show that a monomeric phenoxyl radical attacks the polymeric phenoxyl to induce the redistribution via a quinone ketal intermediate, leading to the substantial decrease in the molecular weight of PPO, which is much faster than the chain growth.  相似文献

A dark green, viscous liquid can be formed by mixing choline chloride with chromium(III) chloride hexahydrate and the physical properties are characteristic of an ionic liquid. The eutectic composition is found to be 1:2 choline chloride/chromium chloride. The viscosity and conductivity are measured as a function of temperature and composition and explained in terms of the ion size and liquid void volume. The electrochemical response of the ionic liquid is also characterised and it is shown that chromium can be electrodeposited efficiently to yield a crack-free deposit. This approach could circumvent the use of chromic acid for chromium electroplating, which would be a major environmental benefit. This method of using hydrated metal salts to form ionic liquids is shown to be valid for a variety of other salt mixtures with choline chloride.  相似文献
