Nickel acetate promoted reaction of diethyl acetone-1,3-dicarboxylate with N-cyanobenzamidine led to ethyl 4-amino-6-ethoxycarbonylmethyl-2-phenylpyrimidine-5-carboxylate, upon treatment of which with
RNH2, the corresponding 6-(carbamoylmethyl)pyrimidines were obtained. Cyclization of the latter upon treatment with MeONa afforded
6-R-4-amino-7-hydroxy-2-phenylpyrido[4,3-d]pyrimidin-5(6H)-ones.

Poly(propylene adipate) (PPA) and poly(propylene isophthalate/adipate) (PPI-PPA) random copolymers of various compositions were synthesized in bulk and characterized in terms of chemical structure and molecular weight. Furthermore, the thermal behavior was examined by thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry. All the polymers showed a good thermal stability. At room temperature they appeared as semicrystalline materials, except the copolymers containing 20 and 30 mol% of PI units: the main effect of copolymerization was a lowering in the amount of crystallinity and a decrease of melting temperature with respect to homopolymers. The crystalline phase of PPI and PPA was evidenced at high content of propylene isophthalate or propylene adipate units, respectively. Amorphous samples were obtained after melt quenching and an increment of Tg as the content of PI units is increased was observed. This behavior was explained as due to the stiff phenylene groups in the polymeric chain. The Wood equation was found to describe well Tg-composition data. Lastly, the presence of a rigid-amorphous phase was evidenced in the copolymers, differently from PPA homopolymer. 相似文献

The Raman shift and crystallite modulus were measured under the application of tensile force for a giant single crystal and a series of uniaxially oriented semicrystalline samples of poly(trans‐1,4‐diethyl muconate) (polyEMU). The apparent Raman shift factor αapp or a vibrational frequency shift per 1 GPa tensile stress was higher for the semicrystalline samples with lower crystallinity or lower bulk modulus. The apparent crystallite modulus E or Young's modulus along the chain axis in the crystalline region was not constant but varied remarkably between the giant single crystal and semicrystalline samples. A systematic change in αapp and E among the polyEMU samples with different preparation history could be interpreted quantitatively on the basis of a mechanical series parallel model consisting of crystalline and amorphous phases. The origin of different E and αapp was speculated to be a stress concentration on the taut‐tie chain contained as a parallel crystalline component in the mechanical model. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The chemical reactions and kinetics of the catalytic coupling reaction of carbon monoxide to diethyl oxalate were studied in the presence of hydrogen over a supported palladium catalyst in the gaseous phase at the typical coupling reaction conditions. The experiments were performed in a continuous flow fixed-bed reactor. The results indicated that hydrogen only reacts with ethyl nitrite to form ethanol, and kinetic studies revealed that the rate-determining step is the surface reaction of adsorbed hydrogen and the ethoxy radical (EtO-). A kinetic model is proposed and a comparison of the observed and calculated conversions showed that the rate expressions are of rather high confidence. 相似文献

Loss of diamine and distinct transition phenomena from the solid to the melt state restrain solid-state polymerization (SSP) of nylon salts from industrial application. To depress these phenomena temperatures well below the melting point of the starting material are employed, resulting however in low reaction rates. The need to use catalysts arises and accordingly in this study hexamethylenediammonium adipate (HMA) particles were polymerized containing a strictly controlled amount of uniformly distributed catalyst. The catalysts included boric, sulphuric, and phosphoric acids with boric acid being the most effective in accelerating the reaction while eliminating the tendency to agglomeration. In general, catalyst concentration up to a critical value plays a considerable role in the overall behavior. The kinetics and mechanism of the thermal degradation of poly(diethyl fumarate) (PDEF) were studied by thermogravimetry, as well as by analysis of the thermolysis volatiles and polymer residue. The characteristic mass loss temperatures were determined, as were the overall thermal degradation activation energies of three PDEF samples of varying molar mass. Ethylene and ethanol were present in the thermolysis volatiles at degradation temperatures below 300 °C, while diethyl fumarate was also evidenced at higher degradation temperatures. The amount of monomer increased with increasing degradation temperature. The dependence of the molar mass of the residual polymer on the degradation time and temperature was established and the number of main-chain scissions per monomer unit, s/P0, calculated. A thermal degradation mechanism including de-esterification and random main-chain scission is proposed. The thermal degradation of PDEF was compared to the thermolysis of poly(ethyl methacrylate) (PEMA), poly(diethyl itaconate) (PDEI) and poly(ethyl acrylate) (PEA). 相似文献

New pyrazolo[1.5.4-de]quinoxaline derivatives were prepared by the action of 7-aminoindazole 1 on diethyl and dimethyl acetylene dicarboxylates. The structures of the obtained compounds and the direction of cyclization were investigated through a crystallographic study of compound 2. Further alkylation, hydrogenation, and bromination were also explored. AbstractWe present a multicomponent reaction strategy to synthesize a (dihydro-1H-benzo[d]imidazole)phosphonate family of compounds, using benzimidazoles, diethyl chlorophosphate and aliphatic amines as starting reactants. Giving its simplicity, our procedure involves reaction times of only few hours and avoid the usage of any catalyst agent.
