Odoriferous Cyclic Ethers via Co‐Halogenation Reaction: Facile Preparation of Nerol Oxide,Florol®, Florol® Methyl Ether,and Pityol® Methyl Ether

A series of odoriferous cyclic ethers, including nerol oxide ( 1 ), Florol^® ( 2 ), Florol methyl ether ( 3 ), and Pityol^® methyl ether ( 4b ), were prepared by a versatile synthetic protocol based on co‐halogenation with 1,3‐dibromo‐5,5‐dimethylhydantoin (= 1,3‐dibromo‐5,5‐dimethylimidazolidine‐2,4‐dione; DDH) as the key step. The methodology provides a facile access to important perfumery molecules from abundantly available monoterpene alcohols.     

The Syntheses and crystal structures of trans-dichlorobis (10-thiabenzo-15-crown-5)-palladium(Ⅱ)and trans-dichlorobis-(10-selenabenzo-15-crown-5)palladium(Ⅱ)

The preparation and X-ray crystal structures of the adducts of 10-thiabenzo-15-crown-5 and 10-selenabenzo-15-crown-5 with PdCl2 are reported. [PdCl2(C14H20O4S)2] (1): or-thorhombic, space group Pbca with cell dimensions of a=17.285(5), 6=8.354(3), c=21.689(4) A, K=3131.9 A3, Z=4;R=0.0330 for 2301 reflections with I > 3o(I), [PdCl2(C14H2oO4Se)2] (2): monoclinic, space group P21/n with cell dimensions of a=18.928(4), b=8.912(3), c=9.813(2) A, β=96.90(2)0, V=1643.4 A3, Z=2; R=0.0289 for 2617 reflections with I> 3σ(I), Both complexes are monomeric, square-planar palladiurn(Ⅱ) compounds with the Pd(Ⅱ) ion situating on a crystal-lographic inversion centre, and the crown ligands all adopt the axial coordination with the Pd-S bond of 2.3233(7) A and the Pd-Se bond of 2.4357(3) A. Their complexing characteristics are discussed in brief.     

磷钨酸/磺化杂萘联苯聚醚酮复合质子交换膜的制备及其性能

制备了基于磷钨酸(PWA)与磺化杂萘联苯聚醚酮(SPPEK)的无机-有机复合质子交换膜, 红外光谱测试结果表明, 复合膜中PWA通过端氧和桥氧共同与SPPEK发生作用; 由SEM照片看出, 对磺化度为58%的SPPEK, PWA掺杂量为20%和40%时杂多酸的分散良好, 掺杂量为60%时膜内出现颗粒聚集; PWA在水中的溶出性测试发现, 用水处理4天, 各复合膜中PWA的溶出率均低于10%; PWA/SPPEK膜具有良好的质子导电性, PWA掺杂量高于40%、磺化度为58%的SPPEK为基质的复合膜在100 ℃以上的电导率接近甚至超过Nafion115膜的电导率, 复合膜的电导率和水含量均随PWA掺杂量的增加而增加; 随着PWA掺杂量的增加复合膜的阻醇性能下降, 但除PWA掺杂量60%、SPPEK磺化度58%的复合膜外, 所制备的多种复合膜的甲醇透过系数均低于Nafion115膜.     

新型手性N,N′-双支套索冠醚的合成及其应用

(S)-苯丙氨醇和原氯乙酸三乙酯作用得到的手性酰胺醇和手性噁唑啉分别与1,7-二氮-12-冠-4反应, 得到了两种手性N,N′-双支套索冠醚N,N′-二[(S)-N-(1-羟甲基-2-苯基乙基)乙酰胺-2]-1,7-二氮-12-冠-4 (1a)和N,N′-二[(S)-4-苄基-噁唑啉-2-亚甲基]-1,7-二氮-12-冠-4 (1b). 前者应用于D/L-肉碱的手性分离; 后者的铜配合物用于重氮醋酸酯对烯烃的不对称环丙烷化反应.     

