In this Letter we try to settle some confused points concerning the use of the notion of p-nuclearity in the mathematical and physical literature, pointing out that the nuclearity index in the physicists’ sense vanishes for any p> 1. We consider germs of holomorphic vector fields near the origin of with a saddle-node singularity, and the induced singular foliations. In a previous article we described the invariants addressing the analytical classification of these vector fields. They split into three parts: a formal, an orbital and a tangential component. For a fixed formal class, the orbital invariant (associated to the foliation) was obtained by Martinet and Ramis; we give it an integral representation. We then derive examples of non-orbitally conjugated foliations by the use of a “first-step” normal form, whose first-significative jet is an invariant. The tangential invariant also admits an integral representation, hence we derive explicit examples of vector fields, inducing the same foliation, that are not mutually conjugated. In addition, we provide a family of normal forms for vector fields orbitally equivalent to the model of Poincaré-Dulac. 相似文献

The purpose of this work is to investigate the hydromagnetic oscillatory flow of a fluid
bounded by a porous plate, when the entire system rotates about an axis normal to the plate. The
fluid is assumed to be non-Newtonian (second grade), incompressible and electrically conducting.
The magnetic field is applied transversely to the direction of the flow. Such a flow model has
great significance not only of its theoretical interest, but also for applications to geophysics
and engineering. The resulting initial value problem has been solved analytically for steady and
unsteady cases. The analysis of the obtained results showed that the flow field is appreciably
influenced by the material parameter of the second grade fluid, the applied magnetic field, the
imposed frequency, rotation and suction and blowing parameters. It is observed in a second grade
fluid that a steady asymptotic hydromagnetic solution exists for blowing and resonance which is

The main interpretations of the quantum-mechanical wave function are presented emphasizing how they can be divided into two ensembles: The ones that deny and the other ones that attribute a form of reality to quantum waves. It is also shown why these waves cannot be classical and must be submitted to the restriction of the complementarity principle. Applying the concept of smooth complementarity, it is shown that there can be no reason to attribute reality only to the events and not to the wave or to the initial state of a given system. Thereafter, an experiment proposed by the authors is presented, where it is shown that the wave-like behaviour allows predictions that are not allowed on the grounds of a particle-like behaviour. A general formalism is developed, that allows the construction of field theory on quantum spaces which are deformations of ordinary spacetime. The symmetry group of spacetime is replaced by a quantum group. This formalism is demonstrated for the -deformed Poincaré algebra and its quantum space. The algebraic setting is mapped to the algebra of functions of commuting variables with a suitable -product. Fields are elements of this function algebra. A pulse sequence producing a second stimulated echo is suggested for the compensation of relaxation and residual dipolar interaction effects in steady gradient spin echo diffusometry. Steady field gradients of considerable strength exist in the fringe field of NMR magnets, for instance. While the absolute echo time of the second stimulated echo is kept constant throughout the experiment, the interval between the first two radiofrequency pulses is augmented leading to a modulation of the amplitude of that second stimulated echo by self-diffusion only. The unique feature of this technique is that it is of a single-scan/single-echo-signal nature. That is, no reference signals neither of the same pulse sequence nor of separate experiments are needed. The new method was tested with poly(ethylene oxide) melts and proved to provide reliable data for (time dependent) self-diffusion coefficients down to the physical limit (D approximately 10(-15)m(2)/s) when flip-flop spin diffusion starts to become effective. 相似文献
