New synthesis of benzo[b][1,6]naphthyridines and pyrido[4,3-b]benz[f]azepines from lactim ethers of 3,4-dihydrocarbostyril and 1H-2,3,4,5-tetrahydrobenz[b]azepin-2-one

Condensation of lactim ethers of 3,4-dihydrocarbostyril and 1H-2,3,4,5-tetrahydrobenz[b]azepin-2-one with malonodinitrile, cyanoacetamide, and ethyl cyanoacetate gave the corresponding 2-methylidene derivatives. Their reactions with dimethylformamide diethyl acetal followed by cyclization into benzo[b][1,6]naphthyridines and pyrido[4,3-b]benz[f ]azepines were studied. Construction of a pyrido[4,3-<Emphasis Type="Italic">d</Emphasis>]pyrimidine system on the basis of <Emphasis Type="Italic">N</Emphasis>-cyanobenzamidine and diethyl acetone-1,3-dicarboxylate

Nickel acetate promoted reaction of diethyl acetone-1,3-dicarboxylate with N-cyanobenzamidine led to ethyl 4-amino-6-ethoxycarbonylmethyl-2-phenylpyrimidine-5-carboxylate, upon treatment of which with RNH₂, the corresponding 6-(carbamoylmethyl)pyrimidines were obtained. Cyclization of the latter upon treatment with MeONa afforded 6-R-4-amino-7-hydroxy-2-phenylpyrido[4,3-d]pyrimidin-5(6H)-ones. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. N-乙基咔唑的绿色高效合成

以咔唑为原料,碳酸二乙酯为烷基化试剂,碳酸铯和三乙基苄基氯化铵为共催化剂,经烷基化反应绿色合成了N-乙基咔唑,其结构经¹H NMR和HR-ESI-MS确证。在最佳反应条件［咔唑200 mmol,碳酸二乙酯1.2 eq.,碳酸铯（0.05 eq.）和三乙基苄基氯化铵（0.05 eq.）为催化体系,于180 ℃反应3 h］下,产率99%。     

1,8-亚乙基萘在三氟化硼乙醚-聚乙二醇中的电化学聚合

在三氟化硼乙醚(BFEE)-聚乙二醇(分子量400,PEG400)混合电解质溶液中,1,8-亚乙基萘直接阳极氧化聚合可以获得自支撑聚(1,8-亚乙基萘)膜.单体在三氟化硼乙醚+10%PEG400中的起始氧化电位为0.95 Vversus SCE,远低于单体在0.1 mol.L-1四氟化硼四丁基胺-乙腈溶液中的起始氧化电位(1.38 VversusSCE).同时PEG400的加入可以有效改善单体在三氟化硼乙醚中的溶解性.UV-Vis,FTIR和1H-NMR确定了1,8-亚乙基萘在4,5位聚合,荧光光谱表明固态及可溶聚(1,8-亚乙基萘)膜是蓝色发光材料.     

The modification and characterization of maleic anhydride-styrene-methyl metacrylate terpolymer by poly(ethylene adipate)

In this study, the functionality of maleic anhydride was utilized in the maleic anhydride-styrene-methyl metacrylate (MAStMMA) terpolymer. First, the polyester of poly(ethylene adipate), PEA, polycondensation copolymer was synthesized from ethylene glycol and adipic acid monomers. PEA was then modified on its maleic anhydride units in the MAStMMA terpolymer which has been synthesized previously. This modified copolymer was characterized by FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy). The viscosimetric and thermomechanical characterization of MAStMMA terpolymer and its modified copolymer were also performed and the results were compared. The modified copolymer obtained was found to be more elastic and more soluble, and had lower viscosity and density.     

Synthesis and Characterization of Poly（butylene adipate-co-terephthalate） Catalyzed by Rare Earth Stearates

Rare earth （Nd, Y, La, Dy） stearates have been synthesized and used as single component catalysts for the polycondensation of dimethyl terephthalate, adipic acid and 1,4-butanediol for the first time preparing biodegradable poly（butylene adipate-co-terephthalate） （PBAT） with high molecular weight, The microstructures of PBAT were characterized by ^1H NMR spectra. The PBAT exhibits good mechanical properties such as high tensile strength （ca. 20 MPa） and long break elongation （〉700%）.     

Coordination polymer chains built from CuII and adipate ions linked by hydrogen bonds to form a three‐dimensional framework structure

In the title compound, catena‐poly[bis[(2,2′‐bipyridine‐κ²N,N′)(1,1,3,3‐tetracyano‐2‐ethoxypropenido‐κN)copper(II)]‐μ₄‐hexanedioato‐κ⁶O¹,O^1′:O¹:O⁶,O^6′:O⁶], [Cu₂(C₉H₅N₄O)₂(C₆H₈O₄)(C₁₀H₈N₂)₂]_n, the adipate (hexanedioate) dianion lies across a centre of inversion in the space group P. The Cu^II centre adopts a distorted form of axially elongated (4+2) coordination, and the Cu^II and adipate components form a one‐dimensional coordination polymer from which the 2,2′‐bipyridine and 1,1,3,3‐tetracyano‐2‐ethoxypropenide components are pendent, and where each adipate dianion is bonded to four different Cu^II centres. The coordination polymer chains are linked into a three‐dimensional framework structure by a combination of C—H...N and C—H...O hydrogen bonds, augmented by a π–π stacking interaction.     

乙酸-三氟化硼乙醚混合质子电解质

乙酸和三氟化硼乙醚(BFEE)本身离子电导率很低, 向乙酸中加入少量BFEE可以形成良好的混合质子电解质溶液. 随着乙酸中BFEE浓度的变化, 混合电解质溶液的离子电导率迅速上升, 当BFEE摩尔分数为65%时具有最大值, 达5800 μS/cm. 红外光谱和¹H NMR研究表明混合电解质中的主要导电离子为CH₃COOH₂^＋和CH₃COOBF₃^－.     

Micellar effects of surfactants in cleavage of 4-nitro-phenyl diethyl phosphonate by hydroperoxide anion

We have studied the nucleophilicity of the hydroperoxide anion relative to 4-nitrophenyl diethyl phosphonate (NPDEPS) in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (water, 25 °C) while varying the acidity of the medium and the hydroperoxide anion concentration over a broad range. The increase in the reaction rate when the reaction is transferred to a micellar pseudophase is as high as ∼10-fold, which is explained by concentration effects. In CTAB micelles, as in water, the hydroperoxide ion is one of the most effective α-nucleophiles, and the size of the α-effect, characterized by the ratio of the second-order rate constants for reactions of HOO⁻ and OH⁻ anions with NPDEPS, remains practically constant and reaches a value of ∼50-fold. __________ Translated from Teoreticheskaya i éksperimental’naya Khimiya, Vol. 42, No. 6, pp. 357–363, November–December, 2006.
