A particular case of a cellular automata-based model of two-state opinion formation in social groups with a strong leader is studied. We consider a 2D Euclidian geometry of social space and mutual interactions 1/r n . The model shows an interesting dynamics which can be analytically calculated. There are two stable states of the system: a cluster around the leader and unification. Unstable clusters may also appear. A variation in parameters such as the leader's strength or the social temperature can change the size of a cluster or, when they reach some critical values, make the system jump into another state. For a certain range of parameters the system exhibits bistability and hysteresis phenomena. We obtained explicit formulas for the cluster size, critical leader's strength, and critical social temperature. These analytical results are verified by computer simulations.  相似文献

Let {} be a sequence of cubes inZ d ; we show that the logarithmic Sobolev constant for the finite systems onM A shrinks at most exponentially fast in ||(d-1)/d (d2), which is sharp in order for the classical Ising models withM=[–1, 1]. The formation of inclusion complexes of -, -, hydroxypropyl-- (HP--) and -cyclodextrins with phenylbutazone and oxyphenbutazone has been studied in aqueous buffer solution (pH 7.5 and 0.1 mol dm-3 NaCl), dimethylsulfoxide, and 25, 50 and 75% dimethylsulfoxide/water mixtures. These complexation reactions have been followed by UV electronic absorption spectroscopy. In addition, 1D and 2D 1H NMR spectra were recorded to obtain structural information about the inclusion complexes formed in solution; 136 binding constant values were determined at five different temperatures (288, 293, 298, 303 and 310 K) from the electronic absorption data and, from these Hbinding and Sbinding values were obtained. At the studied cyclodextrin and guest concentration ranges, 1 : 1 inclusion complexes were detected. Only in three cases were 1 : 2 complexes detected, those of phenylbutazone and oxyphenbutazone with -cyclodextrin in aqueous, and oxyphenbutazone with hydroxypropyl--cyclodextrin in 75% dimethylsulfoxide/water solutions.  相似文献

Simple and sensitive Spectrophotometric methods for the determination of labetalol hydrochloride are described. The first two are based on the oxidative coupling reaction of labetalol hydrochloride withp-N,N-dimethyl-phenylenediamine dihydrochloride (method A, max 685 nm) and 3-methyl-2-benzothiazolinone hydrazone hydrochloride (method B, max 545 nm) in the presence of sodium hypochlorite and eerie ammonium sulphate as oxidants, respectively. The third depends on the formation of an ion-association complex of labetalol hydrochloride with suprachen violet 3B at pH 1.3, which is extracted into chloroform (method C, max 565 nm). The methods obey Beer's law and the precision and accuracy of the methods were checked against the B.P. reference method and the relative standard deviations were in the range 0.35–0.52%. These methods are applied to the determination of labetalol in dosage forms.  相似文献

We examined the time-dependent intensity decays ofN-acetyl-l-tryptophanamide (NATA) when collisionally quenched by acrylamide in propylene glycol over a range of temperatures. The intensity decays of NATA became increasingly heterogeneous in the presence of acrylamide. The NATA intensity decays were not consistent with the Collins-Kimball radiation boundary condition (RBC) model for quenching. The steady-state Stern-Volmer plots show significant upward curvature, and quenching of NATA by acrylamide was observed even in vitrified propylene glycol, where translational diffusion cannot occur during the lifetime of the excited state. These frequencydomain and steady-state data indicate a through-space quenching interaction between NATA and acrylamide, and the results are consistent with a rate constant for quenching that depends exponentially on the fluorophore-quencher separation distance. The exponential distance-dependent rate of quenching also explains the upward curvature of the Stern-Volmer plot, and the steady-state data aid in determining the interaction distance between NATA and acrylamide. These results suggest that the distance-dependent quenching rates need to be considered in the interpretation of acrylamide quenching of proteins.  相似文献

The functionalized cyclodextrin 6-deoxy-6-[1-(2-amino)ethylamino]--cyclodextrin was synthesized, and an NMR, EPR, pH-metric, and calorimetric investigation was carried out in aqueous solution in order to ascertain its behaviour towards protonation and copper(II) complex formation. The thermodynamic parameters of the ternary complex formation with alanine, phenylalanine and tryptophan enantiomeric pairs were also determined (25° C andI=0.1 mol dm–3). No thermodynamic enantioselectivity was observed in these systems, while a chiral, though poor, discrimination was observed in LEC: c.d. spectra also show enantiomeric stereoselectivity. The results of the present investigation, compared with previously reported results, suggest the occurence of acis-complex trans-complex equilibrium in such systems.  相似文献

The purpose of the study was to examine the formation of inclusion compounds in the freeze-dried products obtained from aqueous solutions of nicotinic acid and -cyclodextrin (-CD), or heptakis (2,6-0-dimethyl)--cyclodextrin (DIMEB). The molar ratios used were 1:1 and 2:1. In addition two freezing temperatures (–40 and –196°C) and different secondary drying temperatures (+50 and +80°C) were used. Freeze-dried products with -CD obtained after low temperature freezing are of the same crystallographic structure as seen in a pure inclusion compound prepared by coprecipitation. Amorphous products were formed after fast freezing. The molar ratios of included nicotinic acid in the freeze-dried products vary — dependent on the preparation conditions — between 0.75:1 and 1:1. A factorial design proves that the included drug amount can be increased by enhancement of the amount of nicotinic acid used, by faster freezing, and by the combination of these two factors. The proof of inclusion formation was given by a combination of X-ray diffractography, differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetry and thermofractography.The freeze-dried preparations obtained with DIMEB were amorphous mixtures of the two components. No proof for inclusion of the nicotinic acid in the cyclodextrin cavity could be given. Higher (–40°C) or lower (–196°C) freezing temperatures and the running of the secondary drying process could not influence these results. The very low stability constant of the complex and steric reasons are responsible for this behavior.  相似文献

This paper reports TG analyses of inclusion complexes of-cyclodextrin with benzene, acetylsalicylic acid and methyl salicylate. The data were used for calculation of the compositions of the three body complexes and the apparent kinetic parameters of the thermal decompositions. Water exclusion proceeds as a reaction with ordern=1 and an activation energy about 20 kJ/mol. The expulsion of aromatic guest molecules follows ann=1 order process with the activation energy above 155 kJ/mol, except that for the methyl salicylate complex, which was found to be ca. 64 kJ/mol.  相似文献

An electrostatic bond energy model is formulated to fit the enthalpies of formation and dipole moments of the alkanes and chloroalkanes. In this model, the charge distributions are calculated by an electrostatic approach similar to the "MSE" method, and the enthalpy of formation of a molecule is the sum of the bond energy terms plus the electrostatic energy of the interactions between the charges on all atoms. All parameters of this model are obtained by parameterization. The calculated dipole moments for 13 chloroalkanes and enthalpies of formation for 19 alkanes and non-geminal chloroalkanes agree with the determined values very well. To calculate the enthalpies of formation of geminal chloroalkanes, a correction mainly attributed to the van der Waals interactions in the geminal substituted group, about 24 kJ/mol per pair of geminal chlorine atoms, is introduced.  相似文献
