Abstract

The methanolic extract of Echinophora tenuifolia L. branches and its fractions were evaluated for their in vitro cell growth inhibitory activity on different human cancer cell lines (C32, LoVo and SKBr3) and the normal BJ fibroblasts. All tested samples were effective against the melanoma cell line C32, with IC50 values ranging from 22.8?±?0.8 to 78.7?±?1.2?μg/mL, the antiproliferative activity of the dichloromethane fraction being significantly higher. This fraction was also effective against the LoVo adenocarcinoma cell line, with an IC50 value of 53.0?±?2.1?μg/mL. The ethyl acetate and dichloromethane fractions showed the highest lipid peroxidation inhibitory activity, verified by means of the β-carotene bleaching test. The phytochemical profiles of E. tenuifolia branches extract were established by means of GC-MS and HPTLC. Overall, branches of E. tenuifolia L. could represent a rich source of bioactive compounds, potentially useful in the pharmaceutical field.  相似文献

The behavior of copper electro-polishing in ortho-phosphoric acid using the galvanostatic polarization method was ascertained. This was examined via measuring and comparing anode potential –limiting current relationship in solution of regularly mounting concentrations (from 50 to 1800 ppm of methanolic Allium sativum (garlic extract), Tilia cordata (Tilia leafs), Foeniculum vulgare (fennel seeds), and Lablab purpureus (Dolichos lablab extract) and weight loss method. Influence of temperature on the dissolution kinetics were investigated. First order kinetic is applicable to the copper dissolution in solution containing plant extracts. Surface morphologies, brightness and roughness of polished specimens were examined with a scanning electron microscope (SEM), reflectance and atomic force microscope (AFM). Addition of methanolic plant extract to electro-polishing solution produce a lesser limiting current. According to SEM, UV–VIS-NIR spectra and surface roughness measurements, addition of high concentration (1800 ppm) of methanolic plant extract to the electrolytic solution is highly effective to enhance surface quality. High reflection property is obtained when the different type of methanolic plant extract is added to the electro-polishing electrolyte. The minimum Ra and PV values are achieved by garlic extract, which records the highest reflectance value and inhibition efficiency. Weight loss data obtained is excellent conformity with the result obtained by electrochemical measurements.  相似文献

A sensitive liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometrical (LC/ESI-MS/MS) method was developed for simultaneous identification and quantification of two polyisoprenylated benzophenones, isoxanthochymol and camboginol, in the extracts of the fruit rinds, stem bark, seed and leaves of Garcinia indica and in the fruit rinds of Garcinia cambogia. The separation of isoxanthochymol and camboginol was achieved on an RP-8 column using the solvent system consisting of a mixture of acetonitrile-water (80:20) and methanol-acetic acid (99.0:1.0) as a mobile phase in a gradient elution mode. A multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) method was developed for quantification of isoxanthochymol and camboginol in the above extracts of Garcinia species. Based on a signal-to-noise ratio of 3, the limits of detection in MRM mode for isoxanthochymol and camboginol were 2.0 and 5.0 ng/mL respectively. The method was validated in terms of linearity, accuracy and precision for 6 days. The method developed was found to be useful for identification and quantification of isoxanthochymol and camboginol in the extracts of the fruit rinds, stem bark, seed and leaves of Garcinia indica and in the fruit rinds of Garcinia cambogia.  相似文献

建立氢化物发生-原子荧光光谱法(HG-AFS)测定铀钼矿钼反萃取液、净化液中砷含量的分析方法。仪器主要工作条件:负高压280 V,灯电流60 mA,原子化器高度9 mm,载气流量400 mL/min,屏蔽气流量1000 mL/min。砷的质量浓度在0~40μg/L范围内与荧光强度呈良好的线性,线性相关系数r=0.9998。方法测定砷的检出限为0.037μg/L,测定结果的相对标准偏差小于5%(n=6),加标回收率为90.5%~102.5%。针对溶液中的钼同多酸和杂多酸以及存在的其它氧化物,采取抗坏血酸-硫脲混合溶液进行预还原,溶液中铀含量约为0.1 g/L时,对砷的测定无影响。该法能满足铀钼矿钼反萃取液、净化液中砷含量0.005~4 g/L的测定要求。  相似文献

采用近红外漫反射光谱法对黄连浸膏粉中小檗碱、巴马亭、药根碱和总生物碱含量进行快速无损检测。以HPLC分析值作参比,采用偏最小二乘回归算法建立二阶导数光谱信息与各组分含量间的定量校正模型,并对未知样品中各组分含量进行预测。小檗碱、巴马亭、药根碱和总生物碱的预测均方差(RMSEP)分别为0.184、0.109、0.054和0.325;加样回收率分别为97.67%~99.59%、96.63%~100.70%、95.15%~101.15%和97.41%~99.89%,重现性实验相对标准偏差(RSD)分别为0.3%、0.6%、1.8%和0.3%。该方法结果准确可靠,重现性、稳定性均良好,适用于工业现场的原位和在线检测。  相似文献

The use of natural colorants is needed to overcome consumer concerns regarding synthetic food colorants′ safety. However, natural pigments have, in general, poor stability against environmental stresses such as temperature, ionic strength, moisture, light, and pH, among others. In this work, water-in-oil-in-water (W1/O/W2) emulsions were used as protective carriers to improve color stability of a hydrophilic Sambucus nigra L. extract against pH changes. The chemical system comprised water and corn oil as the aqueous and oil phases, respectively, and polyglycerol polyricinoleate (PGPR), Tween 80, and gum Arabic as stabilizers. The primary emulsion was prepared using a W1/O ratio of 40/60 (v/v). For the secondary emulsion, W1/O/W2, different (W1/O)/W2 ratios were tested with the 50/50 (v/v) formulation presenting the best stability, being selected as the coloring system to test in food matrices of different pH: natural yogurt (pH 4.65), rice drink (pH 6.01), cow milk (pH 6.47), and soy drink (pH 7.92). Compared to the direct use of the extract, the double emulsion solution gave rise to higher color stability with pH change and storage time, as corroborated by visual and statistical analysis.  相似文献

This work describes an environmental-friendly preparation of ZnO nanoparticles using aqueous oat extract. The advanced electrochemical and optical features of green synthesized ZnONPs displayed excellent antibacterial activity and exhibited an important role in pharmaceutical determinations. The formation of nanoscale ZnO was confirmed using various spectroscopic and microscopic investigations. The formed nanoparticles were found to be around 100 nm. The as-prepared ZnONPs were monitored for their antibacterial potential against different bacterial strains. The inhibition zones for ZnONPs were found as Escherichia coli (16 mm), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (17 mm), Staphylococcus aureus (12 mm) and Bacillus subtilis (11 mm) using a 30-µg mL−1 sample concentration. In addition, ZnONPs exhibited significant antioxidant effects, from 58 to 67%, with an average IC50 value of 0.88 ± 0.03 scavenging activity and from 53 to 71% (IC50 value of 0.73 ± 0.05) versus the scavenging free radicals DPPH and ABTS, respectively. The photocatalytic potential of ZnONPs for Rhodamine B dye degradation under UV irradiation was calculated. The photodegradation process was carried out as a function of time-dependent and complete degradation (nearly 98%), with color removal after 120 min. Conclusively, the synthesized ZnONPs using oat biomass might provide a great promise in the future for biomedical applications.  相似文献