冠醚方酸碲碳菁染料的合成研究

合成了不对称冠醚方酸碲碳菁染料和对称冠醚方酸碲碳菁染料，并探讨了对称冠醚方酸碲碳菁的合成方法及反应条件，提出了其可能的反应机理。     

3-芳基戊二酰基双(4′-苯并-15-冠-5)的合成

苯甲醛和对氯苯甲醛在碱存在下分别与4′-乙酰基苯并-15-冠-5缩合,生成冠醚化查尔酮1a和1b。此二化合物作为中间体进一步与4′-乙酰基苯并-15-冠-5发生Michael反应,生成两种酮型双冠醚2a和2b。     

Rearrangement of the carbon skeleton in the intramolecular photoadduct of anthracene and benzene rings

The effectivity of optical switching between anthracene derivatives 3a,b and their intramolecular photocycloadducts 4a,b is impaired by traces of acid. The systematic treatment of 4a,b with an increasing excess of formic acid revealed that—apart from the normal enolether cleavage 4a,b→6a,b→7a,b—a cleavage with rearrangement of the carbon skeleton can occur: 5b→6b′. The driving force is a stability enhancement of the involved carbenium ions 5b→5b′. A further increased excess of formic acid leads finally to a competitive ether cleavage in the tetrahydrofuran ring 5b→8.     

系列缩水甘油醚类β-环糊精衍生物的合成及结构表征

以苯基缩水甘油醚、邻甲基酚缩水甘油醚及苯甲基缩水甘油醚(1～3)和β-环糊精为原料, 分别在弱碱水溶液(1.5%)和强碱水溶液(30%)中制备出系列缩水甘油醚类β-环糊精衍生物, 所得产物用自制硅胶色谱柱分离, 以V(正丙醇)∶V(水)∶V(浓氨水)＝6∶3∶1作为硅胶色谱柱分离纯化的洗脱剂, 得到单2位取代的苯氧基(或邻甲基苯氧基或苯甲氧基-2-羟丙基-β-环糊精(1a～3a)和单6位取代的苯氧基(或邻甲基苯氧基)-2-羟丙基-β-环糊精(1b～2b). 所得产品用薄层色谱、红外光谱、质谱和核磁共振波谱等手段进行了表征.     

Solution structure of the palladium(II) complex of 1,4,7,10-tetrathiacyclododec-2-ene-2,3-dicarbonitrile

The solution structure of the Pd(II) complex of mn-12-S4 was studied in detail by NMR spectroscopy. The stoichiometry of the complex was determined by 1H NMR titration experiments. 3J(H,H) coupling constants were extracted from the 2D J-resolved NMR spectrum of the complex providing information concerning the S-C-C-S torsional angles. Further conclusions about the conformation of [Pd(mn-12-S4)](BF4)2 were drawn from experimental NOEs. The results of the NMR study were corroborated by molecular modelling.     

Synthesis of ether‐linked bisoxazolines and their use in step‐growth polymerization reactions with phenolics

Six new ether‐linked bisoxazolines have been synthesized via reaction of p‐hydroxyphenyl‐2‐oxazoline with dihalides. These bisoxazolines may be used as chain extenders or crosslinkers for resins, monomers or polymers containing various acidic groups, including phenolics, via step‐growth (1 : 1) reactions. As an illustration, a phenol‐formaldehyde polycondensate (Alnovol) and an enzyme oligomerized bisphenol A resin, as well as poly (p‐hydroxystyrene), was chain extended and crosslinked to produce thermosets with high glass transition temperatures. The new bisoxazolines were also polymerized with diphenol compounds, such as diphone D and bisphenol P to generate linear or branched oligomers and polymers. Differential scanning calorimetry was used to evaluate the potential for polymerization and crosslinking reactions. Preliminary results showed that the new, ether‐linked bisoxazolines have potential for formulating high performance thermosets. Copyright © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
